5 STARS are not enough for Firelite! Have dealt with Steve Stremel for several years and his service has been extraordinary: reliable, fairly priced, honest, knowledgeable, and consumer focused. But he went above and beyond when we were out of town and the buyer of our home asked for a final check of the fireplace system the morning of our closing. Steve adjusted his schedule to accommodate our request but on the way to the early morning call, his truck konked out a short distance from our home. Steve, knowing that his certification determined whether our not our attorney could close on our house, enlisted his Office Manager (wife Susan) to pick him up so he could expertly complete our crucial call - which he did by inconveniencing his wife and family. Northsea, NY When I called and spoke with SusanI detailed what the problem might be with my Monessen propane fireplace in service since 2007, so that if parts were needed it would hopefully eleiminate multiple return trips. She advised to let her husband, Steve, make that assessment when he arrived. In the past other fireplace services required multiple return trips with a service charge each time. Because it was the begiinig of the fall/winter season it took a couple of weeks to schedule. When Steve arrived he cleaned every part and made all the necessary adjustments which took about two hours. No parts were needed, the price was extremely reasonable and four months later the the fireplace is functioning better thab first installed. Susan and Steve are the absolute best. read more

Our fireplace needed repair, so I called Fire Lite. I spoke with Susan, and she arranged the earliest appointment available while apologizing for not being able to make it sooner. I cannot express how excellent this company is, from scheduling an appointment to explaining what the service entails and pricing. I moved into my new home in October and one of the two gas fireplaces didn't work. When Steve looked at it, he said the problem was not a problem at all, just an adjustment that was included in the service cost. Honesty and customer service are beyond what I expected. We cannot recommend FireLite enough, they are absolutely fantastic!!! They worked on some older Gas fireplace inserts that no one else would work on and they did a wonderful job! Had a problem with my gas fireplace not working and asked my neighbor who he used and I had received Steve's number. My neighbor was extremely satisfied and said he wouldn't recommend anybody else. I have to agree. Steve made my fireplace look brand new and works better than ever. Excellent service! Prompt, professional, personable and honest! I mistakenly gave the technician too much cash because the bills must have been stuck together. The technician put the money away without checking it and when I realized it was missing and called, the technician checked the cash and came right back to return it.
