Plenty of selection but the prices were ridiculously high for consignment . I would not make a special trip to Manatee county to go again.

Nice people but Giver Beware! Their contract says they must keep your item for 60 days and unsold items become the property of Fifi's for them to dispose of as determined by Fifi's. So basically, you give them a $300 purse to sell, and maybe they give you $35 and keep the rest of your stuff if you forget to pick it up in exactly 60 days. May I recommend, if you're not hard up for that $35, that you gift/sell cheap your items to a friend, neighbor, cleaning lady, church... instead? read more

Fabulous store and did not remind me of a typical consignment store! I did not have much time but I will be back to leisurely browse. I did find adorable cop pants that looked brand new from Talbots and a top to match for 70% less than I would have paid retail and very much in style. Also the store is huge! On ND (Next Door) many people have taken items into Fifi's Things have come up missing, only to be found elsewhere hidden and hanging up with a price tag on it. When you take things in to consign they make everyone sign a contract (releasing them) incase things come up missing, and many things do. Expensive things brought in and one woman was paid $7 for her items Many, many people's items have gone missing, and it's always expensive items. Many have warned others not to consign your items there. Many are threatening to report them to the BBB. I'll never go there And on top of that owner is reported to being arrogant read more

WARNING....... DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MERCHANDISE. I left several items in the Lakewood Ranch store. One of these items was a pair of expensive shoes that was sold and I only got three dollars which they will not give me unless I sell $20 worth of clothes. I went into the store to take the rest of my merchandise out when I found out that a black velvet jacket that I left there was not accounted for and neither was it sold. I later found out that several other people had the same problem with their merchandise missing. read more

Stopped by today for an "emergency " dress for an event later in the evening. I found an amazing selection of cocktail dresses and some nice formalwear options. Bought a BCBG dress, with the tag still on it, for 70% off retail. They have a wide variety of name brand lines including, Chico's, Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, Escada and Ermangildo Zegna. The sales clerk was chatty and friendly. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. read more

It is an ok Fifi's.Before I start you should know it is a franchise only. You can find nice staff once in a while.But even though they tell the consigners that they ONLY take quality high end items, there are a lot of mediocre,worn and outdated clothes. I stoped consigning with them because of that. It is a huge store however the merchandise are crowded and not well displayed.Prices are anywhere from $20 and up. Lot of replica jewelry stated as "Cartier LIKE ring" In my point of view it is a bummer because I do not want to buy some fake stuff,I want the real thing or nothing.I don't think they should sell the fakes...But hey it is only me. Not one employee acknowledged me from the time I walked into the store until the time I left. It was my first time inside, I was not impressed. They need a bigger selection of plus size clothing. I also looked for stylish clothes for my teenage daughter who wears a size 5 and didn't find anything. I'm sure it just depends on when you go as to what they will have since it's a resale shop, however most items seemed geared more toward those lost in the 90s. I went to FiFi's on the recommendation of a family member that lives in the area on 11/13/15. I consider myself somewhat of thrift store junkie and was able to compare FiFi's to similar places I had visited. The store is very large and well organized. Although, the step ladder pricing (discounts based on the date on when an item was consigned) can be a little confusing. The staff does a good job of explaining it. A couple of my fellow Yelpers have commented that the prices are a little high. People might be getting consignment confused with thrift. Consignment stores take a percentage of their profit from an item and give it to the individual who brought it in. The items tend to be a little higher (so everyone gets a "bite of the apple"). A thrift store does not give back any money and/or profit to an individual (indirectly gets to individuals when it is given to the non profit organization). The prices at thrift store will be lower because nobody else is "getting a cut". Fifi's makes it fairly easy to look for clothes. They're organized based on size and type of clothing. I thought. The purse collection of designer and store brand names was very impressive. (I found a purse I have been "wearing" since my visit.) In a nutshell, this location of FiFi's is a good representation of what shopping on consignment should look like. read more

Fifi's is a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them if you want to sell items. The staff is wonderful.

I know a lot of the older reviews say the sales ladies here were very rude so when I came I prepared myself for rude employees but that wasn't the case at all. All of the sales ladies were super chatty and friendly, offering to help me find anything and explaining how their sale worked. The designer stuff is a little more expensive as far as used clothing goes, but it wasn't hard at all to find some good deals on higher end clothes. They don't sell any furniture that I saw, it's mostly women's clothing, accessories, and shoes with a small section for men in the back. read more

The only problem I have with Fifis is that I always buy too much! I go through all the racks up front where they have the nicer clothes. After I try on all my choices I make my way to the display area near the cash register where there are great accessories to be had. The staff has always been kind and helpful. The manager is also a fun lady to interact with at the counter. I find the prices excellent for a consignment shop. I visit the store every month. read more

