We were referred to Darci a few years ago to cut my boyfriends hair and she always did a great job…read more Unfortunately, I was still seeing some other girl for my hair cut and one day made the mistake of using that girl for hair color and I ended up with burgundy hair. Burgundy might be great for some women, but not for me, I have a very conservative look. As soon as I was able, I had Darci correct the horrible dye job so I could look and feel like myself again. After that mess with the other "stylist", I began seeing Darci for all my haircuts. Darci does an amazing job with my thick, naturally curly, red hair, she even gives me great styling tricks to make taming my unruly mane quick and easy. Darci moved to a salon a bit farther from us and a few months back my boyfriend made the mistake of going to some barber who butchered his hair giving him the worst hair cut I have ever seen. I was horrified and promptly scheduled an emergency appointment with Darci to try and fix it before an event the next night. Let me tell you, Darci performed a miracle on that hack job and although it took two cuts for it to grow out, Darci did an amazing job making him look presentable again. He will never make the mistake of going to anyone else and now we make the short trip to Auburn every few weeks to get the best cut for my mans great hair. Darci is awesome and is always so great at accommodating our weird schedules, squeezing us in when she can.

Not being familiar with the area or knowing anyone, I looked on YELP and I found my stylist forever! Darci is AMAZING! She was able to match my hair color perfectly as if I had gone to her for years. The cut was stylish and she takes time to listen to what you want (something most hairsylists fail to do once they have their scissors in hand). I just love this Salon and Darci is very friendly and professional. She squeezed me in at the last minute and I would highly recommend Darci to anyone! Her work ethic is impressive, doing the hair of entire bridal parties weekend after weekend, the quality of her work remaining consistent from bridesmaid to bride. While Courtney was of course a guest at my wedding, she was also there to do both my hair and my maid of honor's hair. Weeks prior to the wedding, she came to my house to do a practice run; she listened to what I wanted, talked through it with me, and got the right style in her first attempt. On my wedding day, Courtney perfectly recreated the updo: a low chignon with face-framing waves, just the right balance of elegant and formal with a touch of ease. It was the perfect look to pair with my dress, which was entirely lace and very much "Morticia Addams meets boho." She gave herself plenty of time, communicating clearly to me and my maid of honor when she'd need to start doing our hair based on when we'd be leaving the house for the venue. She gave my cousin beautiful soft waves with just the right amount of volume at the crown. Our hair lasted all day and night.
