Final Draught is like my second home. This place is less of a bar and more of a traditional pub. Friends gather here to catch up and enjoy each other's company over a drink. They typically have 23 taps going and the beer is constantly being rotated through so what you see today might be very different tomorrow. If you can't find something interesting on tap, there are several well-stocked coolers with everything from sodas to sparkling wines and beer to seltzer drinks. The service is exceptional. You'll be greeted like an old friend even if it's your first time. The food menu isn't huge, but what's there is fantastic. Definitely quality over quantity. Tri-tip sandwiches, giant pretzels with cheese, flatbreads, and killer meal-sized salads await you. Everything is made to order and, like the best things in life, you may need to wait a few extra minutes. It's absolutely worth the wait, though. Tuesday nights they host bingo and on Thursday nights it's trivia . The place can be very busy so plan accordingly. It's very family friendly and kids are welcome (again, think pub, not bar). We were here for trivia night and it was great! There were 18 teams so it was very packed. I grabbed a nitro stout from the fridge as their dark beers on tap are lacking - I would love to see a Lead Dog option! The bartender was nice and check out process was smooth. We also ordered a pretzel for the table and it was great! I loved that the cheese cup wasn't dinky and there was even leftover cheese at the end. It is a classic brewery - it was very cold inside which was crazy since there was a lot of people. I couldn't imagine how chilly it would be empty. Overall, I will be stopping by! English is my native language, but I have no clue how to pronounce "draught." The internet says it's "draft," but if one says it like that while making plans with folks, they might enter "final draft" into Google map and never arrive. Confusion over this establishment's name is my only complaint: otherwise, this place is great. I love the open-air, industrial chic vibe. It's such a welcome contrast to so many drinking-and-gathering establishments in Sparks/Spanish Springs, which are more dark and cluttered and cozy. In the COVID era, I want to go places where the air flow seems especially unimpeded. Drinks: there are so many options. There's a great selection on draft. There's five fridges worth of canned options, including some bottles of bubbly and non-alcoholic beverages. Final Draught has such a wide range of all the beers canned by the many local breweries. You don't have to drive into town to get Lead Dog or Pigeon Head or Revision cans from their locations, because you can get them all here. Final Draught also makes cocktails, which are reasonably priced while still having complex flavor profiles. I appreciate that they also have bar finger food, like nachos. This is a perfect place to drink and to be sociable. It's one large room with plenty of seating and still plenty of space to social distance. The bar top at the back of the room is long and plentiful with lots of helpful staff behind the counter to help you pick one or more of the many beers that have on tap (or bottle!) They serve food as well but I didn't order any so I can't attest to the quality, however the beers we ordered were reasonable priced and tasty. Let me start off by saying, it's pretty hard to find really great and unique beers in this area. But Final Draught not only delivers in that department, but exceeds any and all hope. Though I've never had their food, I have heard it is quite delicious. It is a welcoming atmosphere with great vibes and great beer. I've visited a few times, but let me tell you about today's visit: It was about an hour BEFORE they opened, and I just happened to be in the area for work. Since I'm rarely on that side of town (I live in Washoe Valley), I took a chance and knocked on the door because I saw people moving around. They opened the door, and I told them I just wanted to buy some bottles/cans. They welcomed me in and even gave me some delicious recommendations! I told the nice lady that rang me up that we wanted to come there sometime for the food but haven't because we have two littles. She said bring them too! To the wonderful lady that helped me, thank you so much! The wife LOVED the Fuitality. And as always thank you for carrying the Drekker Royal Bee, it's a favorite of mine because of you guys! The Mrs. And I plan on coming there for our next date night...if we can find a sitter. Lol! FD is a great place for a drink... especially if you like beer. They are starting to offer more cocktail options as well which is great. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, nothing fancy- which is great when you just want to have a drink and chat with friends. Think "Cheers" off Sparks Blvd LOL. What a great find! I'd never heard of this place until I saw them mentioned on FB and I'm so glad I did. Huge, clean location with lots of parking. We went during the shelter in place period so they had a lot of extra safety protocols in place. Hand sanitizer, employees wearing masks, fewer tables, and a clever and simple red card/green card system for ensuring tables are disinfected before anyone else uses them. They had an incredible beer/cider selection and some wines, too. Also some fun bottled sodas for the kiddos. We ordered three different flatbreads for the table. They were quite tasty and satisfying! We got Buffalo Chicken, cheese and pepperoni. All really good. We'll definitely be back! read more

