They had a full stock in every size of Jean which is what I went in for and I was not expecting to find my size in the jeans I wanted but I did! I haven't been inside a Levi store in YEARS! Right now they have a sale in the back with additional 50% off already reduced prices. I found a hella cute denim puffy jacket org. 200$ something but now 47$, but I was fighting everything I got to not purchase it. I'm a baller on a budget right now. Anyways, the store was nice and clean, all staff that I ran into was nice and provided great customer service. Everyone had a smile on their face and happy to help! Like WHAT? Are they okay? Are they being held hostage? NOPE! They're just freaking amazing human beings love working there, I guess, lol. But for real, who REALLY exceeded my customer service expectations was GENARO (spelling? Please be right!) because he was INCREDIBLE! He answered all my questions about the patches and embroidery. I had no idea Levi's stores, even though he's kind of customization. I felt bad because he was working, but he would turn around and stop sewing just to answer my questions!!! I mean I hope the managers know how amazing and sweet this gentleman is! I really appreciate him taking the time to answer my questions and I just love the vibe he gave so if you're manager of the store you need to give that talented man a raise! I told one of the managers (Gloria) about him and she pointed me to do a survey which I have completed so I could get another 20% off on my purchase as well. This is a fun store with a lot more selection and services than a local mall store. This Levi's store sells Japanese denim and a full tailor shop (alterations, embroidery, and patches). The store also has unique San Francisco merchandise. The one thing that really stood out was the white tarp over the sign. I thought they were permanently closed. However the tarp was Levi's leaning into a social media trend making fun of the tarp over the Levi's logo at Levi's Stadium during the World Cup. read more

You'd think as well known and having a flagship store in the city, and the mayor as the heir of this company, this place would have some customer service pride. But naw, the website is suprisingly janky. It directs you to the outlets as much as the main store. You call customer service and it's all Indian based, with folks not able to access to help you with your account. I tried buying 2 pairs of jeans and over a week, and no matter what I did, I could not get them no matter what I did. I made an order, they cancel it, tried a different account they cancel it. Went in just to browse but looked at a lot of jeans, T-shirts, hats and a couple of bags on display. Some deals that were on sale were outerwear for 30% off, which sort of made sense because it's Spring leading in to Summer. Mens's Clearance was in a section behind the cash register which I was surprised to see items in my size, I just didn't have room in my luggage to bring home new clothes. When I went to ring up my item, the sales associate asked me for my email address to receive 10% off today's purchase! The staff were very nice and helpful. My great great grand uncle is rolling in his grave. I lost a bit of weight recently: 36 waists are falling off me and a 34 waist is too tight. The experience with such great staff makes the shopping experience that much better. With a very visible store front, I decided to revisit this long standing company. I was not disappointed. When you walk in, the Levi's Tailor Shop has many colorful, unique patches to sell & they offer Same Day Service for: -Buttons, Tabs, Back Patch Swap, Monograms & even Standard Hems Off to the right is Women's clothing & on the Left Men's Clothing offering jackets, jeans, shirts, sweat pants,Sweat shirts & even some vests,sweaters & accessories. It was fun to look at the side slings & to get one at half off. At the end of the store was a discounted section, I ended up buying the side sling bag & Big Sur sweat pants. The quality of both items are impressive. What I also learned by speaking to a sales clerk or possibly a manager was that because it is a flag shop store they will carry items not sold on-line to give it a uniqueness to this shopping experience. Overall, love the helpful, cheerfulness of the staff at Levi's SF, I will definitely be back. read more

Its a nice store, but prices are way marked up compared to stores that sell other Levi's products. When I'm in the area, I always like to browse the store looking for new levi jeans/jackets, then buying them elsewhere lol. Store itself: Clean, bright, cool, and hip one can say. Very neat interior which is always nice. As I know many of us have seen department stores messy as all can be, this store is always neat. Lots of clothes both for men/women. Sadly not alot of jackets, even when it's winter... has a custom jean tailoring pickup area which is cool. Service: Not much. There was a "door greeter" and the rest of the employees were seen chatting away at the registers, and not offering guests service. Which is s big Downside. Overall: A great place to browse when looking for Levis items in person, but other than that, too much of a markup to justify buying items from here vs other department stores. read more

