Still consistently excellent! I have been coming here for years with my son. Reminders are excellent and I love how they greeted my son even on his birthday via email! Their facility is always clean! Very kid friendly. The staff are very nice as well. I still come here even after moving out of the area and now living in Lillington. The prizes and goody bag is just the cherry on top! Making a stressful visit for my son a little better Dr. Viscichelli is an EXCELLENT dentist. Made great recommendations and operated on my son. Felt at ease through the entire process from start to finish kept me in the loop and communicated consistently with me. Thank you so much.

Had my new patient appointment/cleaning yesterday. They took great care of me. They were…read moreprofessional. Explained everything to me. I'm 100% happy with them! They were definitely worth the drive from Ft Bragg! Also to add, they got me in pretty quick as some places I've lived you had to wait up for 6 months for a new patient appointment.

Me and my daughter have been attending this dental office since 2020. I called in on 1/11/22 to…read moreschedule a tooth extraction, which the receptionist advised me that she would be able to get me in for an appt on 1/12/22 @ 1p.m. So, I showed up to my appt on time, they took my temperature and immediately took me to their back room. The dental assistant was very nice and talkative which helped pass time while I waited on Dr. Taylor. The dental assistant took x-rays in the mean time. At about 1:30 Dr.Taylor came in to talk to me which was fine. Dr. Taylor left out again and at about 1:40ish she came back in to administer the numbing medication, in the mist of her numbing my tooth another dental assistant (male) stood in the doorway of the room I was in to tell Dr. Taylor he needed her in the room next door to me. (Note. The people next door had literally just gotten there, and I've been there for 45 mins now), after she numbed my tooth she left out. I assumed she went into the next room which she did. Now from my understanding numbing medication takes about 15 mins to fully take affect. With that being said Dr. Taylor didn't return to my room until 2:45. At this point I was very irritated. (Note. I'm 9 months pregnant & need to eat every 2 hrs.. so at this point I'm pretty much starving). In the mist of my hr wait 2 dental assistants kept asking if I was numb and I stated Every-time "yes, I've been numb almost immediately after it was administered" they also kept advising that Dr. Taylor would be in shortly. But the shortly never came. At 1:45 when Dr. Taylor did come in she asked me "is there a problem", I stated yes and explained to her how I felt. She then stated that she was doing me a favor by extracting my tooth and that She had other patients to attend too. She then laughed to her dental assistant and stated that I was very rude. Which I then told Dr. Taylor I felt She was very rude and unprofessional. I understand that these offices have to maneuver between patients, but to leave out of my Room to attend to another patient who literally just arrived in the middle of her numbing me is just insane. Dr. Taylor took so long to Come back that she had to administer more numbing medication because I could feel everything she was doing ( I'm assuming the bit of numbing she did give me was wearing off within that hr time frame). I felt as if Dr. Taylor picks and chooses which patients to treat in a timely matter.. and I feel like this is due to Insurance type and race. Dr. Taylor then stated "well You can leave" & after waiting 2 hrs to get a tooth pulled who's leaving at that point...?!?!? Not I. Please perform the extraction that I've been waiting on for 2 hrs. So to sum this up, Fr. Taylor Came in at 2:45 and to pull my Tooth and I was getting Up out my of the chair at 3p.m. I'm saying this to say it took her 2 hrs to do a 15 Min procedure which is RIDICULOUS. She laughed at my feelings which was disrespectful. All in all, I most definitely will not be going back for further checkups. Ps. Dr. Taylor staff were GREAT. It was literally Just the dentist with problems.

Dr. Cangas is a veteran that understands the unique situation our community faces. It is obvious he takes pride in his profession. My son knocked his tooth out on a Friday night. Dr. Cangas came in at nearly midnight on a Friday night to take care of my son. The only thing he said was "Come to the office I will be there in 15 minutes." He did it with a smile and took care of my son during a very traumatic experience. Even called the next day to make sure he was doing well. It is humbling to know that there are people like this that are willing to take such good care of my family. My highest recommendation.

Dr. Cangas has a military backyard, highly educated and experienced; with that he was very patient, informative and friendly. Their location is convenient if you live in Moore County, located near the Olive Garden. Walking in, the office is themed with all things horse racing; a bright, cheery atmosphere and you literally can't miss the horse in the next room greeting your little ones as they come in for their visit. While waiting they can watch a movie, show or play a video game. This is definitely a family and child friendly establishment. At the end of the appointment, a nice touch Dental Derby has added is a reward system for your child if they have done well and have been following best practices for oral health. Little ones earn Derby Dollars, a neat way to reward them for keeping their teeth clean every time they come for a visit. If you have a special needs child, I highly recommend bringing them here as well, their experience will put a parent at ease, just be sure to let them know ahead of time. Also, a tip, if you want to save time, you are able to print new patient paperwork at home and fill it out there rather than do it in the office, saving you from be distracted and held up.

Not sure if Leslie is a new office manager, but she's not a well-rounded manager and it shows. There are a clear signs of greed inside this office while it's run by Leslie. Our story: We were never told front any of the front office staff, the manager, Leslie, or from the doctors before our scheduled consultation that this office required a vitamin K shot or drops before a laser tongue tie procedure and removal. The office staff should mention this on the phone before any documents are signed and an appointment is scheduled. My wife sat in the office for less than 5 minutes with the doctor and after hearing that they require a vitamin K supplement, We declined any service. That was the only and first statement out of Doctor Anna's mouth and we immediately declined service. Doctor Anna went to Leslie, the office manager, and asked her void any charges for the consultation. Anna came back and told us that Leslie mentioned that she was not willing to void the charges for the consultation. Once we spoke to Leslie, she insisted on arguing with us that a consultation was performed and that the insurance would be charged, despite our plea that we rejected service as soon as we were informed that they require a vitamin K injection or oral supplement. Something that the office should have mentioned over the phone. Not only did the front office's lack of filtering customers at the door and over the phone waste our time, it wasted their time as well. Something that a potential customer should not have to eat.
