They closed around noon with a little sign that cannot be read as you walk in. The door is open. They say they will open at 4pm.

I absolutely love it here. The manager is amazing and super nice. I pass another location to come here. The other location always gives me a hard time because I get a pound of turkey. Hadn't been to a Firehouse in a while. I got the New York Steamer. It was pretty delish! Next time I will add onions. The restaurant was clean and neat. I was a little surprised how tall the counter was. I am 5'6 so anyone much short than I am will have trouble seeing over. The service a fast and efficient. They were not rude at all, but I could have done with a smile. All in all I was happy with my meal and will go back again. read more

This was the perfect place to go to get a sandwich for the beach. I ordered the steak and cheese on gluten free bread. It was very good and filled me up. It took awhile for my friend and I to get our sandwiches though. We waited over 20 minutes, even though, when we walked in, there was no one waiting ahead of us. They did take precautions about gluten and were very friendly. I was able to change what toppings I wanted on the sandwich easily as well. read more

Gotta say that the Italian sub blew me away! It was far superior to Publix and Subway. I highly recommend it!

Placed an order for a steak and cheese sub through DoorDash. Got someone else's order. The receipt on the delivery bag was right the sub was wrong which means my sub went to someone else and I got their order which is not door dashes fault to be clear. Girl at the shop was apologetic and nice when I called to let them know, so that was a positive, the only one I'm afraid. Manager and I'm assuming the franchisee owner tells me "sorry, nothing we can do, they're working on it" Just a horribly inefficient way to run a restaurant. I love leaving positive reviews and I really don't like leaving negative ones but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, I guess. I have ordered from them through GrubHub two times this week both a little before 8 PM. Both times they have said they'd gotten the order and they'd have my food to me within the hour. Both times, two minutes later this Firehouse Subs location would cancel the order and the email explanation I got both times from GrubHub was that they are no longer accepting delivery orders? I get when it's fifteen minutes before closing time, but over an hour before closing time? I am curious if they lock the doors an hour before closing time. Either way as someone who worked in food service for years and never stopped taking delivery orders until fifteen minutes (or 30 minutes at the most), I just don't understand why they can't make one sandwich for delivery with over an hour to go... I'm not saying it's a bunch of lazy teenagers just waiting to clock out and so they stop doing their job an hour before closing, but it is sure what it feels like. Anyways, it is what it is, but I just had to put it out there because it's happened twice in a week and three times overall. I mean, if you don't want to make money, why run a business? read more

This is a brand new store so I wanted to give it a try. They were busy on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of staff on hand. Got the Hook & Ladder medium sub to go. Very well packaged, extra Star just for the Togo box. Very good sub, juicy & the texture of the meat is soft, they put care into making their subs. I'll be back. read more

Today was my first time eating at this establishment. Ordered the New York steamer. Mid way through my sand which I bit down on something extremely hard. At first I thought it was a bone. Upon spitting it out it turned out to be a marble. Like, what kids played with in the 50's. I called up there to advise on what happened. Manager explained they use marbles to move tickets or some crap. He offered to make me another sub. Didn't offer to refund my money. After this experience do you think I want a free chance at eating some other gross shit? Thankfully I didn't crack a tooth or something. I was looking for a good fresh sub and tried Firehouse. The service from the employee was excellent as she was very friendly and helpful. I ordered their signature sub (Hook n ladder) and was very satisfied. The interior was clean and comfortable. All sandwich ingredients were fresh and tasty. They have excellent parking availability in a plaza that is not very busy. Prices are reasonable for the size of the subs which are good sized. read more

Called in at 12:45, employee said 5 minutes it would be ready..didn't get my food til 1:21 sat inside for about 25 minutes waiting for one sub only to find out it'd been ready and on the stand behind the counter. Awful, awful, awful!!! I just ordered from here and had it delivered through Uber Eats. The delivery service was great.... the food and even ordering process was TERRIBLE!!! When ordering, I read the descriptions for the sandwiches as my husband HATES and will not eat anything with mayonnaise on it. I was sure to pick a sandwich that had no mayonnaise on it. I also created my own sandwich for him for leftovers, obviously did not ask for mayo. In the comment section of both, I requested that they put jalapeños, salt & pepper, & vinegar & oil on the sandwiches...... NONE of those things were added to my sandwiches, I was given the wrong meat in the sandwich that I "created", and they REQUIRE you to order $1.99 drink with each sandwich. I tried to unclick the drink option but it even says next to it, REQUIRED. As a long time citizen of Tarpon Springs, I truly want to see these businesses succeed. However, after having to throw away all but $6.00 in drinks - which I didn't want in the first place- and 1 sandwich that was mediocre at best, I will certainly not be going back here!!! This place gets it! Greets their customers, friendly attitude, very attentive and efficient! First time I visited last month I had a problem with my online order. They were busy yet Lydia the manager gave me a minute of her time to show me how the online order works. She was very helpful and still got me my subs within minutes to me. My steak, cheese, onion and mushrooms was awesome so was the toasted Italian! This time when I visited I was greeted by Lydia (who remembered me) and Rebecca. Both so courteous and friendly makes you feel welcome. When I ordered my two toasted Italians Rebecca was very attentive and really into making them just right. And man were they delicious! The hook and ladder sub was great. The staff wasn't overly friendly and the drink station was disgusting. The lemon and limes were disgusting and no lid on them. I love the sandwiches but they need to have better hygiene with the drink station and tables. The staff could bd friendlier. read more
