She asked for a bandaid in order to save money and he offered to put her on a monthly service plan to "save money" (which she absolutely did not understand and had no idea she was being charged monthly) and change out the coil and charge the unit for $5000! We checked the price of the part at a Dallas supplier and it was approximately $500 to buy the part, which they charged her $4000 to install, with a total bill of $5000. When we discovered what had happened we offered to assist the homeowner with canceling the monthly charge and getting to the bottom of why she was told she needed a $10k replacement of a 7 year old perfectly good AC unit, then grossly overcharged for a repair. I called Infinity Air, explained the situation, was told someone would need to call me back. I got a call back, explained again, she told me someone higher up would need to call me back, and they never did. The homeowner call to ask them to call me to discuss, they never called me. I'm shocked and very disappointed that a company like this would lie to this elderly woman telling her she needed a brand new unit, then overcharging so much to replace a coil, signing her up for a monthly program she didn't understand she had or was paying monthly for. The fact they never retuned phone calls to address, tells me they are not trustworthy to respond to elderly customer's service calls, and took complete advantage of someone who didn't even understand what was going on, and aren't interested in resolving concerns. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.
