Ok, my mother asked me to contact Ms. Wells so I can pick up the cake and that's what I did. I spoke to Ms.Wells and she gave me a address to pick up the cake at a Quick Trip with the address of 50 Willow Lane McDonough Ga. So, I'm thinking she doesn't have a physical business address and that she baked out of her home, which is ok, you have to start from somewhere. However, when she arrived to deliver the cake, she gave me a cake in a Aluminum pan with a Aluminum top to cover it. When I saw the cake, I did not want to judge it but my first thought was, that's unprofessional to deliver a cake in such a way. Ms. Wells introduced herself and so did I. She proceeded to show me the cake and I glanced at the cake. Ms. Well asked me was everything good and I responded yes. But understand, I did not thoroughly look over the cake because number one, we were in a Quick Trip parking lot and my thought process was, I can not really address any issues here because my mother ordered the cake and not me. Two, I was not going to put myself in any deplorable situation especially when it was not in a business friendly environment. I think we all know, things can go to left very quickly especially at gas stations. So, I left and when I got home, the cake was so messy, it was soggy, wet on top, the pineapples were placed unevenly, the cherries looked sunken down into the cake, there was no glaze on the cake, a piece of the cake was chipped off at the bottom, and a piece of the pineapple was missing a piece! I immediately took a picture of this and sent it to my mom! My mom called Ms.Wells and she had every excuse in the world why the cake looked the way it does! She did not want to compensate my mother in any way and she also told my mother she should of charged her a EXTRA 35 DOLLARS! This situation is DISGRACEFUL, DISTASTEFUL, DISGUSTING, and LOW KEY DISRESPECTFUL THE WAY IT WAS HANDLED!! We payed $100.00 for this cake, what do you all think?? If I could of GIVEN 0 STARS, I WOULD!!!
