We booked the cleaning for 3 man hours but it only took 30 minutes for two people to clean. When they arrived to clean my apartment I had let them know that they needed to clean everything outlined on the scope of work, and that they did not need to clean the fridge/freezer. They asked if it was a move-out cleaning and I said yes. I've attached some photos of the cleaning service received which show the place as not being cleaned. In addition to this, when I informed Prince of the service I received he blamed me for not reviewing the cleaners work and also not advising them that it was a move out cleaning (which I did inform them, and it was also noticeable given there was nothing left in my apartment).

My previous cleaner just retired so I was looking for a new one, and I reached out to get a quote from Cleaning4U. I have a ~500 sq ft apartment, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. It's a small apartment that my previous cleaners (who worked alone) did full housekeeping and cleaning themselves in 2 - 3 hours, and would cost generally $100 or less (maybe a bit over if there was some more to do that day). So tell me why Cleaning4U came back to me with a quote of 3 Cleaners for 1.5h, $40/h each, for $180 + 5% GST + 2.99% if you're paying by card (so would be basically $200 total). AND THAT'S ONLY FOR SURFACE CLEANING. It's $30 extra for cleaning inside appliances. The list of services provided didn't even go into organizing the fridge, closets, or anything along those lines. JUST surface cleaning. I took one look and laughed out loud at the sheer audacity of how ridiculous that quote was. It really feels like they're trying to scam people who don't know any better. Literally right after responding back telling them no way jose I got a call from another company who wanted to give me a quote. The other company quoted me 2 cleaners, 1 hour, total of less than $100, and their list of services included fridge cleaning, closet organization, and a bunch of other stuff. Their cleaners are hard working, yes; I would never fault the staff for trying their best under less than ideal circumstances. However, the turnover is unreal with this company now, and their longest-lasting employees only stay a year. That tells you something about how valued they feel! Furthermore, without any continuity in monthly deep cleans, I'm finding that I have to retrain a new team every month to get to know my place, and efficiency is compromised. After my last clean (with yet another brand new team), I was told they would need 4 hours to deep clean my townhouse moving forward, even though previous teams (from this company and others) all did it in 3, 3.5 max in almost 4 years since I've lived here. This was after the teams who knew our home had all quit. So now they were telling me I had to pay up more, so that their less-efficient newbie teams could learn how to clean my place. I would have even sucked it up, honestly, but with less than 24 hours before my scheduled clean tomorrow, I got a call today telling me (not asking me, TELLING ME) that they were coming at a different time and would be sending a different team than the one that we had agreed upon when I called. Hired FreshOne for apartment move out cleaning and was quoted 3 hours plus an additional fee for…read morefridge/oven cleaning. I was out of town for the clean so instructed them to call the landlord for entry. I received a call at 9 am from the cleaners to gain entry to the unit, so I asked them again to call the landlord for entry, and a phone call at 12:30 pm informing me they had finished. All fine. THEN I received my payment receipt on which had an additional 1.5 hour charge on it (which I never authorized!). I called the company, they said that the cleaners had requested to stay for extra time + a 3rd cleaner to clean faster and that the landlord had authorized this. I told him that the landlord was not the client, I was the credit card holder, and it should have been authorized by me but I never even got a phone call. My landlord denies authorizing the additional time/cleaner. I requested the company refund the full 1.5 hour charge refunded as I never authorized it, but was only offered a partial $30 refund + $15 gift card. I never received the refund or gift card and the company stopped responding to me. I would strongly recommend not using this company or, at the very least, not providing them with your credit card information before the cleaning as you will find unauthorized charges on your card!
