That being said, Brick and Mortar is the perfect LOCAL shop for your holiday shopping needs specializing in home-kitchen-garden items. The layout and store front are beautifully organized offering unique, one of a kind items perfect for gifts or personal indulgence. They currently have some of the most gorgeous Christmas ornaments I've ever seen and sell an array of The Woods merchandise including Maine-made sea bags. After one visit I am already in love with this store and can't wait to do all my Christmas shopping right in Norway! COVID-19 has definitely had its setbacks but I am so happy this store has emerged despite it all-- PLEASE SHOP LOCAL!

If you're into cooking or baking you MUST stop by here - everything you could want for your kitchen. They also have a nifty loyalty scheme (free to join) - spend $200 and get a gift certificate for $20. We left with a new electric kettle, a splatter guard, a new knife, a pie crust collar (because you know it sucks when your pie crust gets too brown and the foil always falls off) and a few more things.

I have had many of her flavors but each one has a nice surprise of taste. These scones are made to order so you'll have to call ahead for them! Her store is loaded with lots of Maine made products from local people in the area. She has a good deal of honey, jams and maple syrup. One of my favorite things that she does are her wool classes. She can teach anything from dying the wool to creating characters from it. She taught my mom how to make an amazing black bear. My favorite favorite part of her store is that she has a budding artist, "Grace" who makes the most unique and beautiful art pictures. The ability and strength this young artist puts into her pictures is just wonderful. Every new pictures makes me wish I owned it! She is going to be a show stopper! I am glad I am able to see this works of art.
