We are new to town, and had several large pieces to frame. One of them was a piece of art painted on a vintage grain sack, and the other was a MASSIVE vintage CA state flag. Junior took such great care of us, helping select the best frame options, discussing the merits of different types of glass vs. plexiglass (we went with plexiglass for such large pieces), and even custom building a support on the back so that we could use a picture rail system instead of nails to hang these on our plaster walls. His pricing was super competitive (and by that, I mean better than anyone else!) and he even helped us load & strap these giant pieces to our vehicle to get them home safely. I also had a smaller piece to frame, and he suggested lifting it slightly off the mat, to allow the rough edges to shine! I never would have thought about doing that and it turned out RAD! I've had three pieces of art framed here over the past few years. The most recent two pieces of art Junior went above and beyond to try to get the frames finished in time for the photography shoot I had already scheduled. He special ordered some of the material but it wasn't going to arrive in time so he called around to a few different local shops, had the material delivered sooner and even stayed late to get the job done and waited for me to get off work so that I could pick up the two frames art pieces. Stumbled upon this lovely framing store & so glad I decided to come by! There were some already made frames in various sizes ready to be picked up. I decided to buy 4 and asked for the glass to be cut and included. Unfortunately I forgot to pick up my frames on my set pick up day & was already driving home to LA. Don't usually write these - but because their service was so terrible wanted to do it as a warning to avoid this place. One of the worst experiences I've had with a retailer: bad attitude, rude, did not do the job, no communication. Took in a project that had great sentimental value to our family but it was obvious something they thought little of. Should have trusted my instincts and not left work for them to do. The second project involved getting high quality prints of pages to go in a gallery book. This involved converting my word documents to jpegs before printing them on professional quality printers.
