We were given their business cards and told to call with any concerns - anytime; moreover, Mike was onsite every day checking the progress. Marcel, the supervisor, made certain that all went well. This company used several crews each specializing in a different aspect of the construction. There were men who tore off the old roof tiles and men who prepared the roof with the underlayment and the batten strips; still another crew came to install the new Eagle concrete tiles and paint the mortar on the ridge tiles. Mike surprised us by adding a decorative tile application at the front of the house. Beautiful! The men started on time and worked steadily - with no music blaring. Everyone was respectful of our time and property; everyone was polite and pleasant. At the end of each workday, all materials were neatly arranged in an inconspicuous area. When the roof was completed, our driveway was power-washed and our property left in immaculate condition. A good experience! Good people! Absolute professionalism at a fair price!

I had Bauman Builds recently do a Master Bath remodel. He told me that it would take an estimated…read moretime of 2 weeks to finish and that he would "shoot" for 1 week. It took 5 weeks to finish. In the process of him remodeling the bathroom he damaged a towel rack and a wall in our closet. He attempted to fix the towel rack by taking it out and repositioning it, however, he had broken the piece inside the rack and is still loose and also no texture for the 2 holes he patched, so it is very noticeable. In the closet he had some dents and a single screw in the wall. He took out the screw and put in some spackle, then sanded it, then painted. He used a brush and thus doesn't have the texture. He told me that he was going to come back and fix it. He still needed to sand it down some more and repaint. He also had put in tile and grout into a linear shower drain. The grout got soft within taking 2 showers and the tile was coming out. I told him about it and he fixed it. The reason was he didn't use the correct adhesive, something I would think that a professional would know about. He also forgot to install the dam strip. Water went everywhere when we used the shower for the first time. When he installed the rain shower head, my husband took off the shower head and the insert piece was upside down, we were telling him that there's something wrong with the pressure and that the water doesn't fill up and about half of the holes weren't being used. He just said it was working fine when I left. My husband also had to seal the shower panel because it was also leaking water when we showered. He quoted me for my guest bath. I turned him down and he got irate on the phone with me and was very rude raising his voice and accused me of nickel and diming him. I calmly told him he was to fix the damage (in the closet) he had made and he continued to tell me that he was finished with the job. He is not a professional and I would NEVER refer him to anyone. His quotes are very expensive, he quoted me with $4,745 for the shower remodel and $4,100 for the guest bath remodel. The bathroom shower itself came out great but at the cost of being treated poorly and the job not complete. He told me that he would fix it if he was getting the job for the guest bath. He also would tell me on various days that he would clean after his job on a certain day and not do it. I would have to clean the floor everyday. A couple times his sidekick would do it. Which was very nice of him. A lot of times Chris would say he's coming then never show up. Say he not then he would. He would have a lot of "Emergencies" and just not come with no call or nothing. He doesn't have the decency to communicate. He would say things like "I'll be here first thing in the morning", and never show up or sometimes show up after I would text him "Are you coming today?"and then show up around 1pm. One day I had to leave to do something and he left my house unlocked and the garage opened for over an hour. Anyone could have come into my home. He has no respect for you or your house. I found an empty beer can in my garage next to his tools one day. UNPROFESSIONAL. He also promised to pressure wash my garage and he never did. Also a word of advice, before hiring someone make sure you do your due diligence and see if they are even qualified (licensed) to do a job, like plumbing, electrical, etc., because he isn't.
