We purchased a vehicle the first week of November and the check engine light came on Thanksgiving weekend. We took the vehicle to be diagnosed so we would have an understanding of why the check engine light was on and the diagnosis stated we needed a crank case replaced on the engine (I have no idea what that is or if that's a large or small repair).