Went to visit this spot on a Tuesday. It was Bingo night and it was the best night on our first day visiting. We meet former NorCal folks who choose to retire in Reno/Sparks, and hasn't regretted it. I've been to Final Draught a couple times pre-quarantine. I meant to write a review, but hadn't yet. With these crazy times, I've only been out very minimally, and this was only my 2nd time getting food to go. I had seen Final Draught's Facebook posts and I was really wanting the Korean Beef Tacos. Today I gave in and ordered them. Final Draught is in my neck of the woods; very close to home. I decided to order a takeout kit and headed that way. I made a stop to order online, but the website says they are closed Monday. I decided to just drive there. I'm very glad I did as they have changed their hours to accommodate customers during this time. They are open for food orders (and alcohol with food purchase) every night until 6. Such nice, wonderful service! They are truly happy to be open and serving. I really love supporting local, small businesses...and I really hope a bunch of you do as well. The kit is enough to make 12 mini tacos...or so. I got home and heated the beef (1 minute in the microwave was good) and the tortillas in a pan. I put my tacos together as recommended, but I put 2 pickles and ran out. No matter...these are delicious! The cabbage provides a perfect crunch, the spicy beef is perfect with the salty kimchi pickle and tangy sauce. This was exactly what I was hoping for! Very satisfying and inexpensive. This is a great meal for 2...or 2 meals for one! I highly recommend checking this place out. They have a few meal kits available as well as their full food menu to go. I can't wait to try more, and I'm really looking forward to going there after quarantine. read more

So, this place is kind of hard to define. As the name implies, it is a place that serves beer and that is what it does best, with a constantly rotating selection of around 20 beers on tap plus coolers full. Most are brews I've never heard of from breweries I've never heard of, which is a good thing. Just don't ask for a Bud Light as my brother in law once did. He may as well cut a fart for the look he got from the bartender. And for a place that is centered around serving alcohol, there are always a bunch of small children in there. Which I never realized how weird that was until being around it. Want to introduce your kids to the behaviors of drunken adults? This is a good place to do it. They also serve food, which is of the food truck variety. Very cheap and small portions. For example, the Cuban sandwich is indeed ham and pickle, but served on a white roll and very plainly dressed with just dijon and served in a plain white food truck tray. It was good but you would need 2 to make it a meal. Fries are not included and apparently you have to ask for those as the tender will not let you know. I've read quite a few reviews saying how fantastic the service is here but I always find it kind of meh but your mileage may vary. The biggest compliant is the events that occur here. You really have to call before you show up because of the 6 times I've tried to go here on the weekends, I've had to walk right back out the door because the place is filled with a seems like a party that booked the place out or some other sort of event or gathering. Which sucks, because there is maybe 2 other options for an evening hangout in the area. Bottom line is that this place is damn good for beer afficianados depending on the day and time you show up but don't expect outstanding ambiance, service or food. read more

So my husband and I live around the corner from this bar and decided to give it a try. We ordered Sour Amaretto's and the bartender took foreeeeever to make them- told us after that they added an egg in there (way too fancy for me lol) so for our refill we asked for no eggs, thinking we'd get them faster but nope, took forever too! We also tried their Pulled Pork Coleslaw Sandwich (don't know if that's the actual name) and it was really good! In fact, my husband and I agreed that that's probably all we'll come back for lol and we'll ask for it to go! Also, our bartender told us this is a COP bar so they had a lot of regulars to tend to. Always a ton of great beers on tap and even more in their coolers to take home! Often I'll stop by for a beer on my way home from work on Fridays to get my weekend started and I am always greeted by a smiling, friendly server ready to pour me a pint. They have a small food menu, flatbread pizzas being one of their specialties. They're always great compliment to whatever I am drinking. There's TVs for sports and they will even use a projector on one of their walls for big sporting events. FD will continue to be my favorite weekend kick-off spot! read more

Atmosphere - Part of a strip mall complex. The art working is slowly going up on those tall white walls. Beer themed of course. This a big bar and the place was packed for the Grand Opening. I am glad they are doing well. A good mix of places to sit, of course a counter top bar, with hop tables, and so half booth half chair tables. Of course tops of taps, and two fridges of bottles and cans of beer. Food Drink - Well it is a Shoe Tree tap take over today. And the guys from Shoe Tree including Paul their head brewer were here today. So I went with Shoe Tree's OI!PA, this was the beer Shoe Tree created for their Punktoberfest. Talking with Paul the Punktoberfest was a big success and they will be having the event next year. Service - I ordered my beer from Shelby, the owner, at the bar. I also finally got to me Brent H. another Reno Beer Enthusiast, a Facebook beer group. Of course I had to talk to Paul from Shoe Tree, thanks for the free t-shirt.
