I'm so torn. This is a local business to me. I've been there a couple of times. The last time I was there was in late May early June 2020, for a mani pedi. 4 stars. I'm a guy. I've not had that stuff done to me in about a decade. I was impressed and showed my appreciation in the hard work I put her through with a $45.00 tip. This time around. It was absolute torture!!! It started when I first got into the the pedi chair with the water running. She walked away to do or get something. The water from the nozzle was hitting my left foot and was so hot it was burning me. I actually took my feet out of the water. When she came back she must have turned off the hot water and that's when the torture started. There was no skill with the nail file. The file was flat against the nails and my toes. Filing off nail and skin together. While that was happening the massage chair was bumping me around. So I was getting messed up on my toes and up top on the top of my back and neck. I had to turn the chair off. The chair was a minor problem. But the torture just moved over to my left foot. It was so bad I my reflexes pulled my foot away. It continued on to the scraping of my feet. Oh My God!!! I was literally silently screaming. My mask which usually covers well under my chin my mouth was screaming wide open so much, the mask was only covering my bottom lip. I was jumping in my chair. How she didn't notice is beyond me. I was texting two friends while getting the pedi. I don't know how. But I was doing it. Several times I had to stop and just silently scream. I'm no cry baby. I've been stabbed twice as a bouncer, hit with a baseball bat across my knees. I've been through a lot of pain. I'm saying where's that batt!? I actually saw a line of blood on my big tow. And when it came to the manicure I didn't say anything or realize it at the time. But she didn't take her tools out of the sanitizing oven-thingy behind her. So I don't know if they were sanitized. No soapy water. Probably because of covid. The killer? My fingers need to be filed again. And I still have dead skin on my heels. I'm sure she wasn't happy dealing with my big man feet. This was just bad. I paid right after getting the mani and just couldn't wait to get out of there, so badly I completely forgot to give her the $10 bucks I pulled aside after I paid for everything. I just wanted to leave that badly. I feel guilty because I suspect they work for tips. Anyway I included a screen shot of the text messages. I hid their names but left the time stamps. I also have a pic of the wall from the place so you can see this isn't made up. And in that pic you see the very top of the lady's head who was torturing me. Regardless of all this. She deserves her privacy. They will read this and they will train her better. But holy crap. I'm never doing that again!!! If you're the owner. Train her. Don't fire her. Have her give the men in your life pedicures. She worked very hard. She was just clueless or she just broke up with her boyfriend and was seeking vengeance on men. What sums it up is I have a hang nail on my right ring finger. And my nails weren't filed properly. I have a hanging piece of nail on my left ring finger. My other nails are just not done well. I am going to have to file them myself or go to another salon and have them finish my mani pedi. read more

I come here WAYY too often. Everyone is very friendly! I get a manicure and pedicure. And they do a great job! No complaints as of yet. I have leaves in North Arlington now 2 years, best spot on the block. The pedicures are great, after they clean your nails the massage your leg with a rock. Feels great. You can now tip on the card, which is ok. I still prefer to give the ladies cash. They have a little rewards point system, so once you get to 10 you get $6 off. See you soon! read more

She took time to make sure that all of my nails were even and that my nails were perfectly smooth. Unfortunately, they did not have a white for the powder, so I went for this light blue/ green. Much better experience the 2nd time around!!!! As you can tell, I don't really write reviews but when I do its because I feel the need to. First time i went i did a full set acrylic for my friends wedding. The lady that did them (dont remember her name but she was heavy set and was sitting in the first seat when you come in next to the owner) rushed through it and missed some spots. On top of that she left them really thick and it didnt look natural. I also didn't think she was very nice. She seemed bothered about everything. I asked for my nails short and she sucked her teeth and told me "I didn't need tips, just to wrap my nails with acrylic". Like how am i suppose to know these things. She asked me "what color" like 5 times and each time I'm like "I haven't really looked". She was working on my hands when she gave me the box full of gel colors. I dont know how she thought it would be possible to pick a color without hands. 2nd visit was waaaaay better. That lady wasn't there and I did my nails with Mia. She took her time and made sure my nails looked the same. She even asked me if I wanted them short without me even asking. It's like she could tell I like my nails short. I love the way she did them and to think I was going to go somewhere else. I also got a pedicure. The lady that did my toes was very nice. She didn't seem like she had a lot of experience doing pedicures cause of the way she filed my nails but it didn't really bother me because she was so sweet. The reason why I didn't give them 5 stars was not only because of the first experience but because they are very pricey. I paid $65 for a full set acrylic w/ color gel, not including tip. The 2nd time I paid $65 and it was for a filling, color gel, and pedí. However, if your doing your nails with Mia or Lee (the owner) than its worth it. I WILL BE BACK TO SEE MIA!!! Keep in mind when going that they are Asian and the ladies that do pedicures are either Asian or Hispanic. They may not understand you very much but they are pleasant and they try their very best. I really wanted to like this place so I went twice and that was twice too many. It is convenient to where I lived and the first time I went for a gel mani and regular pedi. They don't do a very good job a either as both my hands and feet didn't feel very soft or pampered (each service performed by different ladies, the gel by a younger Asian lady and the pedi by an older lady that I thought may be the owner)...result was that I felt like I went there for a polish change. The second time I went to remove the previous gel and get a new color. I was serviced by another heavier Asian lady and she just wouldn't let the acetone do it's job, and kept unwrapping the foil and "remove" the gel but was literally taking chunks/peeling my own nails. I asked her to please leave the foil with acetone a little longer because I have thin nails and she literally left them like 30 more seconds and still did whatever the F she wanted. She filed a couple of the nails so much they are paper thin and weak now. She proceeded to apply 3 coats of color gel to one hand and 4 coats to the other(not counting the base and top gel coats). I think she was trying to cover the damage she cause by making the nails appear thicker but it made it worst since the gel started to wrinkle. I asked her about it and she just nodded (as if "I got it" and is "fixing" it) and apply even for gel to smooth it out. Needless to say the shape of the nails as way off, looking very bulky at the tip and 4 days later the big bump ripped since it created a bubble. I just don't like the halfass rushed job they do, if you messed up fixed it well, and please care for the health of the nails of your customer. Nothing used was sanitized, they didn't soak the hands before touching the cuticles. I have no idea how these people have a license. This is supposed to be a business for nail care, pampering, so take care of the customer and be delicate with the nails dammit...this not factory assembly line where to patch things together.....never again. read more

