Marvin founded CMAC (Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center) because he realized the important role that arts and culture play in the quality of the community. In 2006, this $13.5 million concert facility came as the result of a privately-funded undertaking through the sale of 54 VIP boxes and Constellation Brands secured the naming rights. CMAC features 5,000 covered seats and lawn seating for up to 10,000 guests. My wife and I recently attended a concert at CMAC for the first time and had a great experience. We had no issues getting in or out (we did arrive and leave a little early, admittedly), had a great view of the stage even though we were just a couple rows before the lawn seats, and sound quality was great. There were food/drink options, a large area for merchandise, and easily accessible bathrooms in several spots. Our only issues were - 1. the pricing of food/drinks, but food/drink at concerts are ridiculously priced no matter where you go, and you are allowed to bring in an empty water bottle to fill. 2. There are "VIP" parking passes offered that are closer to the venue, but only at the time tickets go on sale THROUGH Ticketmaster - as first timers, we had no idea this even existed. Although, after going, we would never pay extra for VIP seating anyway, as the walk from the "general" parking lot to the venue was short and extremely easy. It was mostly the lack of communication about the availability. We'd definitely go back for another show.

Always a great place to hear headliner musicians. Security is good but was hugely disappointed…read morethat the return to plastic water bottles this season(2025) after the good alternative of the cartons of water. What happened?

The issue was low "E" string buzz that was accentuated by the neck relief. We talked about possibly removing some frets at the twelfth fret and planing the neck to level it. Tim said it could six weeks until he could get to the repair, which seemed Ok as I was in no hurry. I also wanted the tuners replaced as the original tuners were starting to come apart. The estimated worst case cost for all the work was $500-$600 dollars. No problem as I wanted the work done right. Fast forward 12 weeks to the beginning of July. When I called, they said they had replaced the tuners and surprisingly the neck had straightened itself out, probably due to humidity changes and a slight truss rod adjustment, so no neck work had to be done. Now they were waiting for a replacement saddle to raise the strings a bit. Two weeks later, still no guitar. Again, I had to call to get them to light a fire under the saddle distributor. Two more weeks and I finally get the guitar back. Not only is it unplayable as the saddle Tim had to "customize" was way too high, but there are multiple scratches in the head around each new tuner. While the final talley was $90, slow service, lack of follow-up and sloppy workmanship equals a crappy review. Please take your valued instrument elsewhere for repair.
