Getting there from Corpus Christi is pretty quick. We left from the Southside and was there in 30 minutes. Of course this was 11 am on a Thursday. Huge venue!! Great for parties and great to take all ages of children to run out their pent-up energy. Lots of outside seating areas to keep an eye on the little ones! Menu to study then order at counter. Given a number and food is brought to you. Had to ask for utensils and extra plates but the waitress was glad to get them. Menu has a lot of choices everything from appetizers, main entrées, salad, sandwiches, pizza. Also has kids selections. Lots of varied places to sit, sofas, tall tables, small tables, long tables for groups. Perfect for a family reunion! Large screens on the inside and outside with special events to attend. This is such a cute place, great for families with children of all ages, there is something for everyone. I love how clean the entire place is and the staff are all friendly. The atmosphere is very family oriented. Had some pizza and chicken tenders and everything was great. My pina colada was a little too sweet but other than that. 10/10 I totally recommend this place. read more

So far so good. I think that There are a lot of things right about this venue, and I am actually impressed that Portland put together such a good place. For locals to gather. There are a lot of great spaces, including the big lawn. The climbing. Monkey bar thing for the kids, the hills for the kids to roll down the splash pad. And a lot of different spaces for people to utilize. Also enjoy the ability to buy stuff from local food trucks Outside of the venue. However, we have a few complaints. primarily about the seating.. I am older, as are a lot of people who go there, and I cannot stand for very long. I'm limited to about an hour and that is it. I have to sit down somewhere or I have to leave. There are very few free seats. And most of the seats there are frankly quite expensive. For someone who just wants to go hang out for a while. A table of four. Is $60 for the evening. And I'm usually not interested in staying for more than an hour or two, My wife turns into a pumpkin at About 9:00 has do a lot of other people. and so that doesn't justify the cost of a table. It would great be great if we could bring our own chairs to sit at. Even if we had to pay a small fee per chair. . I would happily bring my own chair., hang out, and probably make it up with some food and drinks being purchased. But if I'm a force to stand up for very long, we simply have to leave. Before our legs give out. Funny thing is, I can walk for miles, but I can't stand still for more than about 45 minutes or so. Please please please consider. An alternative. Policy regarding bringing your own folding. Or beach or whatever kind of chairs. We would for sure stay a lot longer and probably spend a lot more on food and drinks to make up for it. Thanks! The pizza had tons of flavor, and the wings were super flavorful too. The sliders were a little on the dry side, but still good. Fries were definitely on point. Service was great, and our bartender Kat was absolutely awesome!! It was pretty busy, but the environment was fun with lots to do. We don't have kids, but if we did, this would be a spot we'd come to all the time. Overall, a really fun place! read more

We were from out of town visiting family and this place was recommended for a larger group. This place was awesome!! So many options for food drinks and entertainment! I have two young girls that were easily entertained by the many game options as well as outdoor area to just run around. It was food truck night so even more food options than normal. Our food came out fast and not one complaint, it was great. We reserved a table ahead of time and had a very attentive server that kept the drinks coming. Honestly I want to know if this place would do a franchise in Dallas cause it is exactly the kind of place for young families that we need! Highly recommend for those visiting from out of town or locals who need a hangout and good food. They also had an area upstairs for 21+ only! Perfect watch spot for the World Cup! read more

We wondered about the location when we first heard about this place but it is a great venue, Great music, good food and drinks.

Very poor service. We arrived and placed an order for inside dining. Around an hour and a half later, we went to check on our food, and we're told that we would have to pick it up at the to go counter. The people working that counter seemed confused when asked and didn't have our food. A good while later, our food was served to us. The burgers and pizza were fine, but the seafood was cold. I used to be a regular, but not anymore. PLEASE BRING THE FOOD TRUCKS BACK! read more

Ate at the bar at The Grove. Great experience with helpful servers. Loved the sangria and fried pickles (both 10/10). Pizza had some weird spice on it but was good. Avocado tacos needed more seasoning and had a chewy shell. Great street corn. Ambiance very nice. Will definitely return with the family. read more

We visited this joint for the first time on Saturday. There happened to be a free concert which was very nice. Luckily when we arrived we were able to get a little round table that included 5 chairs. However turnover seemed frequent with other tables and there were a good amount of picnic tables. We did get 2 orders of the fried pickles, unfortunately it took almost an hour from getting in line to getting back to our table. The majority of this time was standing in line waiting to order. We will be trying out the food truck next time, they seemed to be quicker. They had an outside bar and two inside bars. There is a lot of games for kids of all ages and lots of room for running and playing. Although extremely busy parking was not horrible. We will definitely be going back. read more

Food is horrible so is service it took 2 hours to get a burger a small pizza and a drink, and i would understand if it was jam packed but there was barely 5 people there at 5:00 pm, and i ( a teen ) got kicked out for doing what every other teen was doing, rough housing on the hill and the place is awfully trashed. read more
