Brought in my 2019 Toyota Tundra for an alignment and tire rotation. The last place that did my alignment did it incorrectly and one of my tires was wearing out faster than others. My car got a bolt stuck in its tire due to construction on the roads and I was so worried I wouldn't be able to get it fixed the day before thanksgiving. The staff at Firestone was so helpful and kind! They let me know that my tire needed to be replaced and got a great deal for me. They were so considerate and checked my other tires for leaks. They had such great attitudes even though thanksgiving was the next day. So impressed with their service! read more

I had a good experience with my car specifically, though I noticed something. What I noticed troubled me because of the pandemic our world is going through. There is an employee here that hasn't worn a face mask the entire time I've been here which is around 5 hours. The employee wore a maroon shirt and pants and is older in age with grayer hair, also he's tall I believe his name is Clinton who interacted with customers without a face mask. This review would be better if I wasn't someone who cares about the well being of others. Workers in the garage aren't wearing masks so I hope if they worked on my car I don't get sick, it they don't interact much with customers. read more

BEWARE. Whatever you do, do not go here! It is not like other Firestone locations. Even with an appointment I waited three hours. And this was an appointment I had worked so hard to get because I was told over the phone that you could create them online but when it came time for it another employee told me that their system does not work online so I had to create a new one (which they did not honor when I arrived because no bays were even near ready). Only one employee cared about customer service and he kept apologizing for how poor my experience was. Bless him. I had to come back again because the mechanics forgot to do what I had for and already paid for. Even after I had waited so long to be helped. It is not worth it. Avoid at all costs. I was very patient until they ended up doing things wrong even after coming back, and I am not going back there a fourth time for them to fix it. Do not use they will mislead you on warranty info and hold your car hostage. For over ten years we have always had a great experience with our neighborhood Firestone in Austin. However recently we dealt with the store in Bryan TX on Texas Ave for our daughter's car who is attending Texas A&M University. The manager Mike and his team explained that I had to pay my part for repairs which I did expeditiously (within an hour) and then they would collect the remaining balance from our warranty provider. They told me I could pick up the car when the work was completed. This was very misleading, as they would not return my car when it was completed until the warranty company released their payment 2 days later. My daughter was stuck without a car away from home. If this is the way they do business then they should be very clear about it. The manager Mike said he would be very persistent about contacting the warranty company after holding my car hostage, this was yet another false statement. Only after we did a conference call with the warranty company and Manager Mike were we able to complete this transaction. This was because Mike and his Firestone team were unable to complete the required paper work correctly for payment. This was apparently due to incompetence or shear disregard for the situation our daughter was in being with out the use of her car. I cannot imagine what we would have done or the expenses we would have accrued if we were traveling through on a road trip with no other car available to us. Word to the wise do not use Firestone unless you have received a good explanation of their policies and have something in writing explaining what the expectations are going to be. This was a horrible and deceitful experience for us, we have already located and established another source in the Bryan/College Station area for car repairs. We will no longer use Firestone anywhere ever again. It's a shame this one location has ruined it for others. We will continue to share our experience with family, friends and others. They are professional, thorough, honest and transparent- They let me know what they are doing and why. I've only ever gotten an oil change from here, but I've had great service each time. Very friendly staff, a convenient location, and Firestone's website usually has some sort of coupon that beats most other places in town. I normally leave my car for the afternoon or morning during the week while I'm working, so I've never timed them on service. read more

I came in for 4 new tires and they did work on my car WITHOUT telling me first and tried to charge me. After several minutes of explaining how WRONG that was to assume I could pay and how UNPROFESSIONAL it was the cashier finally retracted. After paying $500 they didn't put my spare back together in the Jeep, after I asked them to BEFORE I dropped off my car. So, I went ahead and waited another 2 hours for that to be completed but I did use that time for them to inspect the car. I don't think some of them pay attention because I went from one cashier to the next to check in for the spare to be put back and he didn't realize that I was literally just there paying $500. I was told 2 hours wait, but was finished in an hour. As a girl with no mechanical background I appreciate that they are being honest in their diagnosis and were not trying to make me replace random stuff to get money out of me. I came thinking my tires needed a fix. They told me they were fine and only had to change the valve cap which was like $7.00. Had my car at the shop at 7am to replace a flat tire. 4 hours later I'm still waiting for lug nuts to come in and be put on. Will never be using Firestone again, no sense of urgency. Having one mechanic in the shop at 7 is a poor practice to have established. read more
