Love love love this place. Owned by a husband and wife who are super friendly and always helpful. The wife makes some Philippino dishes on the weekend which sell out fairly quickly. Let's first start with the young lady who took our order and prepared it. She was very friendly and easy going. Explained all of the food choices answered all of our questions. She then prepared the order fresh. It takes a little time and is very worth the wait. It was cold outside so we sat in the truck and had our meal. My wife had chicken with garlic rice, order of noodles and her specialty items with pork. I had shrimp, rice and shrimp inside her specialty. The food was delicious. The whole experience was very pleasant and we had a very good, nutritious meal and will most definitely be returning for another visit. Great flavor cooked perfectly. read more

Such a cute and clean store! Stopped to buy some more hot ramen. The five packs for the hot ones with the chicken are only about $7. The owners are so sweet and friendly too. We had to try their tea. I had the Thai tea and bf had coconut and we were both in love. I asked if they made food, and they said not yet. Wish we were around when they made food in their old location, it looked amazing!! We will definitely stop back when we come back to town. This was a pleasant find! read more

The owners were very nice and personable! I mainly came here for the halo halo which was delicious. Since I was there, I bought a few items to take home. I wish I had a cooler with me because I would've bought a bunch more! They recently moved to a new location and will hopefully open their kitchen in October. I'll try to visit then to eat some of their Filipino food. Right now, they have boba tea, halo halo, and one dish. read more

Amazing place with a whole bunch of amazing varieties great prices, and very, very friendly

Maybe I'm biased because of my Filipino heritage, but this little gem in Cookeville is worth stopping by! I appreciate small mom-pop shops as well. Location-wise, it's located in a tiny shopping center. This mini Asian supermarket has a lot of your favorite Asian/Filipino snacks, canned goods, and condiments. They even have a selection of frozen foods as well. Of course my boyfriend and I were excited to find our favorite childhood Filipino snacks, but we were even more surprised to find a cute little Filipino restaurant in the back! At first l was a little confused since I didn't see a menu, but apparently the owner's wife posts the "menu of the day" on the store's Facebook page. After chatting with her, she said she makes a different lunch every day. We had the chicken lumpia and also one order of chicken adobo wings, served with rice. Everything was so yum and tasted like home! We will definitely be back :) read more

Remarkable grocery store tucked into the south side of Cookeville. Truly a hidden gem that I hope more and more folks discover. Their selection spans the globe, not only from the Philippines but represents cuisine and food culture from all over Asia. They select products with care and change up their stock from time to time to add new, so go back often to discover new ingredients, treats, and items. It's not all canned and dry goods either. I've gotten fresh vegetables like baby bok choy, bean sprouts, Asian pears, persimmons, Thai eggplants, and authentic kimchi. So many frozen seafood options for cooking incredible dishes. The boba tea they prepare is so tasty with a wide variety of combinations to choose from - best is to order ahead through their Facebook Messenger, which they're extremely responsive to. I love the lunch meals they sell also - incredible cooking: home-cooked taste with professional quality in big portions. Order ahead - they sell out! Here is a review for you..we are on vacation at the beach last summer and my 12 year old son and wife and I are having a discussion about family ..my youngest has never really had "REAL" grandparents. Out of the blue he says. You know who i would like to have as grandparents. I say Who. He says the owners of the little Asian market. This store is a treasure! My wife and I found it by accident searching for the hours of a certain other Asian market in Cookeville. Not only does this place have rare and hard to find Asian cuisine ingredients and cooking items, Rose is in the back cooking up a storm in a spotless and tidy kitchen! We had an incredible lunch of grilled pork skewers with her homemade spicy BBQ sauce and white rice and then spent an hour just looking over the shelves at the various and exotic items. We stocked up and are going back again soon. I HIGHLY recommend this store for anyone looking for authentic mixed Asian and Philippine items. read more