I have been in my share of upscale establishments where general snobbery prevails....I wear many "hats" in my day to day life. Apparently you are immediately judged by appearance at Fifi's. Being that I was on the go and dressed in a ballcap and sneakers rather than in heels and carrying a Coach, I was not acknowledged at all even though I entered the store before any other customers and stood right next to the clerk. (Lordy I hope this was not the owner) Just minutes after being ignored for a pianful legnth of time, two other customers entered at which time the sales associate leaped into action and proceeded to explain all of the sales for the day and followed them around the store assisting them intently. If you are the owner or manager of this store here is some advice for you. You are a complete fool for thinking you can guess my age and/or intent to buy based on my casual attire. I came to this place to find a dinning room table. I found some tall ceramics candle holders thAt I wanted to buy. I was waiting for the lady at the register to finish her phone call to ask her the price. I over heard her talking about the ceramic candle holders with the owner stating that they have been in the store since last January and still haven't sold. She told her if she would like to come pick them up or donate them. After she finished her call I approached her and asked her how much they were that I was interested in buying them. In a mean ignorant tone she told me they were being donated now. I'm pretty sure the owner would have liked the lady to call her back and tell her she had someone interested in buying them. We purchased a dining room set with chairs from Fifi's for our dining room. In turn, they picked up our dining room table with 4 chairs (I bought them as a set) to sell at their re-sale shop. They told me they would price & sell the table and chairs separately. Almost two months later, I went to the store to check on whether or not our set had been sold. I saw the table, but they had dark metal high-back chairs with my table which was not the correct height or style (the table base is wood with a glass top). After inquiring as to where the chairs were, I was told the chairs to my table were in the warehouse and the chairs by the table had to "come out first" to sell. I complained to the manager, Emily, and she did not agree that the chairs should be displayed with the table. Her resolution was for me to pay $50.00 to have the table and chairs returned to my house. She finally agreed to put the chairs with the table and sell as a set but refused to change the date on the table so now the set will be discounted 20%. But, the chairs were never put on the floor to sell in the first place. read more

It's in Lakewood Ranch, Not the one in Bradenton. WARNING: DO NOT CONSIGN YOUR ITEMS HERE. There is funny business going on about how they handle what they claim is "donated to charity". Their contract says 160 days is how long they keep items before being donated. We were first told that our very nice condition Coach purse went to charity after just 10 days of them accepting it with no phone call to warn us. Then, when we questioned where it went and why, it mysteriously reappeared in their backroom today with a very unclear explanation. Sounds fishy to me. read more

It is true, they are not in the least bit helpful or friendly. I didn't enjoy getting sized up and down, then called "girl" by an employee (I'm 40 yrs old) to a coworker. I waited for this employee to finish up doing some task at the desk and help me with an item. I purchased a very heavy mirror after very little assistance to look at it and there was no help carrying it out even though there were about 4 others working there besides the woman helping me. A woman walking by outside offered to help me get the mirror in my car after I had managed to pull it up to the door. Really rude employees. To add insult to injury she even ID'd me after giving her my card to pay. I'm an understanding person so i get that they need to protect themselves but everything considered, it was not a good experience. The clothing store may get different reviews but the furniture stores are not impressive. Not sure if I care that this place stays in business. read more

One of the nicest consignment stores I've seen yet! They are very high end and have the store set up like a boutique shop. Prices are very reasonable especially since everything goes on sale after 30 days. I am a happy shopper and consignor and I very much enjoy the staffs high energy atmosphere. I have been into this store twice both times I have encountered rude staff. I was told over the phone that I could bring in three high end men's shoes anytime. I was surprised today when I brought them in and was told by a staff person "not today, one day a month we don't take consignments and this is the day". Then she turned and walked away with no apology for the mixup or explanation. I would take the shoes to Goodwill before I bring them back there. read more

The process of consigning in this store is cumbersome starting with poor communication. Do not bring vintage designer clothes, they will not be accepted with the comment "out of fashion". So bring your 20-year old Gucci or Prada outfit somewhere else. We also noted, that tags on clothes were ticketed higher than in the lists we were provided. Bears the question, were to the extra $$ go to? Leaves a bad aftertaste. And don't even think they will notify you when they sold something or expect to have the check mailed to you. Won't happen. If your items don't sell, kiss them good-bye, they will go to a charity of the store's choice. Rather pick them up and get a donation receipt from the charity of your choice. They have some decent items, but the staff leaves a lot to be desired! There are 2 stores at this strip mall location just a few doors apart from one another. I've been there 3 different times and the one store has not been open due to staffing issues, BUT the sister store had 3 staff members working two of the times I was there and 4 on the last time. I wanted to see an item in the other store but was told they couldn't leave the current store to show me anything. Really? They had the ability to do so (I asked), but "can't leave the current store understaffed". Seriously? I was the only one in the store, so after 3 TIMES of trying to get into the other store, I gave up. I did, however, find something in the store that was open, but wanted to bring my husband back that night to see it. I forgot to look at their hours, so I pulled it up on the Internet which said every day, except Sunday, until 6:00 pm. So, I/we made the 32 mile round trip back for the 4th time!!!! Arrived at 5:05 pm. CLOSED!!! I was exasperated, but the piece was visible through the window and my husband really liked it. We spotted 2 employees inside who came to the door and who remembered me. I told them about the error in posted hours on the web and they rudely said that was only for their LWR store. I told them the stores were all listed separately with the hours and this store said 6:00 pm. They said I mis-read it. Whatever...geez! (for the record, I did NOT mis-read it and is still posted incorrectly today). I asked if they wanted to sell a $600 piece now since I had come back for the 4th time, etc. etc., but they just said "no". No further commentary or explanation from them. I was shocked! We all know a store can make a sale after registers are closed if they want to. It's very simple, but not these people. So, I guess 4 poor experiences IS their standard level of "service"...if you can call it that. I will NEVER shop at any of these stores again.
