There's been a lot of good bakeries doing a lot of reality great things in Brussels as of late. Fine has been on our list now for awhile, and the wife and I figured we'd give it a shot.
Now, full disclosure--we only tried two things. One of the first things you're going to notice about Fine is their beautiful selection in the window. We came a little after 1pm, and they still had almost everything available. As we continue to eat more and more from here I will upload more and more photos, but for now all I can offer is my opinions on their strawberry croissants and their pain au chocolat.
When it comes to the strawberry croissant, the strawberry jam inside tasted like some of the best freezer jam I've been missing from the United States. Big, fluffy, light, croissants. For the pain au chocolat, we went with a praliné one. It was also massive and fluffy.
Despite how massive both the croissants the pain au chocolat were, we paid less than €5 for both. This is yet again another huge plus in the win column for Fine Bakery.
I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in Sablon and you're looking for a nice afternoon treat... Well, it's here. read more
