He installed my sprinkler system and sod back in 2017. Been trying to get a hold of him since the…read morebeginning of 2018. He would respond at first and kept saying he would come out, but never did and disappeared like a fart in the wind. Then I found out that he laid sod OVER my pop up drain which then led to flooding in my basement. Also, he didn't level it out with the concrete slab and pitch it lower. He should have dug out more for the sod, but instead the grade of sod was 3-4 inches higher than the slab which also contributed to the back flow flooding. He was very helpful at the beginning and the irrigation is great and said he'd be back in the spring to help get everything back up and running properly, but never came back. After awhile, he stopped responding all together. I told him about the issues and he said he would try and come fix them or at least help with resolving, but NOPE. DO NOT HIRE HIM. Even though his rates are a bit higher than others, he came off as mom and pop and personable, helpful, reliable. NONE OF THOSE THINGS carried forward. DO NOT HIRE HIM. DO NOT HIRE HIM. We now have to hire another landscaper to finish his work after paying him for a lot more than he finished. My mistake! Stay away from this guy! He will act nice and meek, even pleasant but he is a con! No Joke!

This added $606 to the bill. They were prompt and professional. The system works great now. It only took them (2 men) 3 hours to do everything! they make it impossible to separate their labor rate from parts and supplies. my $1650 invoice for 3 hours work was difficult to take, But they were very good at their work and very efficient also. My system works like it should again, proving the adage You get what you pay for!

Exorbitant Charges and Mispresented Service I recently had…read morea terrible experience with Wett and Wild and its founder, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with their services and misrepresentation that this individual is still part of the company. The most egregious issue was the exorbitant charges they levied on me. They charged almost $500 for just four sprinkler heads, 20 feet of line (did not need to dig or bury) and 90 minutes of labor! When I spoke to the business office about the charges, they said that the founder no longer works for the company but he'll sometimes go out and do service calls when customers call his phone - the original phone number for the company. As a remedy, they said they'd put a new phone number sticker on my control box this fall when they blow out the system. Lack of character on all counts - not taking accountability. We've used Wett and Wild for almost 10 years. That ended today. My advice: Save yourself the trouble and money, and look elsewhere for a reputable and honest lawn sprinkler service.

But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. I barely realized anyone was here and was so grateful I didn't have to spend extra time trying to coordinate. Now that I see the photos of the other work he has done, I will most likely see what help I can get for the nasty grubs that decimated my lawn last year. Thank you guys! Highly recommend!

Irrigation system installed developed a leak. I dug up the middle of the yard, found the leak, at a…read moresupply hose connection. Only one clamp was used on either side of the connector, normally two are used on each side (my neighbor just had 3 used on their system). Two clamps provide leak protection in the event a single clamp, which might not get installed tight enough (some dirt under clamp when tightened or clamp slightly twisted when fastened) begins to leak. Well, it developed a high volume leak which eroded away the soil around the retaining wall (20 feet away) In addition to digging up the yard, the retaining wall now requires repair. I called the company and explained the situation. FULL DISCLOSURE: I bought the house from the original owners who had the system installed... I did NOT pay for the original installation. I have no grounds for warranty. I understand that.... However, poor installation is poor installation. It can result in leaks far in the future. Temaca provided me with the date of installation as being four years ago therefore it is not under warranty. He offered to send out a service person for a charge. I felt a single clamp installation was sub standard, they should know that will eventually leak. I didn't think he should be charged for a service call for Shotty installation. He stated he's been installing systems for 26 years and doesn't need my installation advice. That's their standard installation. Indicating single clamp installation is sufficient. I cannot attest to how many of those systems have leaked. I do know the cost of the two dozen extra clamps needed to do the job correctly, pales in comparison to repairs needed to my retaining wall and yard! Even though I am not entitled to any warranty I thought a company, advertiseing "pride in their work" would at least send out an individual to see if their installation might've been the cause and put a couple more clamps on. The conversation did not last long enough for me to even mention the damage to my retaining wall. As for his offer of a paid service call, no thanks. I think I will fix it myself or go someplace else.

Once the plumbing was resolved with the city the entire system worked flawlessly. I needed some adjustments later when we purchased sone extra sod and the owner came out himself and did the adjustments for me. After that he showed me how to make adjustments myself if I was feeling up to it. My sod was installed by a big builder during the summer drought of 2021 and Ryan(the owner) gave me guidance on how to keep my sod alive and thriving. Temaca has been great and also will install a smart controller that is easy to use! I can't recommend them higher.
