They showed the kids basic safety, grooming, walking the ponies on an obstacle course, to a fun pony fashion show and then ending with a cute horseshoe craft to take home. The event was about an hour and half and was just the right amount of time. Parents/Guardians can stay the whole time and we took lots of pictures. We enjoyed it as much as the kids. We had been cautioned by a previous bride about certain issues, so we took extra precautions by hiring independent day-of coordinators--one of the best decisions we made. However, despite our efforts, the day did not go as planned. During our final walkthrough, we were verbally assured that any fluctuation in our guest count would not affect our alcohol charges. Yet, after the wedding, the venue attempted to charge us extra, which we declined. Additionally, many of the staff members were rude to our guests, as well as to my mother and mother-in-law. Despite being told that the staff would manage the venue, we encountered several issues: there weren't enough chairs, the restrooms were not restocked throughout the night, the venue coordinator was no where to be found, the owner yelled at my husband when he accidentally went into the office (we were told we had access to the whole space and it was truly an accidental walk-in) and the outdoor bar--supposed to remain open the entire evening--was closed after cocktail hour. One of the most upsetting moments was when my mother-in-law missed part of our dance because the venue staff refused to let our private bussers use the kitchen to organize and clean plates, leaving her to clean instead. To make matters worse, the staff began eating before all our guests had been served, and we ultimately ran out of food. I had also paid for insurance on two golf carts for our photographer to use for wedding party photos, yet they were never made available. The groom's suite and bridal suite were supposed to have stocked refrigerators for the wedding party, but these were locked at a certain time. We were also surprised by the expectation that everyone vacate the venue just 15 minutes after our scheduled exit time. Additionally, a staff member was unreasonably rude to our late-night vendor upon their arrival, making it difficult for them to figure out parking. While we didn't allow these setbacks to overshadow our special day, we were deeply disappointed by the experience, especially after learning that I was not the only bride who had a less than amazing experience. The Haven is undeniably a beautiful venue, but I would not recommend it to future brides. If you do choose to book it, ensure everything is in writing and strongly consider hiring an outside coordinator

My choices tend to be eclectic, but she pulled it all off spectacularly. I couldn't have been happier! Planning the flowers with her ended up being one of my favorite parts of the planning process. Our tables and chuppah looked lovely, and she arranged to have the flowers donated after the wedding, giving them a second life. Her ability to interpret what we were asking for, turn it into a lovely product, manage costs, and do all this such that we didn't worry about having to manage the process made this part of wedding-planning so much easier. The bar downstairs was so large and so well stocked people didn't have a problem getting what they needed. I was worried it was too far from downtown (and I mean really worried)...the drive was not a problem for my family (all from out of town)...moreover, they all said it was completely worth it and the venue was excellent. My wife was a little anxious at times...TJ and his staff took care of it. It truly was exactly the wedding I wanted and at times didn't even know how to plan. Bottom line: If you choose this place, you will get a top notch staff with a top tear aesthetic for a reasonable price. If you have only considered venues downtown and Ruled this venue out because of the distance (which is exactly what I did)...don't ...at the very least take a tour of the location. A bit pricey but worth it…read more For 2 people, 10 min was 30$ a person. We opted to add a bag of smashables for an additional 20$. You go in, sign a waiver. Get on an apron, your construction hat, and gloves. The owner was kind enough to allow us to print off some images and I was able to tape photos of two people that I wanted to smash on bottles. And! He added an extra 10 min for us. There's a few things in there already, available to smash. This was computer screens, washing machines, a few walls. But if you want glass? Make sure you get the bag. Quite cathartic.

The location that they had set up was a beautiful farm in Stilwell (Serendipity Farms) and they had arranged a huge beautiful wreath in front of the barn for a gorgeous backdrop. We were there for about 30 minutes and had a great time; Rye & her husband Chase were SO great with our toddler. They made him laugh and smile and really gained his trust so he had a blast and cooperated like a little angel. A week after our shoot we met at their studio to go over the photos where we then narrowed it down to our favorite shots. We chose 'Package A' which included 5 printed photos for $750. Here is where I dock one star because I couldn't find any pricing on the Rye Studios website before going into this meeting, so it was a little awkward discussing pricing and options in the moment. It was difficult to follow the package pricing versus the a la carte options. I also wish we would have been provided the digital copies of the photos we chose; The only digital copies we have were the ones uploaded to the Rye Studios Facebook - with the logo attached. All in all, the photos turned out spectacular but based solely on the price for 5 prints, we will probably only use Rye for special occasions. If they had offered a flat session fee for digital copies I would hire them multiple times a year! I will reiterate that I am thrilled with the shots that we did get, I just wish we had access to them.

But these prices were off the chart crazy. We bought, out of naivete. Hindsight..... Their product was beautiful, though! We love our proofs and have learned from this one!
