She said she was in compliance with charging her clients sales tax on personal services due to the number of services she offers. However, I explained to her that I had spoken to a few different representatives at NCDOR who all told me I was improperly charged, since I only had personal services done and hadn't purchased any products that day. When I explained to her what NCDOR told me, Emelia's response was that "they" don't always know. To date, I have yet to receive the refund for the sales tax I was charged that day. When I told her I wouldn't be returning, she could have cared less! I guess she has plenty of clients who are unaware they are being charged sales tax improperly on their personal services so losing me as a client meant absolutely nothing to her!

After weeks of trying to contact her prior to the appt she then finally actually called back after already being late and got mad at me because I didn't have time to wait for her.... WTF? Then she sent me a nasty hateful text message trying to reprimand me for "wasting her time" when she has a track record on all her reviews for 4 YEARS AND COUNTING with evidence of her being late or not showing up at all to her own appointments, as well as not communicating with customers -- so SHE clearly actually wasted my and many other people's time, not the other way around! Then she had the nerve to mark my Groupon as used even though she was unreasonably late to her own appt and never performed any services at all. Now I have to deal with that and trying to get my money back. I'm sure she loves that she is wasting a little bit more of my time, she seems to revel in it based on her history. After I made it back home she sent me an "oops" text that she forgot to put me on the calendar. I'm in sales and I find customer service to be a critical component no matter what your business. This merchant was sorely lacking. I am very disappointed and am now struggling to get reimbursed. I won't be back and would not recommend.

It's always a little nerve racking going to a new place and seeing how things are done there. The atmosphere is so inviting and the employees are so genuine! :) unlike most of the people to walk in their door, I'm no health nut.. There was no judgement made. Truly a wonderful experience! I had the blueberry kale meal smoothie... DELISH! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
