In addition, when I called a second time after figuring out my mom wasn't going to be around, they worked out a late delivery time and left the flowers in a cool, shaded spot so they weren't wilty when my mom got home. I ended up buying a few ornaments - got some food ornaments to go on our soon to be food themed Christmas tree. My husband and have 6 Christmas trees and the number keeps going up every year haha. I told him this year I want a food themed tree in our dining room. The only thing I was disappointed with though was that I wanted the gumdrop garland on the food themed tree but didn't see it anywhere for sale. We asked the cashier if she had it and she insisted if it was in the tree they had it, but she looked and came back empty handed. Since I'm not familiar with the area I wanted to talk to a live person, not order online. Well, Friendly Flowers answered on the second ring. I didn't get the gentleman's name who went above and beyond to help me but he took the time to discuss what I was looking at on their website and made some suggestions to personalize a tailored, one of a kind arrangement. My sister received the bouquet the next day and was overjoyed with the look and smell of the flowers. The price was also VERY reasonable and the service, priceless. And rather than just apologizing ("Hey, we're surprisingly busy today") or empathizing in some miniscule way at my frustration, they told me I wasn't important - since I was an individual and not a business or a funeral, I was last in line to receive the flowers for the day. Then, they felt compelled to email again so they made sure they got the last word in the debate. Not professional and not customer-friendly at all. Trying to separate the snarkiness of the after-delivery conversation from the flowers in giving my review. I wouldn't recommend speaking to them - just order online. The employee working shared they get their bouquets fresh in the morning, so you are unable to pick out a bouquet with certain flowers you handpick. However, there were a number of beautiful bouquets to choose from. When I went to the register with the bouquet, the employee stated she felt like something was missing and wanted to add a few more flowers. This transformed an already beautiful bouquet and I appreciated her going the extra mile! Our family loves the bouquet and comments each time they walk by the flowers. The flowers are fresh, beautiful, and have a nice variety. I really appreciate this extra kindness and will definitely be back! I love knowing there is a florist close that will go above and beyond.
