We inherited a great rocker from 1998 which matched the decor of our house which we purchased in 2015 but was also built in 1998. My husband had an old chair that belonged to his father. It was beyond useable condition but was huge sentimentally to hubby. I reached out to a few places to see what they would be able to do with it. I decided on Finish Pros based on my interaction with them and the positive reviews. I brought the chair and ottoman in to the shop. I wanted it to be as close to original color/leather that it was originally. They were upfront and honest about the different qualities and potential problems/benefits of each. I finally decided on a leather that would be durable and classy. They gave me a cost, which I felt was somewhat high. Having plenty of life experiences about spending less money and getting poor workmanship, I agreed to the price. I was told that it would be 6 to 8 weeks before it would be ready. It took me four years to make it this far, 6 to 8 weeks was a drop in the bucket. Less than 4 weeks later, I got a call to say that it was completed and available on Thursday for pick up. I thanked them for getting it done so quickly. I explained that I just had surgery the day before and would not be up and around until Friday. Lo and behold, they offered to deliver it to me on Thursday morning. I gladly accepted. When I saw the chair and ottoman, I couldn't believe how beautifully it turned out. The true test was when my husband walked in the door after work. A very strong man broke into tears and was in awe. She was both knowledgeable and a pleasure toi work with. The chairs arrived a week before the due date. We chose this company because the top of the chairs needed refinishing work, but not the whole chair. The tops now look great and blend so well with the finish on the rest of the chair, you would never know they were refinished. I just had an antique chair refinished and reupholstered by Finish Pros. I had bought the chair at an antique barn and it had several scatches and gouges in it. They did a great job and the chair looks fantastic! They came to my house, helped pick out fabric, took the chair with them, delivered it back within the time they told me and even came back to attend to one minor detail. Finish pros are the people for restoration of damaged. I had 3 hepplewhite chairs badly damaged in a move .One had what looked like a green stick fracture of the harp and the rest of the back (harp ) was broken off. I had no hope for that one, the other two had breaks on the harp also. When I picked them up they were as good as new. I recently had a sofa reupholstered by FinishPros. The sofa is of excellent quality but the original fabric had faded terribly. My wife and I luckily came across FinishPros at a local home show and we later contacted them for a price quote. We visited their workshop many times trying to decide on a fabric from their many sample books and they were very patient with us. They gave us the option of either ordering the fabric though them, or ordering our own fabric for them to install. We ordered the fabric and when it was delivered to our home, FinishPros came to pick up our sofa and fabric at no charge. We recently received the finished product, delivered at no charge, and within the promised completion time. My wife and I are extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship that FinishPros did. We recently had Finish Pros completely refinish the cabinetry in our very large kitchen and in 2 1/2 bathrooms. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of the experience. Their bid was competitive: neither the highest nor the lowest. We selected the company based on personal interaction with employees and the fact that their experience was in furniture restoration. The representative explained what we could expect of the process and 'trial refinished' a cupboard door to ensure our satisfaction with the new stain shade and finish. The works was completed in the projected time frame; onsite staff was professional, congenial and kept us informed of any issues that came up during the project. The protection against overspray in each room was exceptional. Fumes were kept to a minimum thru the use of large exhaust fans and an air scrubber. During the on-site phase, art the end of each day, equipment and materials were stacked neatly and out of the way allowing us as much access to the kitchen as possible. The final produce was cabinetry that was far better finished than when it was first installed. This group is highly competent, technically very knowledgeable and skilled.
