We came here tonight after the JB concert and met his manager and here's our pic! It's fun and cool but too many cigar smokers outside. I love the vibes and had a cranberry cocktail. I will be back tomorrow!

I really enjoyed the food at fireside lounge. The menu is not as extensive as I would like it but the items I chose were absolutely amazing. The pizza is so delicious, so saucy, and the perfect amount of cheese. The fish tacos are so filling and they are Seabass so it is great quality fish. I love the sauce that comes with it as well. Could have came with more limes instead of too mini ones, but that was still OK. The shrimp tempura sushi roll was absolutely delicious because the plate is drizzled with dynamite sauce and teriyaki sauce. It comes with a nice side of soy sauce as well. So much flavor pack there

Iman E.

Stayed at the hotel over the weekend and came here twice. The seating and live music was great and why I gave 2 stars for the review, but the food and drinks left much to be desired! The drinks are extremely watered down and lacking flavor. We tried the pizza the first night and it was really doughy. The second night we tried the burger and it tasted like the Costco Burgers from a box. Def not worth it.

Spicy hibiscus margarita hand crafted and can be served to go.

I grew up in San Diego and we had a second house in Indian Wells so I used to come out to this area often growing up and it's good to be back in a comfortable setting. I would say that the Ritz Carlton is probably the best hotel in the Coachella Valley given that there are very few other five star options. It's located in Rancho Mirage pretty much right in between Palm Springs and Palm Desert. It's located on the top of a large hill so it has great views of the valley. They have a steakhouse on site called The Edge, which has it selling feature being these views and the great steak. The hotel is not extremely large. It only is three floors, but it's a perfect size in that it doesn't seem too large or too busy ever. We chose the club lounge which allowed us to have free food and drink pretty much all day and they did a great job with adding new options to the menu. There is not an on-site parking lot so it will be valet parking only. Originally opened in 1988 and then reopened again in 2014 after a major renovation this place has been a staple of the desert for decades. The one strange issue we had is that we when we checked in we found adult sex toys in our bedside cabinet drawer, which was extremely odd for a Ritz Carlton so I would suggest that the cleaning crew check for these things but luckily we were a couple of adults without kids so it wasn't an issue just odd. The rooms themselves are well done and large with a full tub and shower and comfortable beds. Room service is also really good and the whole resort really lives up to the Ritz Carlton standard. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting the desert and I will be back again in the future.

I know because this family's-third stay at a Ritz Carlton for the month of July-- Ritz Rancho Mirage is truly the best one we've ever stayed in California! Ritz Rancho Mirage property really needs to share its expertise and guidance with the less impressive, failing Ritz Half Moon Bay. That property is just Awful. SERIOUSLY help that horrid property out. Here at Ritz Rancho Mirage from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by all the wonderful valet men at the driveway. Bright happy smiles. Checking in was a breeze, with smiles, excellent customer service, and a super quick process. As we walked through the hallway towards the elevators, we were greeted by several staff members who said hello to us. Every employee we encountered at the property seemed to enjoy their job. It was such a wonderful day to see the Ritz Carlton stuffies for kids, three different options. Our kids chose the ram. Our family is known for collecting all the Ritz Carlton memorabilia and visiting all the properties around the world. So for this property to have three stuffies was a surprise The sweet, friendly young woman at the front desk showed them all the options, they could choose from. Our Family really loved our room. We again booked two connecting rooms. A double bedroom comes with a couch and is very spacious. The king bed also came with a little couch. The first floor had a very unique vibe that we all liked. The decoration of the Crystal lights was very cool. The bathrooms were all looking like they had a complete renovation. Big huge bathtubs for our little toddler to swim in his bubble bath in. Housekeeping staff I give them a 10! Phenomenal job all you amazing ladies and gents working in housekeeping. All of them were friendly, checked on us, offered more towels. Our room was serviced EVERY time we came back to the room, clean, spotless. Not like the disgusting Ritz Half Moon bay. The housekeeping crew here all were on top of their duties with great smiles and attitudes. We happily will be bringing more cash for them next time. Very hard workers. I appreciated all of you guys in housekeeping. The family pool was amazing! It was not overcrowded and it was clean, all the music playing was completely perfect for families. They keep the area very clean and the staff was always checking in on us to see like to order anything else or needed anything. The service at the Pool side is five star! The view from the property is spectacular! My family really was surprised at night that there was a star watch around the pool. We were able to see through the huge telescopes two distant stars. What a great treat. We all did enjoy the shops there at the resort. They had a great attire for the entire family. Dad found a wonderful shirt and our toddler found the cutest swim shorts. We don't like to do so far. This one is the best Ritz in terms of on site shopping. Overall, our family had a five star one experience at this property. So wonderful that I am very sure we will be booking more visits through the year.I cannot tell you enough how nice, accommodating and friendly staff is here at the property. If you have fur babies go ahead and bring them along ..this property is dog friendly! Our two Frenchies really enjoyed their time here.. being spoiled by the staff. They give water bowls and dog treats. There are many dogs in the property during our visit. Each of them were also happy to be able to socialize with their families as we could tell. If you can't tell...I Love the Ritz Rancho Mirage.

