We had called in advance and requested our rooms be ready early, and that our rooms be near my parents room since they were traveling with us. I have made similar requests at other Bonvoy properties before and have almost always been severely disappointed. That was not the case here. Our rooms were ready when we arrived at noon, and we even received an upgrade due to our Bonvoy status. The front desk manager was so professional and kind! I was blown away when we arrived in our room and they had left the sweetest gifts for our son since it was his first trip. Touches like this are what make the Ritz Carlton brand legendary. Our entire stay was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and had the best service for drinks and lunch. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Edge. As always, the service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We only visited for one night, but everyone had the best time and felt relaxed heading back to reality.

The resort is beautiful, incredibly clean and spacious, and the aesthetic is gorgeous. There are plenty of restaurants and places to eat and drink, beautiful pools, and so much to enjoy throughout the property. The food was also amazing everywhere we ate, from the restaurants to the café! What impressed me most was the customer service. From check-in and the golf cart drivers to housekeeping, restaurant staff, and bartenders, everyone was attentive, respectful, and genuinely kind. If you ask for directions, they don't just point you somewhere, they actually walk you there. That level of hospitality really stood out to me. A special mention to Cris, who welcomed guests outside and opened the doors. His kindness and hospitality made such an impression on me. I had such a beautiful experience here and cannot wait to return. I'll definitely be recommending Omni Rancho Las Palmas to my friends and family!

I had to book a night ( wish we coulda stay longer than one night) but I booked our stay just so I can check it out for myself, this August 2026 I can finally cross this off my bookmarks & this JW will be on my list to visit again in the future. It was a dream come true from watching all the reels and being here in live in real life! This place is simply amazing! Prior to checking in we rode the boat around the lake, such a fun 15 minute boat ride on the property, then we checked in. If you are a fan of "Saved By The Bell", Jesse father's wedding was filmed here. I called & made reservations for the boat ride, $10. per person on weekends & $ 5. on weekdays. Happy there is a Marriott Elite check in counter which I utilized and wait wasn't too long, staff (she just started 3 months, sorry for not getting your name) who checked me in was so nice, she was helpful with giving us all the room & check in info. We also got bellman to assist with luggage, he was so awesome, also shared some tips with us. I booked the Griffith suite, which is a one bedroom suite. I was hoping for an upgrade with my elite status and so sad- I can't do the late check out which was offered since we got a tight schedule. I wasn't amazed by our room but more amazed with the atmosphere and just happy that we are here, our balcony view were palm trees which was a great photo opt. There is a daily resort fee of $45. + tax, which includes: daily fitness classes for 2 guests, daily golf range access + range balls for 2 guests, daily miniature golf for up to 4 guests, daily 2-hour bike rental for 2 guests, daily 1- hour tennis court + racquet rental for 2 guests, daily 1-hour pickleball court equipment for 2 guests, daily fish feeding activity, enhanced high-speed wifi. Parking/valet charges are separate. The daily resort fee was worth it for all the activities, but visiting Palm Springs in August, which I don't recommend, the temperature was in the 3 digits. We did ride the bike for 20 mins and enjoyed the pool for a bit during our stay. It was too hot to explore the premises. All in all, I Loved our super short stay, I got our photos in, it was truly a memorable stay and that lobby was so breathtaking. I am grateful & thankful everyday for my life! And though I'm sometimes overly generous with my ratings, I can honestly say Dru is the best server I've had, ever. She should run the joint! I wish I could give her a raise. We have stayed out in this area so many times and this is our first time here and we will definitely be back the room and the bathrooms are huge. The bed is so comfortable and sitting out on the patio overlooking the golf course is so serene. We ate breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and it was delicious. They have a secret window where you can go and get quick food. There is no reason to leave this area in a car the entire time you're here my only recommendation to the hotel is make the pools cooler. They were very warm even early in the morning, but I understand with it being this hot you may not be able to keep them as cool as most people would like. our kids would've loved the kids pool with the fun slides. I thought I was too old to give them a try, but maybe next time.

There's plenty of space in the lot so you're never circling for a spot, but just be aware of the cost going in. The lobby is actually pretty small for a resort this size, which surprised me. There's a Starbucks right inside though, which was clutch in the mornings. The property is spread out, so they have golf carts running around to shuttle you between buildings, which is a nice touch if you don't feel like walking. I stayed in a king room and it was clean and comfortable with a nice patio. Friends of ours were in one of the villas and those were really nice, way more space if you're traveling with a group. Rooms here run around $500 a night and up depending on the season, so it's not a cheap stay. The pools are the main draw, they have nine of them plus HyTides waterpark with the slides and lazy river. Fair warning, they were absolutely packed with kids when we went. This is very much a family resort more than an adults getaway. There is an adults only Oasis pool if you want somewhere quieter, which I'd recommend if you're not traveling with kids. Overall a solid stay, just go in knowing what kind of place it is.

