This jewelry store is very large and very busy due to them having a great reputation. I walked in and it was very very busy. I was acknowledged when I entered and told someone would be right with me soon. I spoke to the young lady at the desk and she took care of my needs. I need a repair for my watch would need to be shipped out with an estimate of 6-8 weeks. So far I have revived 2 text messages regarding updates and what I needed for my timepiece. I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Fink's Jewelers and a big thank you to Alex, who was the only jeweler in Richmond that listened to what I wanted and made the effort to make it happen (seriously I want to Pretty Woman those other salespeople!). I wanted to buy my husband a special watch and was between an Omega and a Tudor. I decided that this time I was going to go with the Tudor which just offered something a little more special. I knew exactly what I wanted and left details and my contact information at Tudor retailers and other stores that "had connections ". I was surprised to receive a text several months after visiting Finks from Alex letting me know that she hadn't forgotten me and was waiting on the specific watch to come in (back ordered because it is a new design) but she had the smaller version if I wanted to see it. I came in and loved it! She said that she was going to push her Tudor rep to get her the size I wanted and a few days later it was in! I loved that she listened to me and took me seriously, and that she advocated for me. We both love the watch and when we came in to pick it up we were treated very well by the rest of the staff as my husband spent some time with the watch before the purchase. My relationship with Finks Jewelers started in the summer of 2018. I was in the market for an engagement ring and Finks Jewelers is the only brick and mortar store in Richmond that allowed Ritani.com diamonds to be shipped to. I arrived here with the intention of purchasing a diamond directly off the internet and side-stepping the jeweler. When the diamond arrived I met with Vicki Robinson and so began our relationship regarding the finer things. She knew I had done my homework and that I was in the market for a "triple excellent" stone. Together we took a journey beyond the 4C's of diamonds and into the DeBeers Forevermark Diamonds. I'll let you Google all about what a Forevermark diamond is. Suffice it to say, after a lengthy discussion, I went with the Forevermark and forgot all about that internet stuff. I'm super happy I did. The performance of my diamond is incredible. Even in low lighting this thing dazzles the eye. The brilliance of it is remarkable. I picked up the ring mid-July and proposed two days later. She said yes. Fast forward seven months later to February of 2019 and it was my turn to get a ring. We had a wedding date set. Believe it or not I shopped around at four other places before landing back at Finks. The other places simply didn't have what I wanted. Ironically Finks didn't have what I wanted either, or did they? I kept coming back to unique design by DIANA®. It was a two-tone platinum ring with a concave middle band. The concave middle portion has this brushed look to it. I was mainly drawn the concave aspect of it. The problem was I wanted a large 8mm width and Finks only carried a 6mm. Not to worry, Vicki Robinson was on the case. She simply called up DIANA® and they custom made me the ring in 8mm. Fast forward again to the following month - March of 2019. I was in the market once again for diamonds. Not for a ring mind you but earrings. Vicki is a master of her craft and a hilarious sales person. I mentioned how I was town between the .65 carat vs the .75 and she said she would put them both on so I could see how they compared. Clever salesmanship, because after three seconds I obviously went with the larger stones. We had a good laugh because it's probably the oldest trick in the book. In the end it's for a great cause - my wife's birthday. She loves them and wears them every day. The Sabel Collection, like everything else in the store, is top choice so the earrings also dazzle brilliantly. At this point in time I'm done buying jewelry. I probably won't be back until an anniversary. At that time, I'll probably look into diamond tennis bracelets or a Rolex watch. Until that day we drop in every six months to have our rings professionally cleaned, serviced, and polished. It's a lifetime warranty after all. read more