The first night we arrived (Saturday around 5pm) we immediately went to the pool to cool off, chill and relax after being out all day. The pool area was a MESS. Quit gross and a turnoff, actually. Trash all over the place. Empty cups and cans and used plates of food. Not one employee came in there the entire time. We were ready to spend money too. She/he could've made some nice tips. There were other adults in there too wanting service and made the same comment as us. There were also zero towels left to use, just dozens of used ones all over. I give this place 3.5 stars. I will not stay here again. I will continue to stay at the resort we usually go to.

So what differentiates this from other Palm Springs area resorts? The service, by far. The property is phenomenal and the upkeep and maintenance is good, on par with other places. For example, at the pool, we found straws from the previous guest, etc. not a deal breaker, but something to observe. But everyone I interacted with genuinely seemed like they wanted us to have a good time. If it was fake, it was very good acting. From the valet to check in, amazing! Javier checked us in. 7 out of 5. Stress free. The pool area, 8 out of 5. Off the charts. Attention management: I stay at a lot of hotels and resorts. And though I'm sometimes overly generous with my ratings, I can honestly say Dru is the best server I've had, ever. She should run the joint! I wish I could give her a raise. Evan was pretty bad ass too and should be commended! Will I be back? 100 percent. Amazing property, rooms are great, staff is awesome. The rooms are a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the property, but the overall experience more than makes up for it. The pools, grounds, and amenities make this a great place to spend a long weekend. I'd definitely recommend staying here--just be prepared if you're visiting in the summer. We stopped by here for a night to split up a road trip…read more We had been wanting to come since we wanted to see their golf course for another time and it was a really nice location. Golf course was closed but we were still able to see it. It's a big property. Lots to do. Do like they allow dogs since we had ours. They had multiple pools which we liked. We didn't use it but near one. Neither one looked too busy which was nice. Once we got settled into our room we went to go see Pinz and Pints since they had arcade games, including a duckpin bowling. My son was really excited about that. When we went they had a complimentary drink and candy bar. Drinks they offer are limited but still decent. We did get some food there as well. We got their nachos, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders for my son. Both the nachos and Mac and cheese were really good. Love nachos and wanted to keep eating them. The next morning we went for breakfast at Pinzimini. They have a buffet option and also have a standard breakfast menu to choose items from. My husband got their brioche French toast and I selected to do their buffet. I know he liked the French toast. I liked the items offered in their buffet. They had a mix of mini pastries, cooked items, fruit. I primarily stuck with their pastries and fruit. Overall it was a nice location. Golf course is big. The resort fee also felt hard to justify. The included amenities did not seem to match the extra charge. The two complimentary drinks were limited to Truly canned drinks or a small pour of hard lemonade or iced tea, which felt underwhelming for a resort of this caliber. We did enjoy the range balls, but as early risers, I would have appreciated access to the spa or pool earlier in the morning. Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The bed sheets had what looked like an oil or grease stain, the closet door was broken, and the overall furnishings and finishes felt worn and dated rather than well maintained. This is very much a family resort, so that is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Even at the adults-only Paloma Pool, children were jumping into the water and splashing guests' drinks while parents appeared unconcerned. That made it difficult to relax in what was supposed to be a peaceful setting. On a positive note, the entrance walkway, lobby, and open-air courtyard are beautiful and make for a strong first impression. Unfortunately, that charm does not extend to the guest rooms, which are clearly in need of a refresh.

