Hot sauce packet is half the size of the sandwich. Sandwiches are tiny.
franceska l.

Came here because they had the "name of the day" free sub with purchase special! I got excited since my name is never chosen and the special was "first name that starts with F," so I had to go. I honestly have not had firehouse in years, so a lot has actually changed! First, I ordered the New York steamer which is a pastrami sandwich. Second, I also saw they had a new chicken Parmesan meatball sandwich on garlic toast, so I also wanted to try that. Third, the sauce bar is now gone! I loved how firehouse had so many sauces out before, but I guess post covid made that go away. Hot sauce for me is a need for these kinds of sandwich, but thankfully firehouse has their own packaged individually which was fine, just unfortunate that the variety isn't there anymore. Service is ok, which is why I'm knocking down a star. I had to ask a lot of questions. First she asked what kind of drink and chips I would like. The way the cashier said it made it seem like it came with it. However when I saw it ring up, it was both an extra charge. I told her I only wanted the sandwiches. When I ordered the second sub, she also asked chips and drink, which I had to ask again if it was included because I told her I only was going to order 2 sandwiches. After, she threw away my receipt without asking me, so I had to ask for it to be reprinted. Lastly, when I asked about the hot sauce she told me "over there." I walked around the front of the restaurant looking for the sauce bar and had to interrupt her saying I didn't see it. She meant for me to wait over there. I didn't know they removed it or that they had packets behind the table. Lastly, I wish the sandwiches were bigger. Pic for comparison. My hot sauce packet was half the size of the sandwich itself. Yes, it's not an ordinary size of regular sauce packets, but this is a small sandwich. Glad I got one sub for free today.

Large lobby with lots of space.

I love the New York Steamer! Firehouse is my go to place when I need something quick and consistent. The staff at this location is always helpful. Today I needed help with a promotion and they were very friendly and patient. Their lobby is larger than most and well maintained. It's a great location!

Veggie Sandwich

Firehouse Subs is starting to become one of my favorite go-to spots when I need a quick bite to eat. I love their Veggie sandwich, and my son really enjoy's their grilled cheese kids meal. I've been to this location 3 times now, and the service has been pretty good so far. The store and tables have been very clean on my visits, and they always seem moderately busy. My food is always on point! Everything is always fresh and the portion sizes are perfect. Definitely recommend.

Where's the meat???

I torn on how to complete this review. The staff is friend and the service is good. BUT if I can't get right was a business this location would be it. First the person taking the orders wasn't paying attention so he charged me for 4 sandwiches instead of 3, ok fine simple mistake manager refunded. But then he gives my order to someone else. The confused look on my face sent a red flag to the other customer where she double checked the order and realized it was not her order. To only make it home and my turkey bacon ranch sandwich is a veggie ranch sandwich. Hints on why I'm not sure how to rate I will give it 2 stars because the staff is friendly.. But I'm not sure if it's enough to keep me coming back.. in addition after looking at previous reviews the meat is often forgotten about and not laid to rest on the bread it belongs on..

Love the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket is my absolute favorite! It's super messy but soooo worth the mess! I love the pickle on the side and their brownies are also good! This place is always clean and customer service is always good!

Italian meatball toasted sub

My husband, sons and I stopped in to order sub sandwiches for dinner one evening. We ordered our favorite subs, ie. Italian meatball, Italian, turkey, etc., The artisan sandwich makers asked if we wanted our bread toasted? Some of us did. They are very good at the Henderson location in Eastgate shopping center. The restaurant is clean and organized. They observe the COVID19 safety and cleanliness guidelines. Social distancing is in place with face masks. It was overall a positive experience. Our sandwiches were delicious. I love the sauce they use, it's a little sweet and addicting. Inside the sub restaurant is memorabilia from fire departments. There was a lot to look at: pictures, fire jackets and helmets, etc. Their subs are filling and satisfying. We will return when the craving returns for a Firehouse Sub.

Grabbing lunch (1sr time here)

I am only giving 3 stars (instead of 5) because I feel for the price you pay for the corned beef and pastrami sandwich there should have been more meat on it...on the ends there was just crunch bread and no meat, also I ordered the small sandwich and a side of Mac n cheese & it was awful! It had little crunchy croutons on top and was cold! I told the girl and instead of apologizing she blamed it on their steamer not working and then told me she would put it in the microwave which did heat it up but, it was less than average on the taste...I joined their reward club and may give another try in the future but, we will see

Interior

Mood- Shopping While Hungry Now you know this is always a bad idea. You buy more stuff than you need, everything looks good, until you get it home, and then your angry while doing it. So yes that was me. Upon entering was greeted with great customer service. There were snafus going on between the employees that night but the acting supervisor quickly got in there and made my sandwiches. Even apologizing for the time it was taking. Opted for the Hook and Ladder, and Chicken BLT with some desserts of course. I got smalls as I didnt know what to expect. They were offering a garlic bread and this had my attention. Both of the sandwiches were made very well. I was impressed with the bread honestly. I had other questions but it didnt seem that night was the right night for any type of inquiries. Interior is several table and chair arrangements. The staff was cleaning up so everything was very clean and tidy. The interior is very neat. With lots of Firehouse Memorabilia that adorned the walls. Would recommend - pricing is high for the portion size but the food was good. The acting supervisor was very nice and hospitable. Maybe for the service part I just came in on the wrong day and def wrong time. Location is Marks/ Sunset - ample parking

