I had been a customer for over 7 years. Last week I tried starting my sprinkler system. There…read morewere parts lying on the ground and a cracked plastic top by the system shut offs. The system was not working. Everything was working fine until Best Irrigation winterized my system last fall. I called the company and they told me there must be damage from the freeze that had happened. This damage was not communicated to me, noted in the service techs notes, nor anything said about any damage that could have happened because of the freeze. The parts were lying on the ground and parts were obviously broken. The service tech told me everything went fine. If parts were lying on the ground and cracked parts, then there was obvious damage and it should have been communicated. If I knew there was damage I would have scheduled an appointment. The lack of communication is unacceptable and I will be finding a new irrigation company. I spoke to Best Irrigation and they did not want to remedy or help fix the problem.

TL;DR: Villa doesn't know the difference between nutrient dense seeding soil used for planting grass seed and plants versus dirty landscaping fill with pulverized stone and gravel used for leveling landscaping, grading and creating the foundation for hardscapes - in case you're confused, one kind grows stuff and the other doesn't, yet these experts who've been in business for 30+ years seem to have no clue about this difference.