I just left Fink Jewlers. I'm a telecom small business owner that travels throughout the US frequently. In my travels, I visit countless Rolex authorized dealers. I'm an avid watch collector, owning many Rolex pieces among other high end watches. Nothing brings me more joy than to purchase my next timepiece. But my experience at Fink was notably the worst I've experienced at ANY retailer in many years. I entered the building without being greeted by any of the 5-6 sales attendants looking straight at me. I should have walked out the. And there. But, I perused the Tudor display, the TAG display, Grand Seiko display, Cartier watch display and some jewelry. I made a loop around the entire store, still no assistance or greeting from ANY employee. Finally I ended my journey at the Rolex display. It was unattended, but a fellow customer was waiting to be helped. We exchanged greetings. When the Rolex authorized employee arrived she never acknowledged me. Instead she ignored me (there was only two people at the display), and began helping the customer customize a Datejust. Since I've been through that process before myself, I understood how long it could take. So I walked to the two employees that never greeted me at the "customer service desk" and asked if there was another authorized Rolex attendant. Finally, she greeted me and checked. She reported that they were all helping other customers. After a long period, my patience ran out when a customer that I watched come in the door behind me and was helped immediately the next sales person. I spoke to the store manager and told her to "do better." She apologized profusely stating that she did greet me. Then changed her story to say that we had "eye contact." As if that is some new type of southern greeting. The last and final straw was when the Rolex authorized sales person said, "good-bye" as I left the building. Sarcastic proof of the intentional slight. If you love watches and the experience of buying a new one PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS STORE. I want your watch buying experience to be top notch. After all there are many authorized dealers out there that will treat their customers like true customers. Not only did Fink lose my business (which I'm not sure if they care one way or another), but in turn I will make it a point to tell other collectors of my experience. Go somewhere else. Spent $3,000+ on my engagement ring in 2018. A diamond fell out within three days. They were very nice and replaced the whole ring with a new one (kind of sad because it wasn't the one he proposed with but whatever life goes on). Spent $2,500+ on a wedding band a year later. A diamond fell out within a week of the wedding. Cost me $180 to replace the diamond. Hello 2020, two diamonds fell out of my engagement ring. Then the band snaps where the diamond fell out (all from just regular wear). It's taken back to Finks for the THIRD time in less than three years. Lisa was kind enough to look at it and then state that they wouldn't even accept it for an estimate for repair. It would cost over $1,000 to remove the diamonds and put it in a brand new setting. Fun fact- husband bought me a David Yurman bracelet in 2019 from Finks and wouldn't you know the pearl fell off the cuff within six months. Took the bracelet into Finks for repair... couple hundred dollars later it's fixed. Just spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I am far from a sentimental person but my wedding ring is non-negotiable. read more

We have bought several pieces of jewelry from Fink's over the past few years and have always been very happy with the selection and the associates who work there. The engagement ring we purchased a few years ago (to replace my old one) had lost a few small diamonds in the band over the past year or so, most of the blame for that is on me as I'm not always gentle with my jewelry, so i brought it in for repairs and held my breath on what it would cost. Fink's was fantastic to deal with, they had to send it out, so it took a few weeks to get it back, but they stood behind their ring and gave me an additional one year warranty on the work they did. Finks just became a mega disappointment. I only gave 2 stars because of past experiences. We purchased our engagement ring, wedding bands and an anniversary ring from Finks at short pump over the last 8 years. The manager in the past has been Steve and he has been awesome, super helpful and always customer experience/customer service oriented. They would always ask to clean/buff your ring etc. Well. My ring needs to be resized and I live in Hawaii currently. I also wanted to get a larger ring, so while home we stopped in....all new faces. Finks wants to charge $150 to 200 to resize! I bought 3 platinum rings with diamonds.....seriously you cant help me out on the gold band? There also wasnt any creativity about getting the Finks band traded in towards a larger band. Simply. Cant. The clincher that took me from what I thought was a lifelong customer to taking my business elsewhere was the lack of customer service. My ring. Which hasnt been buffed in 2 years, didnt even elicit an offer to have it cleaned. I hope Finks gets its act together. Incredibly disappointing. read more

Just want to say that I am always greeted courteously, though I am in my work clothes and the sales staff is very helpful. I would give zero stars if I could. My experience was long before Yelp was around. My husband and I bought our engagement/wedding rings at Finks in VA Center Commons in 1999 and had a great experience with the purchase, until years later when my husband's ring had to be sized up due to his arthritis and damage to his finger due to an accident. Apparently, they could not size it up, and instead of informing my husband, they SCRAPPED his ring and replaced it with another. This was not ok, as it was not the ring I placed on my husbands hand during our wedding! He would have worn it on a chain around his neck, or kept it in a special place before we would have had it traded out for another one without any communication from Finks beforehand. When this was brought to the attention of the sales woman, she was tearfully apologetic but nothing was done to make the situation right. Not sure how they could have, but no offer was made. Needless to say, my husband has never worn the "imposter" ring. read more
