We wanted to replace the carpet in our three bedrooms with LVP that matched the rest of our house. To get the best quote we reached out to three different companies including PSF. Colin at PSF came back with the most competitive offer and also was the most responsive. Fast service! Great crew! Patrick responded quickly to emails. Colin came to the house with samples of Luxury Vinyl Planks. He responded to my texts promptly. The quote was a bit higher than another company and he came down a little. He promised installation the next week and it would only take 3 days. FYI They charge a 4% fee if you pay with credit card. The crew, Tony (lead) and David did an AMAZING job. The flooring looks great & they cleaned up all the mess :) We gladly tipped them for their hard work. After consulting with several reputable flooring companies, we went with Peoples Signature Flooring, not just because of their 5-star rating and their demonstrated expertise, but also because of the care and diligence Robert Peoples took in meeting with us. We are extremely pleased with the results. Robert took the time to show us different wood flooring in our house so we could better choose what looked best in the space. In fact, upon meeting with him, we decided to expand the scope of work beyond installing new wood floors in place of our worn out carpeting, but also in place of the nasty tile in our kitchen and the existing wood floors in our living and dining rooms. We even had Peoples lay new tile in our utility room. And they installed new baseboards throughout the house - no more quarter round molding! Tony and Gerry and their installation teams are genuine craftsmen. The new floors look fantastic, the stairs stunning, and the baseboards beautiful. When they came to an electric outlet or AC intake that was too low for the new baseboards, they actually framed the baseboard around the outlet instead of notching it. If they heard a creak in the subfloor, they silenced it - all without having to be asked. In installing the carpet runner on the stairs, they carefully measured and cut the segments so the pattern matched up, even as the stairs made a 180 degree turn on the landing. All of the people at Peoples are consummate professionals. Robin would let us know every day when the workers would arrive, and they would arrive on time. They would also clean up at the end of every day. And they were able to do all of this work without us or our dogs having to move out Their hard work, attention to detail, and conscientiousness put us greatly at ease for what - in less capable hands - could have been a very difficult experience. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would - don't go anywhere else! Robert and his wife, Julia are just hands down the best. They are so knowledgeable, easy to work with, and REALLY know their business. I was under a very tight budget for my project and Robert jumped through hoops to make sure that he met my needs. I also had a different flooring in mind from a previous Job on our other home, and Robert found a comparable floor to meet the needs of this home and stay under budget. Their team also went above and beyond to do top notch work on our floors, make any repairs needed along the way without my having to point them out, and had impeccable attention to detail. I did not know if I wanted laminate, luxury vinyl, or engineered hardwoods at the beginning, but Robert at People's had samples of all 3 product types sent directly to my home. I really cannot say enough good things about this company. I recently used their services for the second time in the last couple of years, and the experience left me wishing that all of the contractors that I work with were like the professionals at Peoples Signature Flooring. Both Robert and Julie are never in a rush, and they're never trying to push you to commit to a solution. After being immobilized for months about where to start the process of replacing my 13-year old wall-to-wall carpet and vinyl flooring, I stumbled across the website of Peoples Signature Flooring. They are a mobile flooring company, meaning that the owner, Robert Peoples, brings samples to your home based on what you need in terms of flooring type, materials, quality, and color. The hands-on-approach was exactly what I needed. What I had not expected is that Robert spends a great deal of time educating his clients (in writing and verbally) so they can make educated decisions every step of the process. At no point in the process did I feel overwhelmed or on my own. He provided expertise, recommendations, suggestions, and things to consider but I was always in the driver's seat. I was originally going with Luxury Vinyl Planks but after Robert came to my home and we tried out different styles of flooring with my lighting and furnishings - and crunched numbers (my biggest concern), I ended up installing a stunning engineered hardwood throughout and complementary tile in the bathrooms and laundry. We recently had Peoples Signature Flooring put in new hardwood and carpet in our entire house. They also installed stacked stone on the entire wall containing our fireplace. The whole process was was just amazingly great from start to finish. Robert came to our house with samples. He actually made 2 trips (about 6 hours worth!) to be sure we were happy with our choices. I quickly realized the importance of viewing the samples in your home vs. just looking at them in a store. Once we made our choices they were in regular contact, setting up installation schedules. I can't say enough about the communication and product expertise. It resulted in us knowing we had made choices we totally loved. The installers he used were wonderful. They were extremely courteous, cleaned up so well after their work and were excellent craftsmen. I felt so comfortable having them doing the work - never once worried about the quality of installation. Great experience. I got the thickest LVP I could, on the second floor. Robert was very professional, friendly, knowledgable, punctual, and quick to reply over email. I sent him a lot of emails asking questions, and he always answered back thoughtfully and quickly. I was very concerned about getting flooring that stunk up the entire room for months (having experienced that in the past). The flooring he helped me pick smelled great (i.e. barely smelled like anything), and it's just great quality overall. The guys that came over to do the job were very nice, very fast, and helped me move plenty of brand new furniture I had to take out of the box into the room they painted when they were done. It would be impossible to overstate how great our experience with Peoples Signature Flooring was. We needed to replace the wood floors in our entire home after a dishwasher incident in the kitchen. We have done some big renovation projects at our house over the years, but this was definitely going to be one of, if not the, biggest. In addition, given that it was an insurance claim, I fully expected it to be a headache. Turns out, it was the smoothest project we've done - BY FAR. The way that Robert and Julie operate their business is first class. Despite giving us a heads up that there would probably be a wait of a few weeks to have our initial meeting with Robert, they squeezed us in early and got rolling. Robert came out to our house one evening with a truck full of wood samples and walked us through all of the options he had pre-selected based on our preferences. He knew the products inside and out, and even helped with some design questions. We were so impressed with everything about the process that we didn't even bother to look further and ended up putting our deposit down on the floors that evening.