While there were some positives, particularly the rooms, the overall level of service and resort experience was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was the service. There were multiple negative interactions with employees that significantly decreased the enjoyment of our stay. Our pool experience was particularly frustrating. Tina approached me as soon as we arrived and rudely asked, "What is all this stuff?" referring to each of us having a bottle of water and two small bags of chips. She then hassled us about not being allowed to bring anything into the pool area, despite numerous other guests visibly having full trays of outside food and drinks. The tone and manner in which we were approached were completely unnecessary and made us feel singled out. On another occasion, Elena refused to give us six towels for our family of four, insisting that we were only permitted one towel per person. At a resort charging this much per night, having to argue over two additional pool towels is absurd - especially considering the dozens of t towels left strewn about as the pool was not attended to by cleaning staff. We were told they may not have enough towels for every guest which again is absurd. My children were also repeatedly questioned about wristbands, despite the front desk specifically telling us that they did not need to wear them. Having staff routinely stop or question your children after being given conflicting instructions by the hotel itself is frustrating and detracts from what should be a relaxing family vacation. At checkout, I was standing in line waiting my turn when a woman behind me apparently became tired of waiting and sent her child ahead to ask an employee for assistance. Rather than directing them back to the line, the employee proceeded to help them while I continued waiting. It may seem minor, but it was representative of the lack of attentiveness and professionalism we experienced throughout our stay. My sister also stayed at the hotel and was charged parking for two vehicles although she only had one. She has had to follow up with them many times regarding the charge despite being assured that the additional charge was corrected. Beyond the service issues, there were several problems with the resort itself. The lazy river is much smaller than it appears in photos, and there were nowhere near enough floats available for the number of guests using it. The rooms also had surprisingly poor soundproofing, such that I was able to clearly hear the guests next door showering. Pest control is an issue as there was an incredible number of tiny flies that repeatedly flew around us. The food was probably the worst value of the entire stay. The quality simply does not match the prices being charged. A $27 chicken Caesar salad served with packets of Ken's dressing and a sad, unimpressive piece of chicken was honestly ridiculous. $25 for a simple 12-inch pizza was also excessive. I expect resort pricing, but resort pricing should still come with resort-quality food. The entertainment and activities could also be substantially improved. For a property marketed so heavily toward families and as a destination resort, there simply was not enough going on. The activities that did occur were also a disappointment. For example, the DIY squishy activity was just coloring on foam pieces with dry-erase markers. The slime making was fun but was only offered once at an off-time for most guests. The rooms themselves were the strongest part of the property. They are modern, attractive, very spacious, and well designed for families. However, I would not recommend paying the premium for a one-bedroom villa. We found that the king pool-view room offered essentially the same usable space for our purposes, with the main difference being the villa's additional half bath and a sink area. I would save the money and book the king pool-view room instead. We were also very pleased with the servers attending to our area of the pool across the three days we spent there. Brittany was one of these servers but unfortunately I don't recall the names of the other two who were also very attentive. Overall, this was disappointing because the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells has the bones of a great family resort. But at this price point, guests should receive polished, hospitable service and a premium experience. Instead, we repeatedly encountered petty restrictions, inconsistent information, underwhelming food at extremely inflated prices, and staff interactions that made the stay less enjoyable rather than more enjoyable. For what we paid, I expected significantly better.

Each call to the 1-800 number involved wait times exceeding 45 minutes, but we were consistently reassured that an upgrade could be accommodated upon arrival. Unfortunately, this was not the case. At check-in, the front desk informed us they could not assist and directed us to contact the 1-800 number again. After doing so, we spoke with a representative who reviewed the notes from our previous calls and confirmed that an upgrade should be possible. We were advised to request a manager upon returning to the desk. However, after waiting in line again and explaining the situation, the manager declined to come out and instead relayed through staff that the last two-bedroom unit had already been taken. As a family of five, a one-bedroom was not suitable, but we decided to move forward and make the best of the situation. Upon arriving at Building 6, we were immediately concerned by the condition of the property. The stairwells had visible cobwebs and scattered trash, giving the impression of poor upkeep. When we entered the unit, it was clear the space was not well designed for comfort. The living area was cramped due to excessive, unnecessary furniture, and both the living room and bedroom felt tight and poorly arranged. The bathroom was adequately sized but only had a single sink. The shower/tub leaked water, and the shower curtain appeared insufficient, which likely contributed to visible water damage. There was also noticeable mold and general uncleanliness in the bathroom. The carpeting throughout the unit appeared heavily soiled. The pool experience was also disappointing. The property advertises multiple pools, including two with water slides. On our second day, we attempted to enjoy these amenities, only to find that one of the main pools connected to a slide was closed, with assurances it would reopen the following day. At the main pool, we found the patio furniture in poor condition--cushions were torn and visibly dirty--and the pool water itself appeared unclean. Additionally, there was ongoing construction nearby, which disrupted the environment and required guests, including my daughter, to repeatedly accommodate workers passing through. We moved to a quieter pool area, which was somewhat better, but the water still appeared less than clean. On the third day, the previously closed pool remained unavailable, adding to our frustration. We eventually found another pool area that was better maintained, with cleaner seating. Food service was also inconvenient, as everything had to be ordered through a mobile system with no traditional waitstaff, which made the experience less enjoyable. Other issues included receiving extra blankets and pillows delivered in trash bags, which felt highly unprofessional. The pull-out sofa bed was in poor condition, with torn bedding and what appeared to be stains on the mattress. Overall, after four days, we were ready to return home. This was one of the most disappointing stays we have experienced. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unresponsive customer service made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing family trip.

Let the front desk know that and did a repost because these are bed bug bites. We got moved to another room and we enjoyed our outside again, when we came to the room, our TV doesn't work. We tried connecting our phone to the tv the same way we had done on the first room. But keeps saying the tv doesn't have network connection. We used the phone that's in the room to call the front desk and guess what?? Yuppppp our phone in the room doesn't work ether!!!! Now it's 11 pm and we're waiting for IT service guy to come to our room to fix it. It's bad enough the bed bug issue we had at the first room and now we're having other issues in this other room they put us. It's an uncomfortable feeling having someone to come to your room at this time at night to fix something that shouldn't have even been messed up. It's a new room they sent us too so all this should have been taken care of prior to moving us. Very upset that all this is happening on my finances birthday and will never come here again.
