I dropped my truck off at 10:00 AM for a simple oil change and was told that if I left it, it would be completed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Throughout the day, I drove by the shop multiple times since it's located on post, and each time my truck was still parked in the exact same spot where I left it. Around 2:10 PM, I called to check on the status of my vehicle and was told they were "about to pull it in." At that point, I decided not to proceed with the service. When I arrived back at the shop, my truck was still sitting in the same location. I went inside to retrieve my keys and, once again, was met with no greeting or basic customer service. To make matters worse, the employee returned with my keys and threw them onto the counter while I had my hand extended to receive them. I understand that shops can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor communication, lack of professionalism, and disrespectful treatment of customers. Working on a military installation and servicing Soldiers' vehicles should come with a higher standard of customer service. After sharing my experience with several other Soldiers, I was told that many of them have had similar experiences, if not worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location and believe significant improvements in customer service and management are needed. read more

Scheduling was easy online, made an appointment for 10am for an oil and filter change on my 4Runner. I waited while it was being worked on, took 2 hours, the total was $122. AC was good, adequate amount of chairs, bathrooms are outside. It's probably best to drop off and pick up your vehicle. read more

Came for a oil change and tire rotation at 8 in the morning with a appointment. Workers are friendly, and free coffee in the main lobby. . But this place has gotten extremely expensive. I have known of this fire stone and have gone here since 2011 to 2019. A year ago I came in for the same work, and it was 29.00 cheeper. Different management as well. I would suggest going somewhere els for the price of .$19.99- 45.00. Sorry Firestone, You officially lost my business. Update- since I last posted, my sensors for my tires are not rite, and instead of nitrogen in my tires like it says it's supposed to have- I have regular air that fluctuates between 30 psi to 37 psi if I drive 20 minutes. read more

What a terrible experience. For a company that is inside a military base serving military families to be treating and scamming service member families is unacceptable. I had made an appointment for a 20 min service. Upon arrival Kayla, who by the way has zero customer skills and/or professionalism, told me I had to wait about 2 hours because there were cars in front of me. So why did I make an appointment? Who knows! I returned at 10 am Kayla then informed me that they had ordered the wrong part ! Nobody called me to let me know if the issue by the way. I waited another hour and still nothing. I got a hold of the supervisor who offered me a $100 discount for having me wait more than 3 hours for a 20 min Job with an appointment. After making the payment I realized I had been charged $230 after they had quoted me $250 ? So I double checked my receipt and the quote they had previously given me just to find out they had increased the price of the parts so they could give me the refund. What a scam! I contacted corporate to report this incident and the district manager was supposed to contact me and never did! So beware this how Firestone is operating! this place is a complete joke. like they will do the work fine i guess, but do not, I REPEAT DOOO NOOOTTT, let them charge you for the parts. see attached receipt picture and the attached Autozone prices of the same part number. they are charging 3 times as much for the same part. its ridiculous. Listen people, i am very mechanically inclined and could have done the work my self at the Auto Workshop by Airborne, i was expecting the labor costs to save me time, but i can not wrap my head around it. but hey, you get the 10% military discount. this is completely outrageous and should be discussed with Garrison. Their inspection is $20 or so, let em tell you what they think should be fixed, then you go get the parts, then let em fix it with those should you want them too. read more

Since I moved to Benning, I have been taking my 4runner to this place. Anything I have asked, it's been taken care of and when they do find something wrong I am always informed. Some places try to rip you off and find all these faults. 3 years living here and they have maintained my car as is, my 4runner is 15 years old. Thank you! read more

Everybody is really nice and pretty knowledgeable but their tires are far more expensive then if you buy them amazon, tire rack, or even Walmart. Also the service isn't tax free like some other places on post so no incentive at all. They can order almost any tire from Atlanta and have it here in less then 24 hours. Updating review: just moved it from 3 stars to 1 star, guy told me I needed an alinement and that the cheapest around town was 85 bucks and they do it for 79, that sounded wrong, asked him to wait a min and the first place I called charges $55 read more

Take your car elsewhere! We took our car there for an oil change which was completed (for $90). But now one day later the car overheats in 5 minutes when prior it ran just fine. It's not worth the chance of them breaking your car too. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the service. It was very quick - we were in and out in about 30min for a battery change in our Chevy. I didn't want to take the car to the GM dealer off post because taking a shuttle home with a baby would've been too hectic. This on post car place was a much easier option. The staff was very friendly and the price was decent. I would recommend having an early appointment. read more

After having my truck for 30min they realize they don't have the valve stem I need. The manager apologies and says they will have it in a couple hours. He also promises to take care of me. Several hours later he charges me full price! The apologizes again saying he wasn't going to charge me. So Ya almost 4hrs for a valve stem. read more

I had new tires installed on my Infiniti G-37 that I purchased from simple tire online. I can't even put into words how bad the whole experience was. The staff, including the Manager (Angel), are simply incompetent. They had my tires in the shop for days before telling me that tire was for and SUV. I asked SimpleTire to return them for a refund. I never heard back from SimpleTire nor did I get a refund, instead they sent another set to Benning Firestone without my knowledge. When I went to Firestone they said that the tire was in and they could install them but these was the original tire that they said was for a SUV but they didn't know or check. The installed tires are very very very loud when driving on smooth roads. I informed simpleTire and they notified that they sent a new set. Firestone didn't even know that the new set was there until I drove down there and made the check... the new tire was there but they was the exact same ones that them install earlier. Long story made short... I have a set of useless tire on my car that I paid over $400 for plus Firestone installation charges of 287.39. The cost included a lifetime alignment charge of 169.00 that they won't refund and charge for a one-time alignment charge. I was told by Angel that the lifetime alignment had been with the tires and no refund can be given. How do one install a lifetime alignment? SimpleTire refused to resolve my purchase problems with the tires. That was my first and last time dealing with either them except for letting the public know how incompetent they both are. Lucky for me that... I didn't purchase more expensive tires. I purchased Venezia P225 50R18 and once I have them removes they can be bought for $100 by the first per who wants them. They would probably be just find on a small SUV. I will have Nissan or Infiniti to install new Dunlop tires next week. I promise that I WIIL NEVER utilize SIMPLE-TIRE or FIRESTONE again. Firestone is usually the go to stop for tire issues; but this may have to change. This has been some of the worst treatment I've ever had. All I need is a flat repair and I feel like I asked the clerk for one of her kidneys- it's not like I come here for the ambiance or the cable and coffee. This is exactly how I planned on spending my morning too. Glad we're all so excited about it. Maybe I should apologize for being proactive about fixing a flat and just ask for a new tire set... maybe then the clerk would have a better outlook on her life. read more

Had to get reimbursed on warranty item I had replaced out of town on a trip and Mr. Buchanan made sure I got reimbursed with no problem.

Every time I bring my car to get the tires rotated they lose a wheel bolt they also don't use the lifting point designed on the car to lift it. At least they do fix and make up for the lost by purchasing and installing a new wheel bolt for the one they lost. Just make sure to count them before and after picking up the car read more
