Unfortunately while we were transporting it to my house last year, we were not very careful and ripped the canvas in three places. It is a very very old painting and holds a lot of sentimental value, so of course we were devastated. I contacted Melinda and she gave me an estimate - I dropped the painting off and she explained all of the possible ways she could fix it. We chose the patch method for the rips, as I didn't want to lose the texture of the paint on the trees by relining the whole canvas. The price was very affordable, and she let us know it was done in about two weeks. In addition to fixing the three rips (we couldn't even tell where she applied the fixes!) she also stretched the painting and waxed the frame for us.
