I recently had Fine Art Restore do a repair on my Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse figurine. A very large ceramic piece that I have had for over 20 years. The piece is about two feet tall and had developed cracks in both legs that needed to be repaired urgently as they are structural not just cosmetic. Alina did a great job with fixing the structural issues with Mickey's legs, glued and filled all the cracks, and then painted everything so it doesn't look repaired. I feel she changed a fair price to fix the issues as they were pretty extensive and she made sure to make it look as good as new! When I brought her the painting, I realized she's a pro right away from the observations she made and how she answered my questions. So I left it with her to clean. When I picked it up I was amazed how much more brighter the colors are (it was dirtier than I thought). She also painted the liner so that it looked new! She also re-wired the hanging wire and pulled out some unnecessary staples from the back of this 1959 painting. Her price was fair and she did an overall excellent job.
