I'm 42, so Reema and I have done Microneedling, Botox, Filler, Sculptra etc. I've done it all. Most recently, we did the cool peel which I had never done before. This has been one of my very favorite treatments yet - recommended by Reema to help with skin elasticity, tone, pores and just general brightening and glow (I'm sure there's more but I have no idea what they are - I just know my skin looked better than it has EVER looked). It was unbelievable how different (amazing) my skin looked about six days after we did the cool peel. Obviously, Reema is not just an amazing doctor - she's an ARTIST. She's able to look at every individual face and give amazing recommendations based on skin type, age, ethnicity etc. I trust her implicitly - she always makes recommendations with her patient in mind and every recommendation she has EVER made to me has been a slam-dunk. Not to mention, she's an absolute doll and the staff is so warm, welcoming and fun that sometimes I go to my appointment half an hour early just to hang out (I love you, Paul). True story. I live right around the block from the office, so there's plenty of places that provide some of the treatments that Reema does - I've actually branched out and tried a few at other offices and I can say with complete confidence that there isn't a clinician out there who knows how to manage skin the way Reema does. My wedding is in three weeks and there's not a single doctor I would let touch my face except for her, because she's absolutely exceptional. It became painfully obvious that no one, including the dermatologist, had taken the time to review my intake form at all. The consultation itself felt cold and uncomfortable. The dermatologist was not warm or welcoming, and the appointment felt awkward, like she was simply waiting for me to ask questions. I have never had laser treatment before and expected guidance, education, and reassurance during a $300 consultation. I also asked for before and after pictures (covering the patients identity), but they were hesitant and weren't sure if they had any. It made me distrust their ability for eyebrow removal. I left feeling confused and not confident in their ability. What upset me the most was what happened afterward. I called a few days later to explain my concerns and ask about a possible refund because the consultation did not meet even basic expectations. I was told the $300 was for the dermatologist's time, which I understand, but I truly felt like my time and money were wasted. Rather than acknowledging my experience or showing any empathy, they repeatedly tried to push me to use the $300 toward other treatments with them. She told me to numb a little longer so I would be very comfortable. She did my treatment carefully and kept asking about my comfort level. After she finished, her assistant Heidi applied a cooling mask and then set up for my Daxxify. Since I was numb and Lesley was so gentle, I didn't feel anything! The office is clean, beautiful and inviting with fresh flowers a tea bar! I felt well cared for and left with a bag of goodies for my aftercare. I can't wait to see the results of my treatments. A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients.
