ENVIRONMENT When walking into the establishment I'll admit the customer service was pleasant and nothing immediately stood out. When I walked into the mens locker room I was greeted with a repulsive funk that I don't have the capacity to describe. Besides the smell, I immediately noticed there was a guard present in the locker room. I have never encountered a gym that required a need for a security guard. Despite these warning signs, I proceeded in my attempt to make the most of the experience. Moving to the training floor,I noticed that was a considerable amount of equipment which is always a plus! However, after getting up close with the treadmill and various other machines I noticed the weight machines were either missing labels, filthy or non-functioning(see images). In conclusion, there are a plethora of other gyms that are cheaper or similarly priced that have far better upkeep of the equipment. Variety will never trump quality and this gym is a perfect semblance of an establishment that needs a bit of tlc(tender+love+care).

It's 45 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training and I always feel good about completing the workout when finished. The coaches are super friendly and are present during the workout to make sure that your form is good and to be available if you need any assistance. I did join F45 after the stay at home order was lifted and they do an amazing job making sure all members are socially distanced from each other. All members are required to wear masks when in the building space working out. It is extremely clean in the facility and I appreciate that especially during these times. They also offer different types of add ins like body scans which will give you in depth detail regarding your body metrics. She just goes and goes, but what's best about Phyllis is that she is a real person--she's a mom, she cooks for her family every day, she has injuries just like the rest of us. She keeps it realistic but kicks your butt at the same time. Two things about her classes and sessions that keep me coming back are that she really focuses on form and that she is open to making accommodations for injuries with no judgment. Oh, and I can barely walk the next day!! If I'm going to get my butt kicked, I want it to be KICKED! And she does that, always with tons of energy and a smile. Honestly, can't say enough good things. She has helped me focus on staying fit and HEALTHY--a real lifestyle change. Before I started working out with her I was barely exercising and eating like crap.
