We've been ordering from this bakery for more than two years now and I always love coming back. We have a family with mixed diets (some are vegan, some are not) and it's so nice to know we can all get something tasty from the same place. Their vegan cakes are very rich, which I know isn't everyone's preference, but I love them. My personal favorite so far is the vegan chocolate pound cake. The old fashioned pound cake is amazing as well. We've given a few out to our neighbors as gifts around the holidays. Everyone LOVES them! We recently placed an order for Easter and received a box of free Easter cookies. They were so cute I almost didn't want to eat them (but I'm glad I did!) Can't wait for the next holiday. When I tell you that this bakery has the best key lime cheesecake that I've ever tasted! I'll get to that soon... I ordered a chicken cheesesteak sandwich that was very good. It came with melted provolone, peppers and mushrooms on a toasted wheat roll and it was so fresh and tasty. They even upgraded my drink for free. First off, let me say this: I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt; however, I can't. First of all, buttercream icing, does not go on red velvet, and Keylime cupcakes!! I purchased a cupcake that had buttercream icing, and honestly it was not good. The cake was not like an airy, it was heavy and honestly, it tasted stale. I was not impressed at all. Cupcakes not what I was expecting them to be. I had a cupcake from this location before an I thought it was from the grocery store. The icing was hard and cake wasn't light and airy. I was given some today as a gift an it was the same thing. Hard icing, oily, and the red velvet didn't taste like red velvet. There customer service here is outstanding. I love the fact that everything is baked with 8 ingredients of less and this is a Black owned business. The Red Velvet cookie was soft, delicious and had buttercream in the middle (sorry it got eaten prior to pic). It was the perfect combination of sweetness and red velvet flavor. I would definitely come here again! They were running a special so we got 6 cupcakes for $14. read more

First let me say the owner is truly one of the nicest persons I've had the pleasure to interact with. He's the reason for the 2 stars. Unfortunately the desserts that I had, which included a couple cupcakes and a few cookies, were just not good. They were almost to the point of being so bad that you couldn't eat them. The cupcakes were so heavy and hard. I'm not sure what kind of flour or lifting agent they are using but, it's needs to be changed. Also the chocolate chip cookies were very very blond. They looked almost like a sugar cookie with chips added. They were not tasty either. I more than likely will not patronize this place again for desserts. But again the owner is a top class individual. I'm just so sorry I could not partake of the desserts. I wish them continued success. read more

I discovered this little shop driving home from Panola Mountain State Park as it's just a few miles from there. I tried their signature dessert, a cheesecake with red velvet cake cake on top and bottom. I'm not a cheesecake fan but I really liked this dessert. They cook everything on site, have a variety of cheesecakes, cake slices, cookies, cupcakes in the store. A friend ordered a cake for her husbands birthday and they really liked it. These bakers (a young couple with new baby) are so friendly and helpful. I've sent other friends there too as they are close by and the products are good quality. You need to check it out! read more

I love this bakery and Mr. Johnny and Miss Elizabeth, the owners. I have sketched or described how I'd like an ordered cake or iced sugar cookies to look and the end results have always been beyond amazing! For example: an OSU fan friend of mine was having a birthday. I ordered a 'smash'-sized cake and asked that the icing be their colors and a 70 on top. Miss Elizabeth added the OSU logo to the top of the cake! It covered the whole top of the cake and was so detailed and put the 70 on the side. I wish I'd taken a picture!! I can honestly say that I've never ordered or eaten anything from Final Kourse that disappointed me!! I'm trying to watch my weight so I like to get a slice of cake...lime is sooooo good....freeze it and then take little pieces from time to time...the lime cookies with icing in the middle...sigh...good thing it's past closing time as I'm writing this!! : )PS I just looked at the pictures and there is a picture of some sugar cookies I ordered for a baby shower with a 'princess' theme.