Throughout each iteration the Hyatt quality standard has only improved. For families especially we prefer it over the Omni and other similar hotels in the area. Highlights include a wonderful water park with 2 large slides and a fantastic lazy river. For the little ones, there's a splash pad and a smaller slide plus multiple pools. For adults, there's a whole section of quieter adult pools that are all well maintained. But the highlight is easily the lazy river. I could get my beverage and float all day in the lazy river if I'm honest. Which isn't to miss anything about the beautiful property inside as well. The coffee shop has a lot of good coffee and solid lunch and breakfast options. The rooms are spacious and clean, we couldn't have been happier. Also the gym is nice and next to a man made pond. The only downsides are the restaurants on the property didn't do much for us for dinner, but the poolside offerings - from the Hyatt's own poolside service to the pizza restaurant were good, if not great. The other downside is that busy seasons mean you need to get to the pool early to get a chair. It fills up pretty fast. Inconvenient as it may be, we never waited for a slide or inner tube long once there. Also the dive in movie is relying on pretty amateur tech. The outside PA speakers and bed sheet feel cheap. We skipped it. A comfortable stay, great family activity, and a fun/clean atmosphere make this the hotel we always book first when looking for a fun getaway to the desert.

I accidentally dropped one of my earrings down the bathroom sink drain and was convinced it was gone for good. I reported it to the front desk and hoped for the best. When we returned later that day, I was thrilled to find my earring safely waiting in the room along with a note from Edgar. He took the time and effort to retrieve it, and I was incredibly grateful. What could have been a disappointing vacation moment turned into a great memory because of his kindness and willingness to help. Employees like Edgar make a real difference and are a wonderful reflection of the level of service provided here. Thank you, Edgar, for going above and beyond!

Our stay began on June 16th at 4:00 PM. Upon arrival, we waited in line to check in. Prior to our…read moretrip, my husband had made several attempts--over the course of months--to upgrade our reservation to a two-bedroom unit. Each call to the 1-800 number involved wait times exceeding 45 minutes, but we were consistently reassured that an upgrade could be accommodated upon arrival. Unfortunately, this was not the case. At check-in, the front desk informed us they could not assist and directed us to contact the 1-800 number again. After doing so, we spoke with a representative who reviewed the notes from our previous calls and confirmed that an upgrade should be possible. We were advised to request a manager upon returning to the desk. However, after waiting in line again and explaining the situation, the manager declined to come out and instead relayed through staff that the last two-bedroom unit had already been taken. As a family of five, a one-bedroom was not suitable, but we decided to move forward and make the best of the situation. Upon arriving at Building 6, we were immediately concerned by the condition of the property. The stairwells had visible cobwebs and scattered trash, giving the impression of poor upkeep. When we entered the unit, it was clear the space was not well designed for comfort. The living area was cramped due to excessive, unnecessary furniture, and both the living room and bedroom felt tight and poorly arranged. The bathroom was adequately sized but only had a single sink. The shower/tub leaked water, and the shower curtain appeared insufficient, which likely contributed to visible water damage. There was also noticeable mold and general uncleanliness in the bathroom. The carpeting throughout the unit appeared heavily soiled. The pool experience was also disappointing. The property advertises multiple pools, including two with water slides. On our second day, we attempted to enjoy these amenities, only to find that one of the main pools connected to a slide was closed, with assurances it would reopen the following day. At the main pool, we found the patio furniture in poor condition--cushions were torn and visibly dirty--and the pool water itself appeared unclean. Additionally, there was ongoing construction nearby, which disrupted the environment and required guests, including my daughter, to repeatedly accommodate workers passing through. We moved to a quieter pool area, which was somewhat better, but the water still appeared less than clean. On the third day, the previously closed pool remained unavailable, adding to our frustration. We eventually found another pool area that was better maintained, with cleaner seating. Food service was also inconvenient, as everything had to be ordered through a mobile system with no traditional waitstaff, which made the experience less enjoyable. Other issues included receiving extra blankets and pillows delivered in trash bags, which felt highly unprofessional. The pull-out sofa bed was in poor condition, with torn bedding and what appeared to be stains on the mattress. Overall, after four days, we were ready to return home. This was one of the most disappointing stays we have experienced. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unresponsive customer service made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing family trip.

