HomeAdvisors.com gave me contact info on five chimney service organizations and I initiated an Request For Proposal (RFP) exercise. Some visited my home to build the estimate while others based their quote on digital photos I sent them. Corinna was great and very personable each and every time we spoke over the phone. James has the heart of a teacher and was very patient with me throughout the repair. Together we refined the scope of work and we agreed on a fair amount for service. They were right in the middle of the quotes (price wise) compared to the other outfits. My interaction with Corinna and James is what won me over. On the day of repair, James and Aaron showed up early and went right to work. I worked form home that day and at times I would stop and observe what they were doing. They took special care to control debris during demo, ensuring nothing fell into the pool. They worked throughout the day and I'm very, very pleased with the finished product. We went so far as to install preventative measures to reduce the chance of wood peckers returning to my chimney. Chimney Specialists is top shelf and I highly recommend them for chimney exterior repair.
