I saw their display space at the HEB in Leander and I signed up for an in-home consultation. They contacted me within hours of doing so. I bought my house 3 years ago and the living room had a light colored berber style carpet in it. Although the carpet was new it was wearing quickly, dirty and impossible to keep clean as my dogs tracked mud and dirt in every day. Seemed I was constantly breaking out the carpet shampooer. Two other rooms had hardwood floors and having seen pictures of the house prior to the photos used for my purchase I knew there was probably matching hardwood floors under the carpet. But I didn't know if it could be saved and as a 60 year old widow didn't know what to do with it if it could be. When Ryan came out for the appointment I told him about the possible flooring underneath. After some discussion we decided to pull up a corner and take a look. Sure enough there was the matching hardwood floor. Ryan thought it looked pretty good. That's when Ryan displayed the greatest level of ethics and morality I've seen in a long time. He told me "if it was me this is what I would do"..... As he said, worst case scenario is that it doesn't work out and I have to have new flooring installed. He then told me what to do step by step. He knew that this was at the expense of him selling me a newly installed floor but he did it anyway. He proceeded to tell me how to pull up the carpet tack strip carefully, how to plug and patch the holes, cover the scratches with stain, how to remove the glue that held the carpet padding down with mineral spirits and how to put down the transition pieces from the wood flooring to the tile. The next day I got to work. Took 2 - 3 days, a few hours at a time, but all total it was only about 6 - 7 hours of work. What I had tentatively priced out with Lowes / Home Depot to be a $3500 plus job cost me about $100 to restore and another $200 for an area rug. I think it looks amazing if I say so myself. I can't thank Ryan enough for his step by step instructions. Ryan could have been dishonest and told me the floor couldn't be saved, I wouldn't have known any better, but he didn't and for that reason I will use him in the future if I ever need to and I would recommend him to anyone that asks for a referral. Home renovation projects will inevitably always have bumps along the way, but Ryan and his team were incredibly responsive and willing to address any and all change. Mark came out and quoted my project in the thick of the busy summer and showed me a number of different engineered hardwood options within a couple of days. He was able to find a comparable match to a product I was looking at with 50% product cost savings. With supply chain issues and sourcing the materials, Ryan and Mark were communicative and kept me up to date as availability changed and we worked to find other options that would fit my engineered hardwood dreams within my one month renovation schedule. When it came to install day, I was worried the product was not the right color. Ryan was understanding and compassionate as we recognized it was a slightly different than what was originally intended (that option was three months back ordered). First when I called I had a great experience Mark and Ryan and they were very responsive. It was considered a big project so I guess that's why during that time I was treated well. But when the project was done the hardwood floor installers just left the heavy stuff for the glue to set, and they didn't come back to move it back to where it was and there was alot of glue residue. My husband had to move all the heavy stuff by himself to find more glue residue. That was the first disappointment from them Some of my other contractors damaged the new floors so I contacted Timbercreek with the question of replacing couple spots and left multiple texts and calls. Nor Ryan or Mark got back to me. I finally heard back not from the Timbercreek but from my other contractors that they don't do those kind of services. Which is fine but Just being completely ignored and hearing that they answered to my contractor and ignored me because they knew my number was bit annoying. Especially when you recently did all the floors with them. I even texted Mark "Am I being ignored?" no answer from him. Ryan simply never picked up. Fast quote and very easy to work with. Workers showed up on time on the day they were scheduled to begin work and they finished up within 3 days for ~1200 sqft of flooring. Only issue I had is that it felt a little like bait and switch once I received the final quote. Unfortunately I worked with a previous contractor that absolutely botched the concrete flooring job we were trying to do, so we went with Timbercreek Floors to cover the botched concrete flooring attempt with LVP. I knew there was going to be leveling needed to be done, but I gave Timbercreek access to all the flooring and there was no flooring to remove, hence no surprises for them and they should have been able to give an accurate quote estimate +/- 5% from the start. Original quote I received for the flooring was $6.9k just for the leveling, flooring install and baseboards, flooring not included. On the day of install, they said that they needed to rip up 1 room and completely relevel it because the concrete from the previous contractor was cracking. They said it would be roughly an increase in price of $1.5k which I accepted, but was slightly annoyed that they weren't able to tell me that before I already chose them. Additionally, they estimated that they would use ~32 bags of leveling concrete at $65/bag of material and labor costs. Final quote ended up being 60 bags of leveling concrete, which means I ended up paying an additional $1.8k + tax. They did a great job and everything looks good, but paying an additional 40% for a job that they had access to all the information beforehand... definitely frustrating. read more

Last year, we hired a contractor to install floors in our newly built home and after about 3 and a half weeks of poor communication and installation, we knew we had a problem on our hands. There was no leveling done, no moisture barrier laid, and the vinyl was installed too tightly- it was a costly nightmare and rookie homeowner mistake. A year later, we hire Timbercreek floors as a recommendation from our next door neighbors - and what a 180 degree, redeeming experience this has been. From the initial consultation, up into the final walkthrough, the experience was seamless. For 2000 square feet, it took less than 3 days for the crew to come in, rip up the old flooring, level everything, and install the new vinyl. They even moved and assembled some of our furniture which was our biggest concern. But, it took them no time at all. The workers were friendly and were always there to answer questions during the process.
