As Im taking him around my house he asked me, you sure you're the home owner? I said yes I'm pretty sure I bought this house. So after I get done he says I need to run to the gas station to use the restroom I said ok and that was fine cause all my toilets were removed during the remodel. But before he left he asked me again, and you're sure you're the home owner? This time right in front of the other contractors working in the home and everyone just looked at him like that's fucked up dude. Shortly after the guy leaves another guy called me who could've been the owner and says that they aren't taking the job. When I asked why, he said his guy that just left said he didn't feel comfortable doing the job. And I said what, why? He said it doesn't matter my guy doesn't feel comfortable doing the job so we're not and you need to find someone else and then hung up. I waited a couple of days for them to come out and then wasted all that time doing the walk through, I felt I was owed an explanation. But of course never got one. So I figured this racist white man couldn't believe that a black man could own such a nice house and didn't believe that I did so much so, he didn't feel comfortable doing the work. That's just crazy! To have a company with the word KLEEN in it you guys sure are DIRTY.

I purchased a new full home replacement system in April 2023…read more I have required service three times as the contacts(not any related) and the blower fan, Oct 2024 and June 2026, in the air handler has failed twice. I scheduled service and was told someone would call thirty minutes before tech. No time window, just a day. I contacted them at noon to confirm still scheduled and was told early to mid afternoon. At 5pm I was told the tech was an hour out. The tech arrived and confirmed that the blower was out and would have to be ordered. The tech then went into upsell mode and from wanting to estimate for more insulation to complete duct replacement. Three year old system and multiple techs from this same company having either installed or repaired and now this tech is recommending complete duct replacement as my family sits in mid 80 heat waiting for ac to be repaired. This tech says that the old techs from Lyons "don't know as much as he does" and that is why they never recommended the upgrade. I purchased from Lyons because of the great reputation at the time. In my opinion, this is not the same company and the customer service had taken a back seat to upselling.

I wanted to share my experience with the new AC system we bought in 2022 as well as the company…read morethat installed it. It's a Daikin Fit 5 ton zoned system. First two years were great. Last summer it went out. The company that installed it came out 16 times between July and November. Multiple boards replaced, new wires run as well as a new eev on the indoor coil. They even had to replace the damper between the two zones because during the initial installation, they installed the wrong damper (yes, they admitted this). There's probably more but I think I've made my point. So why am I posting this? Well, because the AC has been out again for a week. Go figure. Also, I've asked for several call backs, including from owners and have had none in a week.

I have been burned by quite a few HVAC companies in the past. I finally found Green Leaf Air to…read morehelp with several issues we had over the years due to a bad install from the previous owners. I have had greenleaf out for 5 different fixes, and can honestly say I trust this company now. I always worry about different technicians having different skills or level of morals, however it seems whatever greenleafs policy is, is consistent between them. The first two times, I had a clogged line and a dirty coil. The technicians not only fixed both issues and showed me what they were doing, they then walked me through how I can do it myself to save the cost and a trip. I then had two larger issues (TXV Replacement and a cracked refridgerant line) and another airflow diagnostic which i requested, all of which I was walked through each step and given the full information and options. Not once did the technicans just throw their hands up and say "only thing you can do is replace everything" which ive had some grifters tell me in the past. The TXV replacement was significantly cheaper than I had been googling online and the technican's were very courteous. I also was given lots of clarity and assurances from the dispatch desk where they walked me through their pricing and said the price they quoted is exactly what I will be charged (as I was curious how the TXV replacement could be so much less than I was expecting). Im typically very suspicious of all contracting groups, but I have to say, greenleaf is the first to actually gain my trust.
