I went to Bessette's to get a quote on my car to fix my passenger doors and paint them. That is all I asked for, nothing more, nothing less. They claimed I needed a whole new passenger side fender and also said my doors weren't repairable, so they would need to get a whole new set of doors as well. Apparently what I asked for was unobtainable because their 'reputation' was more important, which was stated to me by an employee. After they took pictures and gave me a quote of about $3,400, I saw the quote papers had a bunch of other stuff they never even mentioned, such as repairing my windshield and back glass which are in perfect shape. This place rips off their customers for a quick buck, and I'm sure it was because I'm a girl. Very unprofessional. read more

These guys just did a interior detail on my Chevy Cruze and it looks brand new! they got out stains from years ago that I thought were impossible to get rid of and made it look effortless, they even cleaned the outside of my car and put in a scent for new smell. I called Bessette's a few months after they repaired my vehicle because I began to experience issues with the same area they repaired not long ago. As I do not know much about vehicles, I asked my fiancé and father their opinion and they both advised me to contact Bessette's as it appeared they did not repair my vehicle correctly the first time. Bessette's looked at my car, told me I must have hit something and that my vehicle needed major additional repairs. After insisting I hit nothing, they insinuated that someone hit me in a parking lot. They would not fix my car and refused to honor their work. I took my car to my parents' mechanic who fixed my vehicle free of charge and stated there was no major damage whatsoever. I really wanted to LOVE bessettes because the staff there was so friendly however their repair times are a joke.. . My car was hit while parked and I brought it to Bessettes. It's been a week since I brought it in and they have not even started on repairs or given me any kind of deadline.My car has a small golf ball size dent and a few scratches. It happened to me, I hit a deer. It messed up the front of our minivan, hood, grille, headlight, bumper and other out of sight parts. Our insurance company said we could take the vehicle to any repair shop we wanted. Bassetet's is close to home, so we took the vehicle there to see about repairs. They are the nicest people; Randy took our information and said they would take care of everything. We got our minivan back in a couple of weeks, it was like new. The color of the paint matched all the other undamaged parts. Fit and finish was great. They guarantee their work for as long as we own our vehicle.
