That said, I had the Blackened Salmon Salad which was outstanding. The piece is salmon was huge and perfectly cooked. The dressing complimented everyone on the plate beautifully. Just yum! Mark had the daily special - meatloaf. He said the mashed potatoes had the taste of box potatoes and the meatloaf was just okay. Some gravy would have gone a long way in improving the overall flavor of the dish. Someone had a Simple Sammy breakfast sandwich. It was nothing to write home about. The place is small and cute. There is a restaurant next door with additional tables. I'm not sure how all that work. Our server was super nice and helpful. We took Brownie Cheesecake Covered in Chocolate and a piece of Peanut Butter Pie home. The desserts were fantastic! A home run! This one takes grocery store to the next level. It's filled with so much more than just food/grocery items. It has a Starbucks inside (please don't write a review for the Starbucks on here as it's not the same business); a pharmacy; tons and tons of home goods; and more! A suggestion for the Kroger company/staff: - the Kroger app aisle locations didn't match up (i.e. I was looking for quinoa and it says aisle 12 on the app but it's actually in aisle 3); and Reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that this place gets very, very busy. I know people that travel by their Kroger 5 minutes from their place to go to this one, so be prepared for long lines and waiting time and some times vicious shoppers. THEY USE TOILET PAPER FROM THE TRASH…read more So hubby and I are on our way to Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati from Indy and I have to use the restroom. New Haven Rd next exit- has all the gas stations, Arby's, White Castle etc. I tell hubby to stop at Speedway because it's on the same side of the highway we'll have to get back on. I go in the restroom and it doesn't look clean but not dirty enough we're I don't want to use it because I have to go so bad. I curse myself for having the large soda in the car and lock the door. Then I notice that there's no toilet paper. Side note- I notice an almost full roll in the dirty trash can with no lid next to the toilet. I figured it got wet or something. So I run out to the registers and wait for the next cashier. By this time I'm ready to do the potty dance. Anywho I tell the male cashier who says there should be some in there. I let him know that I checked both slots and there was nothing. At this point his female cohort speaks up to say that she knows there's some in there because the last customer was given a roll because she said they were out of TP. Remembering what I saw in the trash I told her that there was a roll in the trash. SO SHE TELLS THE DUDE TO GO GET IT AND PUT IT ON THE ROLL!!! When she said that I looked at her like you have got to be kidding! She sheepishly added, "if it's clean". Ew! W.T.F. I just grabbed hubby and told him to put down the fountain drink he was still filling and left for the White Castle across the street which was MUCH cleaner. Seriously, don't go here.