Amazing!! :) I needed a quick last minute manicure & pedicure. Called at 6:50 pm and they said sure come in. Got to the salon at 7:00 pm and I just left at 7:35 dried and everything! She even put the oil on my toes and nails. $25 Mon-Thurs! They did not rush and took their time doing my nails, scrubbed, and massaged. What a horrible experience. I am new to the area (from jersey city) I figured I'd give my new neighborhood a try. Worst mistake. I walk in and no one greets me. I just sat and waited until finally someone confirmed my appointment. Go for my pedicure. The floor is wet. I ask for callus eliminator. That alone was 10$ extra. As soon as i sit down she tells me to not put my feet in the water. Uhhh shouldn't my feet soak first? Whatever. She puts it. Does my cuticles which hurt like hell because she kept digging. I had to tell her something. Then after the callus remover is done she throws the tool in the water (where my feet are) and it hits me. I was pisst at this point. My feet feel the same way as when I came in. 30$ on the worst pedicure I've ever had and bs customer service. Needless to say, save your money. This place isn't worth the chance. read more

I only let Maria do my pedicures because she is phenomenal. All the staff is so friendly and you are guaranteed to leave this place overly satisfied! Oh and only mine after the 1 of only 2 techs finished somone else's mani. So when my gel mani was finally finished 2 hours after my appointment, I figured okay at least well both get our pedicures together and get out of here. Then someone else walked in and I realized that I would have to wait for my friends pedicure to get mine done. So I chose against the pedicure obviously. Went here today with my mom to get acrylic fill ins with gel and had a great experience. My mom had Lee and I had Mia and they were both fabulous!!! My mom and I have tried so many different nail salons trying to find our go-to spot, and all other places have failed besides this one! I think we finally found our spot. Both Lee and Mia listen to exactly what you want. I showed Mia a picture of what I wanted and she did it perfectly. They both shape your nails exactly how you want and always ask you to make sure they are ok. They check every angle of the nail to make sure they are all even and perfect. I just moved to North Arlington and needed a place to get my nails done. I checked Yelp up and down for a place to go and came upon NBB. I didn't know their prices, but because of all the mostly positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Mia for a fill, eyebrows, and a pedicure. I showed up for my appointment at 9:30 and was seen at about 9:40, which is fine. Mia was very meticulous about doing my nails. She spent a lot of time on them - over an hour for just an acrylic fill. I'd much rather that than someone who is trying to rush through it. And I was such a loyal customer to my old nail salon that I was nervous to try a new place out. My nails really needed some TLC and she definitely took care of them. I got charged $55 for my nails - acrylic fill with a color gel. This seems really pricey to me because it was hard to tell what my service was based on their price list - Mia mumbled something about having to fix two nails, but if an acrylic fill is priced at $35, and a color gel fill is priced at $30, where did she get $55?) Also, repairs are not on their price list, so that seems odd to me, as well. Then I got a pedicure. I'm not sure if their pedicurist (a young hispanic woman/teenager(?)) has a license, because I didn't recognize her picture on their wall by the other licenses. She did a great job. She complimented my tattoo and when I wanted her to pay closer attention to my heels, she did. She spoke limited English, which was fine. She is such a hard worker because I was there a total of 2 and a half hours, and she did not stop doing pedicures the whole time I was there. Inexpensive pedicure too! Then my eyebrows were standard. Nothing outrageously great or wrong with that. Overall, I paid $85 for this service. Plus on the back of their business cards, if you fill it out 10 times, on your 11th visit, you get $6 off, which is great. Overall, I was impressed and happy and will be going back. read more

My experience was mediocre. My manicurist was inexperienced and the chairs were well used (as in replacements need to be ordered!). Polish job looked like I did it at home so not terrible but not professional looking either. They clean with regular over the counter multipurpose cleaners not the appropriate disinfectants. They asked me to leave because it was "too late" and a tips appointment walked in after me. All this after talking about me in front of me and having me sit down.