And because we were visiting during the fall season, I wanted to make sure that I got a chance to try the limited pumpkin pie concrete because I really love pumpkin flavored foods (and wished they were available all year round). This Freddy's can be found on your way to the main entrance of Sunset Station Casino. It is also right across from Taco Bell and KFC with parking available. This Freddy's also has a drive thru as well and outdoor seating for those interested. I ended up ordering the following on the app (if you are a fan of Freddy's like me, you should sign up for the app so you can collect points and also score good meal/ food deals): Mini Pumpkin Pie Concrete, $6.49 prior to tax- I decided to get the mini version and thought the size was perfect for one person or to share with another for a smaller portion. I really liked this concrete, with the flavors of pumpkin pie, cinnamon and whipped cream. It was really delicious. The only negative is that I will have to wait until next fall to have this again. Vanilla Oreo Cookie, $1.99 prior to tax- This ice cream sandwich was actually a great size for one (or again, to share with another as a smaller portion). I really liked it, which I wasn't expecting since I don't normally like traditional ice cream sandwiches that I have purchased from the grocery store. I would definitely order this item again. ---------------------------- (Total= $9.19 after tax) Service was quick and friendly. When I walked in, I was greeted by an employee behind the counter. The girl who helped me said she was putting my concrete together (I appreciate that it was made when I arrived instead of it just sitting out until I come in to pick it up). I ended up eating my items outside so that I could sit with my little girl dog and my husband. It is nice that the outdoor seating is mostly shaded, which is nice on a sunny day. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Henderson.

Everybody like In N Out that a sure thing and they all order whatever they want. I can depend on the fast consistent service and the menu is the same wherever we go at any location. This In N Out is located in the Eastgate Shopping center with the big Walmart super center just off the 11 freeway at the Sunset Road exit, just go west and the shopping center is there. Lots of parking! We go inside and eat. One of my crew grabs some seats for us while I do the ordering and pay with the card. The service is efficient as always and my big order for 5 people is repeated back for accuracy. All's good and the guys fill their drinks as we wait for our order. WE get called and it needs two trays, so one of my crew helps bring it back to the table. Yes, In N out Yummers! The one girl on the crew ordered the lettuce wrapped burger, not my fave (tried it once) but she likes it. All the food was made accurately and tasted great. The crew was happy and lunch didn't take a whole lot of time, so we're done, toss the trash in the bin and back out there we go!

Dinner in Henderson, Nevada…read more.. After a self-guided tour of the Ethel M cactus garden's Valentine's Day decor, I drove the group to the nearest In-N-Out Burger... We don't have this chain in Hawaii. We like it because the prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh. This was a VERY busy location. There were no seats inside, so we sat outdoors where it was a bit chilly (in February). There was a friendly Security Guard holding the door open since the line was almost out of the door. We all ordered and paid at the counter, then waited for our number to be called. In the meantime, we filled our cups at the self-service beverage station. My hamburger combo was just right! The "well done" fries were nice and crispy! Yay! The only hiccup was that our Aunty Sue's order took such a long time! I had seen an order drop upside down onto the ground, but didn't know that it was hers! They had to make it all over again. Too bad they didn't tell her. She asked for takeout because she thought we'd be done eating by the time she got her meal. However, we waited for her so she could eat there at the table with us instead of eating in the car (too messy) or the hotel room (the food would be too cold by then). Other than that hiccup, everyone was so happy to dine at In-N-Out because they hadn't had this food for a year or so... Oh... Another thing... They thought that the size of the hamburger patty had shrunken... Yikes!

This location opened just outside of Green Valley Ranch just last year, and I decided to invite my friend over here instead of our usual late evening burger stop. I tried the Classic Burger ($9.99). It was pretty solid, with a decent thick patty, hefty bun, some lettuce and tomato, and a burger sauce. It wasn't that exciting compared to some of the other popular burger chains though, and it was giving lots of California vibes in the sense that there wasn't a lot of fattiness. I did get it with a combo (+$4.99) though. The onion rings were crispy and mostly were bite-through-able, and they went alright with the ranch. I do think a 1:2 or 1:3 ketchup:ranch mixture might be the play, but I didn't investigate thoroughly yet. I also tried my friend's fries, which were okay but not that memorable either. My rating was really not gonna be awesome except for my drink (also included in the aforementioned combo). It was my take on an Arnold Palmer, a roughly 1:1 mix of their unsweetened tea and their lemonade. I later found out that the tea is a passion fruit tea, which is why I was getting fruity/tropical vibes that aren't usually part of this tea. And the sweetness ended up so addictively ideal that I could hardly stop drinking the thing. I will be back to Ruby's when I really crave that Arnold Palmer, and hopefully I'll figure out what to do to find a better entree on their menu. Maybe my friend's chili cheese dog could be a good starting point.
