I was looking for a new hot yoga studio on the west side of Cleveland since it is closer to where I live, and came across Inner Bliss on the Mindbody app. The drop in classes are $20 but the 5 class pass is $68, and the price discrepancy convinced me to buy a 5 class pass even though I had never been to the studio before. Luckily, I made the right decision! I'm a fan of the Hot Power Flow Yoga classes here (my favorite instructor is Sally!) They are challenging enough where it feels like a good workout, but the environment is still a safe space so I don't feel judged if I need to take a break. Some hot yoga classes I have been to focus too much on hitting specific poses/binds/balances that aren't conducive to all experience levels, but I haven't run into that problem at Inner Bliss. I will definitely be repurchasing more classes after my 5 class pass is used up.

Cat offers modifications for those who need them either because of a lack of mobility/flexibility or if a student needs a greater challenge. It's amazing to see a class full of people all at different levels, sizes and ages practicing together and all benefiting from the class. I believe this is the former Vision Yoga space (however, I never attended a class there, so I can't compare the two). What I can tell you is that Sara continues to make renovations and cosmetic improvements to the space, so if you visit, it will probably feel quite different. She takes a lot of pride in the space and the atmosphere. If you're visiting Lakewood Yoga, I cannot stress enough LEAVING EARLY FOR CLASS. They do not have a private parking lot. Parking is on the surrounding streets via parallel parking and meters. The classes are still running large in numbers so nearby parking will fill up fast. I also encourage you to get there early to get a good spot physically in the class (at least right now while it's still brand new and wildly popular) because it will get tight if you show up late. What I respect so deeply about Lakewood Yoga is the variety of classes. I am a person that only practices specific types of yoga, and Lakewood Yoga certainly has that variety. You will find vinyasa, power, yin, gentle, hatha, prenatal, and even family yoga! They have multiple classes every day so you can always find something that you're looking for. The environment is very non judgemental and supportive. With so few yoga studios in Lakewood, Lakewood Yoga is trailblazing!

Sacred Hour Yoga is owned by the same owner of Sacred Hour spa as well as a local yoga teacher Jessie. This is a one-room studio. The interior is absolutely beautiful, with the most stunning and oddly soft hardwood floors you've ever seen. Owner Jessie also owns Cleveland Hardwood Restoration and has truly put immense effort into making this space beautiful and inviting. The minute you walk in, you feel relaxed and at-home. This studio requires you to pre-register online as drop-ins are not a thing here. They have a full slate of weekly classes ranging from power vinyasa to restorative and class package options available. Their online scheduling is a breeze to pay by credit card. Sacred Hour Yoga is a truly welcoming studio (physically and socially) and I can't wait to see them continue to grow.

It is in a residential neighborhood which is so cute but off the beaten path (Five Points, or Five Corners if you know West Park). It is a welcoming, friendly, warm environment. The teachers are great and they really try get to know you. No judgement or 'gym class' feeling. Its addicting to take classes here because it is all the comfort of home but with with push & community of a studio. It feels good to work out here.

I attended starting late summer with the monthly membership and liked it well enough. I moved to Austin, TX in December and called to cancel my membership, after attempting to cancel online and being unable to find that option. It went to voicemail and I left a message. I never heard back from them, and ended up getting charged again in January. I called again and emailed requesting the charge be removed. Again, no response. I got charged AGAIN in February. I emailed again providing the past details and requesting the January and February charges be removed. Still no response when low and behold, I WAS CHARGED IN MARCH. Once in January is one thing. I get it, your busy, it happens in February, that stinks and a I'm a little put out. But there is no excuse now. I have been charged over and over, all the while attempting to follow up directly with the business. I attempted to be proactive and cancel prior to being charged at all to avoid this whole mess, to no avail. Now I am stuck with all the work of disputing these charges with my bank.
