The park is small, but well maintained and clean. The palm tree lined walking path is wide and flat. Nice playground. The beach is a short walk over -- just follow the sand. :) We ventured into the neighborhood behind the park to check out the lovely homes, each with their own personality. The people were so friendly to wave and say 'hi' as we walked by. There's two good size parking areas -- pay to park machines are easy to find.

Literally, when we got past the sand dune, and the view of the waves opened up, her jaw dropped and her wagging tail was in overdrive. Bring water because there is a water fountain but it's always warm water. I also recommend wearing a helmet when u skate because the police roll up sometimes and give tickets to people who ride without a helmet. Not the place to go with children under 10. It's relatively small but great skating otherwise, bring skate wax because the copings aren't grindable without it. Happy Skating

The park also has a deep bowl maybe 8 foot deep I'm not 100% sure but it looks legit. Parking,water and toilets are next to the park as well shops, restaurants . The park also has lights at night . She was passive aggressive and rude and even made my 10 year old feel dumb for asking innocent questions and kid would ask, would be great if a knowledgeable staff member worked there , maybe someone who was passionate about skateboard history and was excited to show off their amazing collection. We felt awkward , unwelcome and like we were annoying her just being there. Which is a bummer because we drove an hour (after flying from seattle ) just to visit.

The park is spacious with table & benches, they also have men & women's restrooms, jungle gym & swings for the young kids, a skate park for the teenagers, & a softball field for the adults who feel like starting a game. While the park is a little out of the way for west end residents, I'd personally make the drive. A clean, beautiful park set up for everyone's entertainment, what's not to love?
