I was aiming to be 10 minutes early (which would have definitely been more ideal) but I'm a disaster in the morning (maybe disaster is a bit harsh but, let's just say--I'm not a morning person). They have mats for you to borrow or you can bring your own. They also have blocks, straps, and blankets. If you go to a class you'll need all of the above. Fortunately, I met a friend there who gave me the lay of the land. I went to their Tosa Yoga Flow class, which is a great class for beginners. I'm 100% a beginner and felt quite comfortable. They also have a gentle yoga flow as well as a mellow flow + restorative, which are both also good for beginners. If you're more advanced, their strong flow class may just be for you! After getting situated with my mat and props, the class began. Our instructor was clear, kind, and inclusive. She provided judgement free alternatives to moves so that you could do what feels comfortable. After the class, they informed me that they have a deal where newbies get one month of unlimited classes for $49! Even better? My $21 that I paid for the drop in could be applied toward the newbie rate. I signed up and am looking forward to trying a variety of classes this month! Highly recommend Tosa Yoga for a lovely, restorative, inclusive yoga experience. Get to it!

There's no sign making it difficult to find since it's a house on a busy street in Wauwatosa (parking is not easy either). The hatha yoga class I attended consisted of instructor talking and having a student demonstrate. We sat on the floor and stretched with a chair as a prop while being adjusted. She also gave resources for more info on yoga. Her experience and expertise was really great but the majority of the class was a lecture; not very much movement. It's great for those new to yoga, and good refresher for what makes up good technique but definately not a work out. I learned of this place through the Metabody groupon that is trying to promote weight loss so I found this to be misleading.

I walked in and it's a nice space, i mentioned I saw their stuff on Yelp and I sat that right then and there for a reading. In the store not a corner or a private room right there next to the register with a guy sitting there. And someone on the computer, with a lady walking around along with one on the phone, it was a bit distracting NOT PRIVATE AT ALL. It was also timed 15min $20. I decided to give this place a try because I saw them on Yelp events Overall the lady that did the reading was nice but the distraction around me was not good. You would think they ask if you would prefer privacy but I guess they just do readings out in the open, I looked around briefly but left right after the reading. Everything in the store is nice and organized but I didn't look around much just did a quick sweep when I got up and left.