As such, I have stayed in a long list of Marriott brand properties, all were great, however, the Renaissance Esmeralda stands out above the high standards of the others. My first experience staying at this magnificent property was over the 2018-2019 New Years. Not only did we get to enjoy the wonderful experience at Renaissance Esmeralda, we went down to the great New Years party in the lower level between the bar and stairs/fountain. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following year to celebrate New Years and have stayed a few other times when we had family and friends visiting. More recently, while celebrating my 50th birthday, I stayed at five different Marriott properties over the course of my birthday and the days leading up to it. The fourth stay/night was at Renaissance Esmeralda and was by far the best! My experience there exceeded the wonderful stays I had at the other four Marriott properties, one of which was a W. The Renaissance Esmeralda also exceeded my expectations compared to a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage a few months ago. From check-in to check-out, my experience there was outstanding to say the least. Charlie checked us in and provided exceptional service, as did Jonetta at check-out. It happened to be the eve of my birthday, so I was able to wake up at my favorite Marriott property ever! I was upgraded to an absolutely beautiful and large suite, which had panoramic views of the beautiful mountains, the one-of-a-kind resort style pool area and more. We arrived and found the suite that was absolutely impeccably clean, and a very nice and thoughtful surprise, a piece of birthday cake along with a bottle of wonderful wine. We also very much enjoy and appreciate the updated suites with their mid-century modern style, especially the cool bathroom wallpaper with some of Palm Springs' best mid-century modern homes. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast where Amparo provided exceptional service and food. In both the evening and the next morning, we took time to enjoy the refreshing pool area. I also very much appreciated the covered garage parking with complimentary EV charging, where we were able to charge my truck, so we didn't have to stop in the morning before heading back to Redondo Beach, allowing us more time to enjoy all the greatness Renaissance Esmeralda has to offer. Finally, we like to walk each morning with my service dog, and the property and surrounding areas couldn't be better, as there are many grass areas and some nice shaded spaces. We are already planning on returning the Renaissance Esmeralda in November when we will have family visiting, and since they are golfers, they can enjoy the adjacent beautiful course. I highly recommend this outstanding resort and property for any couple or family who wants to experience the absolute best that Marriott and the Coachella valley offer.

Unfortunately, while I was showering, I noticed that the water was not draining. Because I was so tired, it took me a moment to realize that my feet were standing in several inches of dirty water. When I removed the drain cover, I was horrified to find a large clump of thick black hair measuring approximately 3 inches by 3 inches and about three-quarters of an inch thick blocking the drain. I immediately got out of the shower and thoroughly washed my feet, but by then I felt physically ill. I went to the front desk to explain what had happened. The staff seemed less than sympathetic and offered me two options: move to a room that was not as nice as my current one or wait for housekeeping, although they could not tell me how long that would take. I explained that I simply wanted to take another shower as soon as possible and asked if housekeeping could be expedited. My request appeared to inconvenience them, despite the fact that I remained calm and courteous throughout the conversation. When housekeeping finally arrived, the experience became even more disappointing. The housekeeper came without any cleaning supplies. Instead, she picked up one of the washcloths from my bathroom and used it to wipe away part of the hair. No disinfectant or cleaning products were used. She then looked at me and, in a rude tone, asked, "Is that all you need?" I was completely shocked by both the lack of professionalism and the absence of any attempt to properly sanitize the shower. Fortunately, I had taken several photographs of the hair before housekeeping arrived. I returned to the front desk and showed the pictures to another guest relations employee, whose reaction confirmed that my concerns were justified. She immediately called over the manager on duty. After seeing the photos, he apologized and offered to move me to a pool view room with a larger balcony than my other pool view room, which I appreciated. However, by that point the damage had already been done. I was still nauseated from having unknowingly stood in filthy, backed-up water containing someone else's hair, and I was emotionally drained after what should have been a relaxing start to my trip. After such a long drive, this was the last experience I expected, and it significantly impacted my impression of the hotel. I hope this experience is taken seriously, not only because of the obvious sanitation concerns, but also because guests deserve to be treated with empathy and professionalism when issues like this arise. I sincerely hope steps are taken to improve both housekeeping procedures and customer service so that no future guest has to endure a similar experience.
