After retiring to Gulf Shores nearly 7 years ago, I can honestly say this is still my go-to tire shop. Back in 2020, my last review, I was just starting to build a relationship with these guys after moving from TN, and they have definitely lived up to that first impression. They are still the same friendly, professional crew I remember. Even though I am just here for a single tire replacement this morning, they're getting me in and out just as fast as they did when I bought that full set of Michelins. The waiting room is still a great perk too. It is clean, cool, and has plenty of space to chill out with the big TV and free WiFi while they work on the car. They really make a stressful morning a lot easier to handle. Bottom line: These guys are honest, fast, and reliable. After six years of coming here, I still highly recommend them for tires, brakes, or an oil changes. Highly recommended!

I…read morehad one of my tires somehow run over something in a gravel parking lot that made it immediately deflate. So after getting my spare tire on and arriving to Goodyear they found sidewall damage that couldn't be repaired and quickly got me a new tire installed and it came with a warranty. A few years later that same tire started to very slowly deflate on me over the course of several weeks. The deflation finally started getting faster so I decided to take it in after I couldn't find anything wrong with the tire and then people doing my oil change couldn't find anything either. So the Goodyear folks finally found a screw stuck into the sidewall of the tire facing towards the inside of the vehicle. Well apparently the tire warranty only lasted a short time as it had already expired which is a bit different than other tire warranties I've had. They also didn't have my tire in stock so they replaced it with what they did have in stock. What I found unusual is they didn't just replace my tire with the full size spare that is the same type of tire and then just put in their different type of tire in my spare tire space. Overall they got everything done faster than most places these days.

Walmart and my Costco membership both have some great options for ordering tires but I didn't have time for that even though it would have saved me a decent chunk of loot if I would have had the time to wait for a new tire. I found tires with great reviews and a long warranty, and even used ChatGPT to compare the different options Walmart had available, which made the decision super easy. The best part is I ordered the tires that same morning around 10 AM and they're arriving the very next day at my local Walmart here in Foley. I was even able to schedule installation online for tomorrow from 6-7 PM through the Walmart website. This whole process saved me a significant amount of money and was incredibly easy. I called and spoke with Mindy, explained what I needed, and she quickly gave me several options. I chose a tire they had in stock and headed over. They replaced the tire, completed a vehicle inspection, and pointed out a few deficiencies--which is pretty standard these days. They provided a price for each repair, but there was no pressure or aggressive upselling. Fast-forward a few weeks: I needed tires mounted on my son's vehicle and the TPMS sensors transferred, and I decided to return to Vannoy's. I received the same great service from Mindy and watched her treat every customer with the same patience and professionalism. At one point, she took a call from what I assume was an unhappy customer regarding work completed under the shop's previous ownership--something neither Mindy nor the current team had been involved with. The way she handled the conversation deserves special recognition. She clearly explained the ownership change, made no promises or excuses, and still went above and beyond. She offered to contact former team members to see whether they remembered the work and promised to personally follow up with management to determine whether anything could be done. If you've read this far, it's probably no surprise that I recommend Vannoy's on 9 Mile Road at I-10--but even more so, I recommend asking for Mindy. She completely changed my perception of the business.

Charged me $650 to replace header gasket, header bolts, and spark plugs. They told me my headers were fine and not warped. Three weeks later my exhaust is back leaking from the same spot.