What happened to the brand? What happened to the store? What a sad and abrupt change to the whole company... they lowered the quality, raised their prices, discontinued LVC, Made & Crafted, shrink to fit... not to mention jeans without any stretch has become nearly impossible to find. I haven't been to the store on Market Street in a while and it was sad to see the disconnection between the brand and the sellers. I couldn't find one item that I wanted to buy and the clothes are targeted to a very young crowd, as if they would buy those clothes? They look cheap, tacky and poorly made. RIP, Levi's! read more

Coming out of the pandemic, slim fit jeans just ain't cutting it anymore. Style wise, and fit wise, the trend of baggier, looser fitting clothes is back and my thighs couldn't be happier. This is their flagship store, and they had all the latest styles. I settled on the 502 flex tapers, and these were hella comfortable, fit well, and worked perfect with the style of Nike sneakers I was trying to match with. They have a FREE Levi's Red Tab membership, where you get 20% off your first purchase. I ended up buying 2 pairs to take advantage of the discount. Jeans are so hard to buy online, and nothing compares to being able to try them on in-person and not having to worry about if they fit or not. They have a tailor shop, and the cashier had mentioned that my first hem is free. What I found out when I went to the tailor shop, is that if you purchase at a discount, the hem isn't free, it must be a full price purchase. This wasn't explained to me, but they were kind enough to comp one of the hems. There's two types of hems, a basic ($15) and a higher end one ($20). Getting the right length is important, so for me it's worth the extra price. The turnaround time was week for the hem to be completed. This weekend I learned that not all Levi's are created equal. I would typically go to Macy's for jeans because they usually got a deal running, but I learned that the quality isn't the same compared to buying direct from Levi's. Levi's premium is just a marketing tool, it's about the quality. Levi's premium will be softer, has more stitches per inch, more consistent sizing, just to name a few. They are slightly more expensive, but I think for something that will be worn on a regular basis, I believe spending a little more is worth it compared to fast fashion stores. read more

Wow this store is AWFUL. The store associates were not helpful and looked like they didn't want to be there. They were bad at explaining things and asking questions seemed like it was pulling teeth. I'm also confused about the tailoring service. Apparently you have to pay $20-30 to get your Levi's hemmed if you buy them online and bring them in the store. Even if you buy from Levi's directly, I'm not talking about a retailer like Macys. But hemming is free if you purchase in store. Is this not all the same company? Compare this to a modern company like lululemon where you can bring in anything lululemon and they can hem it all, for FREE. I'm sorry but Levi's is just missing the mark now and feels like a dated company. read more

Customer service is key to any retail business these days. If you piss people off, they will remember it... FOREVER. So, good thing no one pissed me off here. The staff are very friendly... not helpful... but friendly enough :) I came in for the Hello Kitty collab collection. I bought a denim tote with HK on it. So cute. Then I came back in 2 more times and ended up buying matching personalized HK t-shirts for me and my niece. That process was very fun! You stand in front of the giant tablet. Select your t-shirt design. Type in your name. If you don't like it, you start all over again. After you hit submit, you go up to the cashier and pay for your shirts and take the ticket back to the personalization section. I am visiting from Florida and spent the day shopping. I stumbled upon Levi's on Market St and went in to browse. I found a pair of 501's and decided to try them on. Armando was working the fitting room area. He greeted me, walked me to a room, and then we went on a journey together. I started with the 501's but with Armando's expertise, I was trying on a variety of styles and fits I never thought would work for me. I think Armando brought me at least six or seven pairs of jeans total. Armando was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I really appreciate his attention to detail. At the end of my fitting room experience, he noticed I was waiting in line and hopped on the register to provide an expedited check-out. Bonus points, big time!!! The next time I am in San Francisco, I'll be coming back to pay Armando and the Levi's store a visit. read more

The designs in this store are stuck in the 90's. I'm sure they think they are cute and retro, but they are just ugly. Over the past 20 years the quality of Levi's has really fallen off. Love the fact that this Levi's Store is still front and center and every time I go they usually carry all the exclusive collections Levi's has going on at a certain time. As well as most of the amazing vintage collection that is expensive and hard to find elsewhere. They also have a full tailor station and places to grab things like new patches, buttons and accessories for your current items. I grabbed a few patches for my denim jacket and some of them are iron-on and easy to use. Just a tip if you want to take some things in to be altered or worked on in-store make sure you check with them to see how many days/weeks it will take as they get a ton of requests. read more

