Horrible experience! I've spoken to three different managers, including corporate-level staff, and they all offer different excuses for the terrible service that led to my son's CRV motor being destroyed. I spent over $2,000, and instead of fixing the overheating issue, they didn't even check the cooling system properly. Now it's supposedly under investigation by a third-party inspector. Firestone claims to support military families and students, but that's a lie. Avoid them! read more

Integrity -As a woman taking my car in to a mechanic for a possible problem, it always gives me anxiety! I discovered I was having an oil leak by seeing some spots in the driveway. I took it into this Firestone and they called me to let me know the issue was with the plug in my oil pan, it was a little loose and that was where the leak was coming form. WOW!!! We came in to have a tire replaced and couldn't have been more pleased with the service. The folks were nice and the service didn't take too long. I'm amused by the photos below. Two are clearly stock photos uploaded by a corporate PR intern but they are ABSOLUTELY NOT this location. In truth, it's an older store that needs a bit of TLC. My step-dad took my vehicle in to get it looked over so we could give it to my niece who totaled her car. I knew there were some issues, and I wanted to take care of some of ones related to the safety of the car. First, I was disappointed that few of the people behind the computers wore masks. Sure they had them on, but they're pretty ineffective when they are under your mouth on your chin. I was in full mask and a face shield and I wanted to tell them that I just recently had Covid when I was diagnosed on the 3rd of January. Anyway, back to the actual service. Left the car with them so they could do a thorough check. A few hours later, they call my step-dad and tell him about 9 things that should be fixed, all costing about $3000 with all the parts and labor. My step-dad agreed to a couple of things, and paid close to $900 for a knock sensor replacement, new battery and battery cables and new terminals. My step-dad brings the car home and shows me the list of other things they want to do, all adding up to be about $2200 more. I look it over and start doing some googling and youtubing. The knock sensor they replaced for $500, $305 for parts, and $200 for labor. I found the exact part on Auto zone for $173. It would take me about 2 hrs to install it on my own. They said it needs a new oxygen sensor. Their cost. $305 for the part, 200 labor. Search on Auto zone for the parts. $55 for the upstream sensor and $45 for the downstream. I can install it in an hour. 4 new struts they recommended. Cost. $1200 according to them. $380 for the front struts, $335 for the rear. Over $500 for labor. If I wanted to do it myself, Same struts on Auto Zone. Around $420 for all four. 2 hours of work from me. Oh yeah, took it to another mechanic and he said it doesn't need new struts. My step-dad is an old retired Army guy, and it's shameful that this place takes advantage of him this way. I would never take my car here again read more

Our family was traveling with our daughter (who had just graduated college) on a Sunday from Rome, Georgia to Tallahassee, FL. My daughter's alternator failed just outside of Columbus. Service Manager Joey Barker answered my call quickly, was supportive and confident he could help. We arrived and the shop was busy, but he and tech Joseph Collins were ready with all the necessary parts. Our family went to grab a late lunch and Joseph and Joey had the job completed before we finished our meal. To be treated like family in an unfamiliar town was wonderful. We were thrilled and completely satisfied. We even made it to our final destination before the sun had set. Bravo to Firestone. Joey and Joseph are champions. I love this place if it wasn't for Firestone I think I would've spent (wasted)$700+ to get my car serviced at the Hyundai dealership. Hyundai tried to make me pay for a pulley and tensioner I came to Firestone because Hyundai was making up prices to get it replaced they told me it needed to be done ASAP. Firestone told me that it was in excellent shape it didn't need to be done, they was very honest if it wasn't for you guys I would've never knew that it was still actual honest businesses anymore. A guy named Jerry who works there was VERY friendly he explained everything to me in a very professional manner. This will be my new shop thank you guys you are awesome read more

Very disrespectful of value of customer time. Scheduled 12pm appt. At 1pm, told they were 1hr behind and agreed to wait. Didn't start service until 3:30pm. Waited 5hrs for 4 new tires & alignment. Took my vehicle to get a tire patched. After it was done the tire on the invoice was the wrong tire I told the representative. He said it was probably just a mistake and that the right one was probably done. In two weeks I had to fill the tire up twice with air. I went in to talk to them and the woman working was very rude continuously cutting me off mid sentence and had a horrible attitude. She said she can have someone look at it, but I told her I didn't have time to waste having them "fix" it again. Then she rudely asked, "What do you want me to do?" I told her never mind it's fine. I will never go to a Firestone Center again and will warn others the same. Update: Took my vehicle somewhere else to get checked and they had to completely replace the tire. Got a phone call from the locations manager and was told I could get a refund if I came in, but at this point I'm not wasting time going there a third time due to incompetency. read more

First and last time coming to Firestone period came in 2 hrs before I had to go to work just in case they were busy. When I got there the seemed slow and proved it as well seeing that the clerks and manager were goofing around acting like kids not worried about business or their customers sake of time. All i went there to do is get 2 Tires and it took 1hr 45 min because the workers in garage were smoking in the garage around the cars being worked on or messing around with manager . Then car was done and no store clerk bothered to get my keys to get me checked out but rather talk to other known friends that came in. Needless to say I was late to work since my time was wasted due to foolishness and unprofessional employees. Never again will I come here. read more

I've been here a couple times, mainly for oil changes and basic services, it's decent sized for a Firestone, the waiting area is average, they offer free wifi (w/no password) so anyone close can use it so its....very slow...the wait is pretty standard...on my most recent visit I got some maintenance done: oil change, wheel alignment, the fall care package, they recommended that I get some more work soon (it would be needed in the coming months) but it was way overpriced so I passed...the funny thing? The fall care package included then checking my battery...(this was a Saturday) I didn't drive my car at all on Sunday but low and behold Monday morning my car wouldn't start....the battery's voltage was way low so I had it replaced elsewhere but WHY did Firestone make sure to pressure me about some overpriced work that wasn't as urgent as they were making it seem BUT failed to say anything about my battery ::side eye:: won't be returning to this location smh. read more

You want your car repaired by someone who knows what their doing take it somewhere else. Beginning with the receptionist who had no clue what she was talking about even the simplest thing about a car then advises hourly labor and has no clue what has to be done. I've been a Firestone customer for years by this one is the worst in the states. read more
