If you go mostly all in the morning or mostly all at night you'll cycle through the same 2-3 trainers. The advantage of this is they get to know you and know your strengths - and know when to push your limits. The other nice thing is you get a different workout perspective from each trainer - Amy is more focused on high intensity cardio with lifting as an accent, Nate is more focused on lifting, with cardio as an accent. Rob falls somewhere in the middle. I can't speak much for the morning trainers, since I mostly go after work. It's group-based classes - I've been there with anywhere between 2 and 15 people on any particular day - and a couple of times it was just me and the trainer! Each time the trainer is able to accommodate with a set of stations that you'll rotate through and get a great workout. The exercises change up each day which makes sure it's never monotonous and makes the hour go by quickly. You'll never do the same workout twice, guaranteed!

I absolutely love Jen's workout classes. She has so much energy! I always leave her classes in a…read morebetter mood than when I went in. She strikes a great balance between cardio and strength. I can tell that it's a great cardio workout because of my breath pace, but I also feel a little sore the next morning, which means my muscles got a good workout too! Jen is also great about giving modifications for exercises. For example, she often announces a more strenuous and more moderate way to do an exercise so that all levels of fitness can work for her classes. She is great when it comes to injury prevention. She regularly announces where we should be feeling the focus of an exercise on our bodies and tells us how to change our posture or position to avoid feeling tension in our back or knees. I bought a Groupon, as I have for a few boot camps in Columbus, and this was easily the most…read moredifficult to activate. Once I deciphered what time classes were and filled out all of the pre-class paperwork, I got a phone call and emails to confirm I was coming. I was warned that I might need to bring a towel or yoga mat but I decided to tough it out since I was wearing pants. Big mistake, this "gym" is a large room with green turf carpet like the Brady Bunch back yard. My knees were scraped by the time I left. A bunch of people were there, there was no hello or welcome, no direction to get started, just get in, find a spot and start doing what everyone else was doing. The instructor gave us a long set of drills to do for like 20 minutes straight and as we were doing it he talked about how awesome he was because he was Brutus the mascot when he went to Ohio State. It was entertaining, but he wasn't watching anyone for form and didn't seem to care about anything but impressing people. I went again a couple of days later, despite tweaking my knee on the first day, and the owner was there to run the class. Not much was different, except that he did seem to notice people were there to work out and not learn more about him. He gave us a big long set of stuff to do, turned up the music and off we went. I officially hurt myself after that class and spent the next two months in physical therapy and trying to get off his email list. I want to encourage people to work out but based on my experience at this place, it is hard for me to suggest doing so at this location.