I brought my denim jacket in September to the tailor shop on Market St to be customized for my October wedding. A girl only wears a bridal gown once, so I knew I wanted something special that I could wear over and over again. I walked in off the street with a vision in my head. After meeting with head embroiderer Melanie, and glancing through previous artwork, we decided on a design within my designated price point. And boy, did Melanie deliver! My jacket was ready within a week and a half and I have not stopped wearing it since. The jacket got as much love as my dress the day of our wedding - and I couldn't be happier to have this bespoke piece. Not as much selection compared to what's available online. There might be 10 or so washes for the 501 cropped on the website, not on sale, but you'll only see 3 in store and the lengths are limited. You can try on the style in store and purchase online for more selections. Definitely try them on; the sizing is very inconsistent between different styles and material. Recently I discovered another clearance section not in the room towards the back with all the hanging clothes, but folded on shelves by the fitting rooms. Some of these seem like returns, there's a couple vintage selections in the sale section as well. These are already heavily discounted and sometimes they have 50% off sale item promotions which brings the total price down by a lot, $20 for a pair of premium quality 100% cotton Levi's is a steal. read more

I entered the store with no expectations or research about the product and ended up finding the exact pair that suited my body. Upon entering I was immediately was greeted by a friendly face who asked me what I was looking for. Charlotte assisted me in aligning my preferred style with my shape and was so knowledgeable that she knew the exact style to fit my preferences off the bat. I went shopping at the Levi outlet in Livermore the other day and made a few purchases. Unfortunately for me, I should have tried everything on. I mistakenly grabbed the wrong size in a pair of 501 Jeans. Rather than go all the way back to Livermore, I want to the SF location for an exchange. The Sales associate told me I had to pay the difference because I bought the jeans at the outlet, $40. I could not believe it, I just wanted to get my size, I wasn't returning them. Because I didn't pay full price at the Outlet, you're going to make me pay the difference for a simple exchange? It's not like you won't be able to sell the jeans at full price! It's so ridiculous, I know it's my fault for not trying them on, but let me exchange them! read more

Great store. So many options... Customer service can be kind of smothering but the employees are everywhere, there are lots of them and they are willing to help you out. I was a little bummed that when I looked for my Hesher style jeans that neither the sales associate or the manager knew what I was talking about. I had bought a couple of pairs when the Levi's store was still at the Union Square location but sadly they couldnt help me out. I did score some denim from the Made & Crafted section on sale at a steal of a price. $37 out the door for some Levi's Made & Crafted jeans?!? Yes, please... Thank you Levi's... Why did you take down all the Levi's x 49ers collabo products? I have the jacket with gold sleeves & I wanted to see the others.... Oh well. Next time... I love this location as it seems to be the only Levi's store in the Bay Area to carry selvedge (Japanese denim) jeans. I bought 2 pairs of jeans over the past few months. They have a decent selection of sizes for selvedge jeans. I usually check on their website to see what they actually have in stock and then I try it out at the store. As iconic San Francisco brand and staple deserves an awesome store like this! Levi's is pretty much my favorite clothing brand, so it's always fun to pay this store a visit. First of all, the decor is super cool, trendy, and inviting. If you are looking for something Levi's, it's probably in this store! They sell everything from your standard 501s to super premium, expensive selvedge denim, and everything in between. They also have some pretty good sales every now and then. I was there last weekend because I was lucky enough to win the raffle and purchase a pair of the awesome Levi's x Jordan IV! The staff had a super organized shoe purchase procedure set up which made everything easy. The whole staff was/is extremely helpful and friendly as well. I never leave reviews but this is ridiculous 3 SEPARATE TIMES I have rushed to this store from work in order to make it before closing and 3 SEPARATE TIMES the store manager decided to just close early lock the doors with hours clearly visible. The first time was 20 minutes early the following 2 were over half an hour early. I was just trying to exchange a pair of jeans was told "we already counted out the register sorry" and turned away. It's not easy to make it over and a lot of folks are still very anxious in person shopping and make specific plans to venture out. It's unacceptable. read more
