It's located pretty close to CMAC in Canandaigua and definitely is a farm. Smell of cow manure gives it away lol. They must've expected a big crowd because they had parking attendants and they charge $10 but they give you a token for five dollars off a drink. They have a decent sized stage and very good sound system. There's a big area in front that is for dancers, but with the small crowd we had that was only partially filled. They have some picnic tables available and also a covered area that was for weed growers that had long picnic tables as well. We brought our own folding chairs and sat in them for a while. They have good drink choices there and the food wasn't so bad either. They have barbecue food and fried food. And they make all their sauces on site. Check out my pics of the menus. I split the chicken fingers and fries with my friend. For the band's second set, we went up to the VIP area upstairs which they didn't charge for that night . Standing up there, you got a great view of the sunset and of the band and the whole surrounding area. As I said, the sound was very good and the vibe was great. It's not a fancy place but if you get into the outdoor farm experience, it's a great place to see a show. They also do private events there and weddings.

The water was so warm which is great for handwashing but it was not suitable for drinking on a hot summer day and the faucet was so short I couldn't even fill my Nalgene, which is what most people use. There's also not a lot of viewing room for concerts once people film up the center of the crowd area.

This location is ran by donations so feel free to help them out. This is a great window into the history of railway transport. It is set next to an operating railway, so you may even get to see a train pass by. It is free parking and free admission. They do have a small gift shop in the form of a purchase display cabinet where you can buy historical learning items, rail conductor hats and handkerchiefs. They do have a history library that they welcome you to look through. This has two floors in the main building with lots of artifacts to help you embrace the learning experience! It is worth the visit if you want to take a unique peek into history!

We say for over an hour 1/2 to leave after the concert. They were not directing traffic properly. The concert was good, however very steep prices for cocktails, wine, beer and seltzers. Like outrageous gouging. I ordered a slice of pizza it came burned and uneatable. You can bring your own chairs, blankets, no outside food, water, or drinks. No dogs. I did see families with small children. The problem with the seating is once people start standing you're basically standing for the entire show. The workers were not preventing people from standing on the sidewalk which became congested. I may try another concert not sure.

They have all kinds of pumpkins (edible heirlooms and traditional orange in all shapes and sizes), plus gourds and minis, mums, corn stalks and hay bales, perfect for decorating (and GREAT prices, at $7 for a full-sized hay bale and $20 for 4 gorgeous heirloom pumpkins). Last year I bought 4 heirlooms and used them inside for my seasonal display and they lasted through winter, at which point I processed them all for soup! For families, they have games and play areas, a corn maze, a petting zoo, rides, and an apple blaster where you shoot apples at targets (more fun than it probably sounds!). The apple blaster is also perfect for a friendly competition between friends... Inside they have lots of fall themed decorations available for purchase, plus food that includes fresh apple cider donuts (available as singles, 6 packs and dozens) and local cider, coffee, hot cocoa, fresh popcorn, chili dogs and cookies. We ate a chili dog (good sized red hot with a nice meaty chili and red bean topping), pumpkin coffee, 6 donuts and popcorn while walking around picking our pumpkins, and were very pleased with the taste, portions and quality. You go online to book a class- typically weekday evenings or weekend afternoons. Then you pick one of dozens of designs they offer to create your own custom wood sign. I was surprised that the time slot was 3 hours- how hard could it be? Well every detail is covered from distressing, to sanding, then staining and finally several stencils and paint followed by more distressing and waxing if you might desire. The finish product looks like a vintage find not some mass produced made in China sign at any local big box store. The location is just stunning, the staff are incredible- helpful, detail oriented and you can tell they truly want it to be an amazing experience. They have beer and wine for sale which is a nice perk. My only tip- don't wear anything that you would be sad to get stain on- they offer aprons but this is a workshop. B&B is a fun night out with friends or would be great for a bachelorette party or wine tour weekend. Plus Skaneateles is such a fun place to make a day out of the visit. I'm sure I'll fill up my punch card quickly- I'm going to my second class tomorrow.

From a parade, to food, to shops and vendors, to cosplayers walking around the street in costume, this festival made for an enjoyable day. There was quite a variety of things to do including visiting the bridge that looks just like the one for a movie, with a real life saving a suicide attempt story to boot. We chatted with Bert, who was out writing tickets on cars and getting to know all the visitors. There were free horse drawn carriage rides, and free tastings of roasted chestnuts which I had never had before. The It's a Wonderful Life Museum is open and was packed as people checked out the information, pictures, and toys they had. Besides the many things to do the big appeal of this festival is just how much it feels like the real Bedford Falls. So many shops opened up their doors and offered free snacks and free hot chocolate bars to visitors and locals alike. Everyone was so friendly, from the local townspeople and vendors to the guests and visitors as well. To me, this encompasses the exact feel of the movie. There were some great food options, from Mrs. Martini's spaghetti dinner and trivia which we missed as it was on Friday night, to local restaurants bringing out tents and serving their best chilis, hotdogs and burgers, and tacos outside, there was something for everyone. The bars and restaurants were also fully staffed indoors if you needed a break from the cold. My husband and I really enjoyed our time in Bedford Falls, if you are looking for something fun and different to do on the 2nd weekend in December, make the trip out to Seneca Falls to feel the It's a Wonderful Life spirit!
