Our 10 yr old had the brisket sandwich. Both kids love the mac and cheese (has bacon) at Mission BBQ. We have actually come here just for the mac and cheese for our son because it is his favorite. All plates come with a piece of cornbread. Everything is delicious! We definitely recommend this place. Unfortunately they don't have any locations in California but we think they should open one in San Diego. We think it would be popular! Give them a try if you are in the area!

But they've recently removed the freeform text field from their Uber Eats orders. Understandable, I know some people write crazy stuff there. But now how can I order the extra applesauce? There is not a checkbox within this item listing for me to request extra condiments. There isn't a standalone applesauce item I can add to my cart. There's just no way whatsoever now for me to continue ordering the latkes the way I want, so I've had to stop ordering here completely. This is really bumming me out! I miss my latkes!!! Please fix the way your order options are set up on Uber Eats so I can go back to ordering latkes all the time. This used to be my favorite place to order lunch, and I even left a glowing 5-star review to that effect less than two weeks ago! But without that second cup of applesauce, my whole ratio is thrown off. I will of course update this review to five stars again if this issue is fixed. Because at the ratio of two little applesauce cups to three latkes, this is truly a 10/10 work lunch and I want to go back to ordering again ASAP. PS: Even if extra applesauces and sour creams cost like .25 or .50 to add, I would still just be stoked to be able to add them.

I suppose the service could be considered "decent" at this establishment, if one has particularly low standards. However, the fact that they are unable to properly construct a simple sandwich, and then charge $20 for it, is rather concerning. When I ordered a large build-your-own sub with double turkey, I was under the impression that I would be able to customize it to my liking. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the sandwich automatically came loaded with mayonnaise, tomatoes, onions, and provolone - toppings I had not requested and were not stated that they were included anywhere on the menu. And in addition, the toppings I did ask for - yellow mustard, cucumbers, and diced pickles - were nowhere to be found on the sandwich. This left me unable to eat the sandwich per dietary restrictions. But the issues don't end there. The bathrooms were in a very unsettling state, with a large puddle of some unidentifiable liquid pooled in the middle of the floor. I suppose I'll have to look elsewhere for a restaurant that can meet basic expectations. read more

If you don't enjoy dealing with customers or don't want to take even a little pride in your work, customer service may not be the right job for you. Being polite, courteous, and respectful shouldn't be too much to expect when someone chooses to spend their money at your restaurant. What makes it even more frustrating is being prompted to leave a tip when the employees can barely offer a greeting, a thank-you, or basic courtesy. I'm happy to tip for good service, but a tip should reflect the experience--not feel expected when the service is consistently unfriendly. Everyone can have a bad day, and I understand that. But when the same attitude happens repeatedly, it stops feeling like a bad day and starts feeling like a problem with the way this location is being run. Jersey Mike's, you really need to do better. Customers shouldn't walk away feeling like they were an inconvenience simply for placing an order.

When it was my turn, I ordered a footlong BLT on herb cheese bread and a footlong meatball and pepperoni on Italian (their monthly special). "We ain't got no meatball" the man behind the counter said in a mumble. He had to repeat it a second time for me to understand him. I then ordered a cold cut combo and requested that both be toasted. The Mumbler put my bread in the toaster and then went on to the next customer. As he was preparing the sandwich of the customer behind me, he reached over the sandwich that his co-worker was preparing for the customer in front of me and literally put his armpit in her sandwich in spite of his co-worker's futile attempt to protect the sandwich. So the customer behind me paid and left and the customer in front of me had left and my bread had now been sitting in the toaster waiting, as was I, for the two people making sandwiches to finish with people BEHIND me. Now it was finally my turn. I had to explain the order again as The Mumbler had moved on to someone else. Did I want my bacon heated? As it looked almost raw, yes I did. Then I had to wait again. Why didn't The Mumbler put it in the toaster while the bread was toasting? Two more customers behind me paid and left the restaurant. The woman behind the counter had given me one of the sandwiches that must have belonged to one of the myriad of customers that got waited on before me even though they were behind me in line. The sandwich that my co-worker received was turkey and bacon. My thought from earlier was confirmed as she said that the bacon was, indeed, almost raw. My co-worker returned to the Subway in order to receive the correct sandwich. When she explained what happened, the woman behind the counter explained that the man who had accidentally received her sandwich had returned that one as well. THEN THE WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER TRIED TO GIVE THE "USED" SANDWICH TO MY CO-WORKER! It took the manager coming out to convince her to make a new sandwich! DO NOT GO TO THIS SUBWAY!!!!!!
