Söl is an Islandic word for a type of seaweed. We were greeted by a Dane and co-owner who explained the menu and wines with great knowledge. Our menu had five dishes, only one had meat, fried Cod. The rest is various vegetables, fried cooked or partially raw. We got one glass of wine with each dish, all natural ones. It was only the first wine that didn't really suited my palate. I've given it 5 stars, but I wish I could shave of a quarter from the last star because of the first glass of wine. The reason I giving it almost full score is because of price/quality. You will not get this quality at any restaurant in Stavanger for this price! We paid 970 NOK/ person which is about what you would pay for the same in Sweden.
